Here is what we noticed: - We ordered our pizza by phone...trying to find a web site was impossible, and every menu posted online was out of date. - I drove over at around 6pm in the dark and actually passed the place because the only lighted sign was the "Open" sign in the window...the signage for the shop was not lit up at all. - After waiting a few minutes, I got my pizza and drove home. As other reviewers have noted, there are several tables inside the shop, but it doesn't look like they allow/encourage/enable (??) eating on site. - We had ordered a half Margarita and a half Meat large pizza. The pizza was thin crust and while it was tasty, the toppings are bit skimpy in my opinion, e.g., the meat pizza was mostly pepperoni with scattered bits of sausage and non-existent amounts of ham. - Spent about $30 once tax included. Bottom line: Sadly, we will have to continue our search for a local pizza place...

I have dined at Distasio's off and on for many years starting when they were down on the Embarcadero, then up on the hill and now up on the Boulevard. I used to get the Chicken Fettucine Alfredo and wasn't impressed by the sauce. Later I started ordering the Tortellini Carbonara, with a cream sauce and little bits of ham and peas. This is my go-to dish now. I also like their mozzarella sticks. I have found their bread options hit and miss, although this last batch of cheese bread was great!! I often order from Door Dash but the last time I went in I couldn't find my tortellini dish. The gal at the restaurant told me it is still there, I will have to look again. Most recently I took some family members to dinner here and they enjoyed their dishes. So, my rating is back up to 4 stars. I will most likely return here, wish they had Gnocchi.

There's no dedicated parking but there's plenty of street parking around the area. The restaurant is located on the second floor of a building with windows facing the ocean, so the name was very fitting. A lot of the seats allowed guests a nice view of the outside/ocean. We were able to get a window seat and was able to enjoy a nice sunset view and take lots of photos by their balcony area. We ordered the halibut, black cod, cioppino, dungeness crab cake, mixed greens and all the dishes were all decent but I can't say I was blown away by any of them. The dishes were on the pricier side as well. Overall the service was good and they were attentive with checking in on us and refilling the water. The only surprising thing about the place was that there was an additional 3% fee on credit card transactions which they apparently indicate on their menu (which I missed), and the waiter didn't mention either, so I was taken back when I saw it on the bill. While I understand they're trying to offset their costs, it is pretty rare these days and I wish the waiter gave us a heads up. Overall, the view was great and the food was decent.

Unfortunately, their sandwiches are about the same - at least the one I try. I ordered a turkey on a roll with lettuce, cheese, and mayo. The bread was still SO DRY that I couldn't like the sandwich at all. I did order a small pizza and a hotdog. These are new to the menu since I was there last. After waiting an incredibly long amount of time to get my order, I was at least happy with the pizza and hot dog. Glad to have a hot dog option next to the theatre so I can sneak one in!! I ordered extra cheese on the pizza but I didn't need to. I am happy to upgrade my star rating to 3-stars for those two new items. I am picky about the bread for my sandwiches and honestly the only one I liked was when you had the sliced wheat bread option available one day as a fluke. I will go to Mr. Pickles for my sandwiches from now on, but I might stop in for a pizza or a dog.
