Wife seen this place on IG so first time trying this place. Not a place where you're eating inside It was pretty busy so I figured that was a good sign. We ordered 3 pizzas a cheese , pepperoni and pineapple, supreme, and appetizer. The pizza is average the cheese pizza was the best one out of the 3 . The appetizer sampler was pretty good.

Came in for mozzarella sticks and walked out with that and a warmed cookie pie. All I'm saying is if you're trying to lose weight do NOT get the cookie pie. Devoured in 2 min. Didn't even get home. Incredible.

Ordered wings for pick up a couple days ago wait was less then 20 min via the app which was great. When I picked up the wings I got them fast but could tell they were very fresh even though I was late tbh I think they tossed them when I got there which was nice. Great price for 10 wings and a side of fries. There blue cheese is great and the wings were solid.

We ordered pasta for delivery so I can't speak to the interior or ambiance, but the delivery was swift and accurate. We ordered spaghetti and meatballs and baked ziti. We asked for mushrooms to be added to the ziti and they did add them. The ziti was a little light on sauce and the pasta was good but not fantastic. However, it was all really good for the affordable price.

Customer service here is truly A+! I accidentally called the wrong pizza place to redeem a credit and didn't realize it until I pulled into the parking lot . Even though the mix-up was completely my fault, Luis and his brothers at Pizza Nona handled it with so much kindness and integrity . Ambiance was great even though they were busy! They had already made the order and still honored it as a credit, refused to let me pay full price, and only rang me up for a small pizza. I happily left the rest as a tip because their honesty and generosity were unmatched . They even walked my pizza out to the car! These gentlemen have officially earned my Pizza Friday business . Great food, even better people. Highly recommend!

The place was busy when my husband and I walked in, but they managed to fit us in and we're SO GRATEFUL they did! Our server Gioia was the most smiley, gracious gal and was super fun and easy to talk to! The owner Alfredo is a classic Italian entertainer, who serenaded a special lady on her birthday while we were there--we could not stop laughing about the candle he stuck onto his bald head!! Also, check out the bathroom...that's all I'll say When the food came, BOYYYY were we in Heaven! I ordered the Risotto ai Funghi while my husband ordered the Chicken Marsala. I would eat that risotto as my LAST MEAL ON EARTH, it was so melt-in-your-mouth DELICIOUS! And my husband downed his meal like his life depended on it...it's safe to say he was a BIG FAN! Plus their focaccia was *chef's kiss*...We learned that they make everything from scratch, so go to this restaurant not just to eat and leave but to DINE with great company and enjoy the time spent at this little pocket of Italy in America.

Things had already been slipping lately with slow service, burnt food, and even being served a different pasta than what was ordered without being told. We kept giving it grace because the staff had always been kind and it felt like home. This last visit changed that. After appetizers, I went to order my usual pasta with sausage and was told they were out. No one mentioned this earlier. Because I am allergic to dairy, I asked the server to check what options I could have that were dairy free but still included protein. He returned and told me I could have it with cream sauce. At that point, it was clear my allergy wasn't understood, so I asked to speak to a manager. I was told the manager was too busy and it would be a long wait despite the restaurant only having about four or five tables occupied. That response felt incredibly dismissive. I then asked if I could have chicken instead since it was on the menu. Eventually another server came out and said they could put chicken on the side. When I asked if it could simply be added to the pasta so I could eat it together, he told me no and even said there was no point in asking Alfredo because the answer would be no. After years of loyalty, I was sitting there being offered cream despite clearly stating I have a dairy allergy, with no protein option offered even though steak, chicken, and salmon are all on the menu. We asked for the check and left without a meal. Con Amore used to feel like home. Sadly, it no longer does.

Even though Courtney just finished taking care of a huge rush on her own as a Bartender in the Cocktail Section she tidied up all the tables quickly so I was able to sit in a comfortable and peacefully neat and orderly atmosphere. I ordered my favorite $6 Wednesday Cheeseburger Special and Courtney upsold me on the $4 fries addition to enhance the quality of my meal too! I also ordered the $7 small plate of Calamari as an Appetizer which was perfect as a light and satisfying crispy and flavorful treat to enjoy while catching up with the NBA Playoffs at the bar :0) Desiree helped me on Friday night and I appreciated how pleasant and well poised she was in pushing through unexpected obstacles of the evening too! The Frozen Margarita machines weren't working but Desiree communicated apologetically and was still able to make me a tastefully yummy $5 Strawberry Peach Bellini. I ordered the Neverending pasta and shrimp Friday night Special which included a fabulous first round of Italian Nachos Appetizer too! Everything tasted amazing and I really appreciated Krista for running my food as soon as it was ready with an enthusiastically friendly smile and offer to grate cheese on my Marinera Bowtie Pasta for me too :0) Thank you to Karen, Araceli, and Phil for being visibly present and engaged Managers on Duty too and always taking the time to welcome me back with a kind and caring smile!!! I really love the culture of supportive and focused Teamwork here, it's great to see all the Employees help each other out with closing tasks to optimize the energy flow and take good care of the visual and functional efficiency of the Restaurant!

Color this jaded old reviewer (aka, your favorite Yelp correspondent) impressed…read more I'd undergone another painful dental procedure on FRI afternoon and was in search of a soft but rib-sticking cuisine that would both fill my capacious appetite, whetted as it was by my shift ferrying eight orders of food to hungry customers; AND, react well to being reheated in a microwave. Because, after all, I still had a good 90 minutes to go until I'd make it back home. Enter, with great gusto, Johnny Carino's! I ordered their version of the "Tour of Italy" that their big rival Olive Garden makes- the "Johnny's Combo," comprised of lasagna, chicken parm and spaghetti. Same exact $26.99 price point as Olive Garden, too! Pros: * Flavortown, Italy has officially bolted Olive Garden and moved to Johnny Carino's! I found the lasagna to be deeply satisfying; you can taste the fennel they use to season the ricotta and the finely minced Italian sausage that courses through the dish. * Ditto for the chicken parm, which was finger licking amazing! Thick, breaded, well griddled chicken filet blanketed with oozy, melted cheese. A revelation of Southern Italian flavors! Even the spaghetti, which is usually a give-to-my-Frenchies throwaway dish, was well above average. With real pieces of beef strewn in the flavorful ragu. * Portion size is GOOD. Where I can usually finish off an OG Tour of Italy at one seating, I definitely had Carino's for breakfast on SAT morning. Cons: * Carino's could learn a thing from their counterparts at the Olive Garden, who include a sizable Italian Salad and two of their famous bread sticks w/ their Tour. Carino's? They withhold the salad, instead try to hoodwink ya w/ an eupemistically-entitled "loaf" of bread that is more akin to two-thirds of a loaf. * Please, consider utilizing microwave-proof takeout containers! As my photo attests, I had to move my food to one of my own dishes because Carino's dispatched my order in an all-aluminum encased container...which would've set my microwave ablaze faster anything you've seen on "Chicago Fire!" But for sheer flavor and filling you up...it's very hard to beat Johnny Carino's!

Nothing hits harder than fresh bread at the table. We ordered the calamari and it was chef's kiss. Super crispy, perfectly seasoned, not greasy at all, and the marinara tasted so fresh and homemade. Like the kind of appetizer you accidentally keep eating even when you swear you're saving room for your entrée. The Caesar salad was also so good -- perfectly dressed, fresh, crunchy, and balanced without being overly heavy. For my main, I got the Penne alla Vodka with added chicken and WOW. The sauce was rich, creamy, flavorful, and had that perfect comforting pasta energy. The chicken was juicy, the pasta was cooked perfectly, and every bite just hit. You know a pasta dish is good when the whole table goes silent for a minute. Everything tasted high quality and made with care, which honestly makes such a difference. Definitely one of those spots where you immediately start planning what you're ordering next time before you even leave. Can't wait to come back and try the rest of the menu because if this was the first impression... I already know there are more hits waiting.

This half Italian can run rather brutal in Italian restaurant reviews. This is because my recently…read morelate Momma could humiliate almost every Italian restaurant in the Inland Empire. So I adjust out of fair play. This restaurant violated one of my strict restaurant rules, that applies to all cuisines: if you walk in and don't smell any food of any kind -- if the place smells like nothing -- turn and walk out immediately. But since YELP insisted this was a go, I stayed. TIP TO THE OWNER: if I were you, just before you open each night, I'd roast some garlic and hide it in the dining room -- maybe with a small fan on it. I'm not kidding. Okay, we were greeted by Sinatra in the air and Veronica, who gave us a gracious 'Italian' welcome. This is as much a part of the experience as anything. I've recently been to a new Italian spot that flubbed this. We were nudged towards risotto balls, which I'll be honest I've never managed to try but yum they both were. As was the marinara served with them, which is more of a delicate art than people understand. Some rolls came out and they were freshly made and delightful. They weren't doused in salt and so they needed that dash of provided soft whipped butter. So good I had one more roll than I wanted. Veronica made an excellent wine recommendation and off we were awaiting our entrees. We got there at opening and so we were seated in the bar/dining side. Ambiance was pretty okay but needed tweaking. I know tablecloths can scare off budget customers, but the room needed some warmth and that would have helped. Also bright setting sunlight was pouring in and I'd recommend lovely blinds for such occasions. The door at the bar leading into the back needs some paint. My vegetarian partner in crime got the eggplant parmesan, something both the menu and Veronica particularly recommended as a house specialty. It was good, but to this half Italian, not as special as it needs to be. Proper Egg Parm must absolutely melt in your mouth. If you must chew the eggplant at all, it's 'chewy' and not authentic. Look on YouTube, find an Italian -- do what you can to fix this. Trust me. My Chicken Piccata was good too, but not great. It was off somehow. To my tastebuds it wasn't creamy. If the owners PM me, I can tell you of two places within 40s minutes that do this plate properly. I enjoyed it, finished it, but I wouldn't order it again. Each of our plates came with two carrots, two pieces of broccoli, and two wedges of roasted potato. We could have had pasta but went with these sides. THEY WERE SHOCKINGLY GOOD. Not over cooked, not over seasoned, just perfect. It's an extremely odd experience to have a great wine, great appetizer, great bread, great sides -- but merely good entrees. This ate a star, sorry. We will return and try two other entrees. If they too disappoint, we likely won't return. But understand we want you to be great, because I strolled into Brio later and it was noisy cringe.

Honestly, from service to portion to food Quality, across the board everything was fantastic. Prices are fairly standard nothing exorbitant. The portions are great. I ordered the fried calamari which might've been the most tender and fresh calamari I think I've ever tasted. My wife had the Caprese salad, which was really fresh and well done. For the main meal, I had crab stuffed ravioli, and my wife had the steak beef bowl, which was enormous and could easily be shared with two people. The ravioli was excellent. The sauce was excellent. The flavor and the subtle sweetness of the crab shined through. My wife's steak bowl was also amazing. The steak was melt in your mouth tender. A very subtle heat in the seasoning from red chili, I believe. Chefs kiss. Our server was amazing and I feel horrible for not remembering her name, the woman who was working the front area was helpful and knowledgeable and just very welcoming.
