Hawaiian pizza on cauliflower crust was actually really good... just pricey for what it is. Wings were fine, nothing special. The real MVP was the ice cream situation. Would definitely come back for the vibes and to try more of the food, but let's be real... I'm mainly returning for that nostalgic Thrifty ice cream fix.

Unfortunately, my most recent order was a letdown. The pizza arrived pretty burnt, which completely changed the flavor to the point I couldn't even eat it anymore. I ordered through Uber Eats, and was told that a burnt pizza wasn't a qualifying reason for a refund, which made the situation even more frustrating. What makes this especially disappointing is that I ALWAYS enjoy the food here. That's why this experience stood out so much. As someone who loves pizza, it's hard not to be disappointed when you're looking forward to a good meal and it arrives overcooked. That said, I still think this place is worth trying because I've had many good experiences. I'm hoping this was simply an off day. My only recommendation would be to check your pizza before leaving the restaurant or, if you're ordering delivery, be aware that issues like this may not be covered by the delivery service.

I was really looking forward to the spumoni. They started off saying that some of their desserts they didn't have. But I said I'm really interested in this harmony and when I had it last time, it was so good and I believe it was in a slab but now it's formed into like an egg shaped almost and dipped in chocolate and I really did not enjoy it. The pizza was fine. It was very crispy on the bottom. I don't remember being as crispy before with a slight rosemary presence and I just remember the Escondido location being so much better than this one, it's good, it's really good, The pizza was perfectly fine. We all liked it and enjoyed it. But the real star of the night was the garlic knots we all really liked those and we had a side of Alfredo with them. They were so good. The Caesar salad was also raved about. Also, the inside of this one seems to have seen better days. We were sat at a table, with 6 chairs..5 of which we trusted to sit on. One of our chairs was literally falling apart at the table. It's got maybe 2 or 3 more sits before someone finds themselves on the floor. We had a stack of plates and two of them had really bad chips in them. One of them had a crack pretty much all the way across and if somebody grabs a plate they could really hurt themselves on that just invest in some new plates. The decor is so dated, even if it's not dusty, it looks it. The table clothes have seen better days. And they are cheap so why can't they replace them?? They look like if you got a good whiff of them, you'd definitely gag. This location could use a refresher. ASAP. Our server was friendly with a little bit of funny sarcastic humor which we all appreciated.

The takeout special is amazing, for $13.99 you get an XL cheese, a large 1 topping, OR a medium 2 topping. The cheese was piled on and cooked til a slightly browned on top, the pepperoni had a nice spice to it and they were cooked til the edges were crispy, and the sauce had a nice tangy tomato flavor and nice rich oregano hints. The added bonus was all the grease. That, to me, is a good pizza. And your crust was a little dense, but it worked with the combination of everything together.
