My husband and I went to Round Table Pizza in Norco on 8/7/2026. The place was full! Not sure if a party was booked or just the normal crowd for a Friday. That wasn't the problem, the problem was the number of tables that were waiting for their food prior to us getting there. Obviously, with that many people there, you will probably have to wait a bit. We waited over an hour to get our food! The people behind us were waiting even longer! The staff were rude and didn't seem to care when you would ask how much longer! The only person to finally ask us what we were waiting for was a very nice young lady named Kaylee. She was the only person on the floor asking customers what they were needing or missing and apologizing! Give her a raise! The icing on the cake, was hearing and seeing an employee yelling, cussing, and losing her sh$$ in the kitchen!!! It looked like she fighting with another employee. It was so unprofessional and made it very uncomfortable to eat there. We just wanted to hurry up and get out of there. I ordered a meatball sandwich and they came back and told me they no longer have it, then I ordered the spaghetti marinara with sausage and mushrooms. Paid for my meal. They came back to the table and told me they don't have any marinara. So I ordered the bacon chicken pasta, and it came to the table and it was cold. I went to the bar to get my glass of wine and the wine had lipstick marks on it and I asked him if I could have a new glass and there was three additional glasses that were the same. Decent quality. Salad bar is an ample variety. Interior nice and new. There are a lot of pizza places in and around Norco so this place is largely banking on their famous name. Location is sort of tucked away and the style of font of the signage is very new and different so I wasn't sure if it was "THE" Round Table. Lots of toppings, good chewy bite and crunch to crust. Price is out of hand...$40 for a pizza just blows my mind. The 3 stars is more about that as I was torn between 4 and 3 stars... If I could give a 3.5 I would.. I hate leaving negative reviews, but this one's hard to ignore. I recently visited Round Table and the entire place smelled like straight-up sewage. It was so strong that it hit the moment I walked in and never went away. Honestly, it makes you question everything--if the front of the restaurant smells like that, what does the kitchen look like? It completely killed my appetite and made it hard to feel comfortable eating there. Cleanliness is the bare minimum for any restaurant, and this was way below standard. It took over an hour for them to fulfill my order and it was for pickup. The guy who answered the phone was rude. He kept saying it's Friday night, you should expect a long wait. First of all, you told me 15 minutes. You didn't even start my order for another hour! Secondly, when I called to ask about the status of the order (I had someone else waiting at the restaurant to pick up the food) all you did was yell at me saying how short staffed you were and the person picking up my order wasn't even there yet anyway. Always come to this Round Table instead of the one by our house in South Corona. Normally it's much better. But today we had the rudest worker (Vanessa) that was throwing a fit around the restaurant, slamming plates, doors, cups, pizza trays. We asked her for a pitcher of half mango cart/ultra and we'd pay the higher price. When we asked She refused with an attitude and said "nope" and told us she would have to charge us for full two full pitchers. This is an order we make everywhere we go and have never been denied. Shortly after a couple came in and ordered a drink from the bar, and she slammed the door open to the bar exclaiming "fuck my life" as she was digging for a cups, making everyone in the restaurant turn and look. When she later brought their order out, she brought the wrong one. When she took it away, she threw their pizza across the bar, knocking over a tip jar and sliding it half off the pizza plate. When she brought them out the correct order, she barely acknowledged them and dropped their food and hurried away. The couple looked so uncomfortable. I wanted to like this place but sadly no. On multiple occasions we have ordered for delivery. Requested extra ranch, (which they charge for) but when the food is delivered they forget it and than you have to call and get a refund. Just a headache. Twice the pizza was delivered luke warm at best. The last time we tried ordering we asked for extra cheese and the response was "we can't do that, we are not allowed". We questioned it and the person was like I don't know what to tell you. So we decided to cancel the order and ordered elsewhere. Pizza was good but a bit pricey, not the worst problem, it was almost 30 for a pitcher off beer; slightly worst, but biggest problem was getting charged twice, especially when it was 98 dollars for our first visit here. Pizza was perfect and spectacular- cooked perfectly with perfect topping portions! They have a self-serve salad bar that I can't wait to try. They also serve beer and wine. Wowiii where do I start? I know it's a new place, but it's a chain Restaurant that should have its kinks worked out prior to opening to the public. Paul took our order and we had to correct our order multiple times (ordered bone in wings, rang up boneless). Ordered an 805 and a Michelob Ultra and when we're by the salad bar Paul shouts over to us "just to confirm it's a Coors light and a Modelo, right?" No... so we told him again. He brings the drinks to our table - "okay so I have a modelo and an 805" like where is the miscommunication here? Okay fine I'll drink a modelo instead. We also wanted to order 2 personal pizzas but Paul recommended getting a medium half and half instead. Didn't realize this was going to add $5 to our order. Also, only ordered 1 salad bar but he charged us for two. My husband just asked for a plate. Some other guy brings out our wings - "do we grab our ranch from the salad bar?" He responds and says "oh we usually charge for these but I'll grab a couple for you" mins you we already paid for ranch?? So I guess both the bar and the kitchen don't get tickets with the orders?? Sounds weird to me. We just asked for boxes, we're over it. Haven't eaten anything except for the salad bar which was pretty good. Just ordered from here at 3:28pm for delivery, with a time of 4:08 expected. I called after about an hour just to check on the order and the store stated the delivery driver just got in, and that it would be heading my way. Called back about 45 minutes later to cancel and get a refund as I hadn't yet received the delivery. I can be patient, and accept a little wiggle room, but 1hr 45 minutes, and an hour later than an estimated time, is a bit out of my range. Employee on the last call let me know they don't have a delivery driver until 4:30pm, so heads up if you order before that online. You won't receive any notice and the website allows the order, so roll the dice if you want. Employee offered a future discount, but, sadly, even though I like their pizza, it's not worth it to deal with any of that fun stuff. read more
