In an experience that mimics my previous review, but this time with the eye rolling Dymond S. who would not utter a word to me despite my attempt at pleasantries - yet she would stop the transaction to say hello and see how someone (who was obviously a friend) was doing whilst the friend was walking out the door. Then immediately back to ignoring me. She then proceeded to throw my Veuve Clicquot into the same bag as the Tiger Sauce - with nothing but a small paper bag to contain the shards should they have busted against one another. And then without a word or even eye contact, held my receipt out for me to take. What is wrong with this location that their cashiers can't just be decent human beings and employ basic kindness to customers? We're not asking for a parade or to be fawned over, a simple response to a kind hello would suffice. But you choose to be nasty, without provocation, and I just cannot understand why.

It is 85% the young employee. As a customer it seems they resent having to answer a customer's question, or request for help. Comes across as they are not there to help or even consider you, rather that they are special "cool" because they work there. Particularly the produce section, where their job to check or replace items is far more important than any measly customer. Their big cart is parked for their convenience, no matter a customer can't get to needed vegetables. Also in dairy I asked a worker what was the price on yougart since shelf price label was missing. Reply? " I don't eat yougart so I don't know". Also one has to wonder if the choice of music is for customers or employees. Other notes: employees chatting on personal calls constantly or worse 3+ more gathered in an aisle talking about morning meeting/ mgr. There's more, but said observations have caused me to spend last time / $ there & go to a.store with better trained, courteous employees & mgr that does their job. I work hard for my dollar & will spend it where it is appreciated even if it sometimes means a bit less section. Its action that hits WF in the wallet until they make needed changes.

Their food is fresh, wholesome, and healthy. It's great value. I don't think they use any preservatives and they also support other local businesses such as Mona 's and our local honey place. I love how they have now settled into this brick and mortar location and expanded the place to offer seating for lunch. They have reusable silverware and a microwave and it's just a lovely spot for a quick afternoon lunch break if you're in the area. And then you can get some food to go and take it home with you for later.

Forgot to take pics before I gobbled it down, but I drizzled some sriracha on them and topped the pieces (8 total) with jalapeño slices - boom, fricking delicious. To me Aldi's just another place to shop, but my kid makes it so much fun I love it, too!

On this trip I just needed a few items that would have been available at any drug, convenience, or large grocery store. I stopped here because it was on the way home, plus I figured I would enjoy the store and I most certainly did. There are only 4-6 aisles in this store and each is packed with items to maximize space. There is a small produce area, deli and larger liquor area. Apparently Madisonville likes their booze. The produce was fresh and fairly priced, but don't expect the selection you'd find at a larger store. I bought bananas and pears, both of which were devoured by my children soon after bringing them home. I didn't buy any of their meat this trip, but they had a good variety of freshly packaged meat available. They even had frog legs and stuffed chickens available. Speaking of kids, if yours are the rambunctious type, they may bump into things as they twirl to the imaginary music in their heads. I lucked out that mine saved that behavior for the parking lot, but the aisles are somewhat narrow so use caution. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at this old style neighborhood grocery. I doubt it will become my regular store, but I will be sure to stop in whenever I'm passing through and need a few items.

I did get lucky and found jalapenos on the shelf, but this was the first time in the last 4 visits there were any available. It's our own fault, I know; the drive to save a penny for the consumer means cost-cutting everywhere except for the shareholders. Still, there are some friendly and helpful folks, and the store is clean and well-lit, and always an adventure - the layout seems like it constantly changes, and I took a long stroll until I finally found the al-you-mini-um ferl. First, browsing the (ever diminishing) fishing section, I noticed that approx half of the rods and reels were either missing the reel handle or HALF THE WHOLE ROD. Upon asking an assistant, they informed me they were still full price, would not mark down, and that they "throw the extra parts away". Now that it was evident I wasn't hitting the water, I moseyed over the electronics to pick up an Xbox controller. Where on the app, it says 53.99 and in store listed at 64. Asked the "assistant" and was told "I'll give it to you for whatever it rings up as" and promptly dismissed me to continue gossip with a coworker. After this hour long ordeal, I've done nothing but wasted time and lost all hope in Walmart. But at least I didn't spend the money!
