They replaced the pizzas multiple times while we were there, and staff went above and beyond to check on us and make sure we were satisfied. The salad bar was well-stocked, and ingredients were fresh as expected. Only thing knocking down a star was that the chicken wings were tiny (although well-seasoned), and the pizza sauce and crust were a bit plain (sauce was tart--I prefer salt & garlic)--this could be a factor of buffet recipe vs individual pizza orders. A little cracked pepper and ranch fixed that though. Dining room was clean and comfortable; music playing seemed like it was ky old playlist, and not too loud. Kids enjoyed their food and time. Avoid this place at all costs. It's run so poorly it's honestly unbelievable. No offense, but the staff seemed completely miserable. We were there for over an hour and only received our drinks. This has got to be one of the biggest and most interactive Round Table locations in Fresno. The lighting is perfect and classy, they have a beer wall with a large selection that's kept clean and tidy, an arcade area for the kids, a party room available for reservations, and a lunch buffet throughout the week. This place has it all. We went this last time for a birthday party in their reservable party room. The only thing I didn't like about the party room was that we only had 30 minutes to set up the entire party and only like an hour to actually host the party because of how they schedule and stack their parties. Not cool. Needs working on. Other than that, though, the room is nice and has plenty of tables. It's located conveniently right next to the arcade room so your guests can go back and forth with ease and not have to disturb other guests like some locations are. The room also has two large doors that can remain open or be shut for complete privacy and then an extra side door for more discreet in and outs for the arcade. Once the pizza orders were placed, they all came out relatively quick and piping HOT. The pizza was super delicious and extra cheesy. The cheese pull off the pizza was insane and left me wanting more after each bite. The pizza also wasn't overly greasy, so it wasn't dripping all over like some pizzas do. The pizza was perfect. It fed all the guests, and we still had some leftover to take home. It's best to have some coupons, though, if you can, because their pizza is a bit pricey. But def worth it! I have yet to try the beer wall because I'm not a huge drinker, but just being in the presence of the beer wall almost made me change my mind. Went to Round table at first n Bullard to meet some people. My wife n I ordered a medium pepperoni n sausage pizza, 2 Salads, 2 sodas ($42 before tip) and this is what we got. One of the worst finished pizzas I have ever seen. I did not send it back because it would have just been thrown away n didn't want to waste food. I did however tell the girl to let the cook know this was a horribly made pie. Toppings so uneven, sparse, two pieces basically no cheese n another two half I cheese. Easily the worst pizza I've ever had. And after I stated it was horribly made, but kept it to not waste, there was no reply, no sorry, nothing. Our group used to overload this place and bring in serious business weekly but obviously they don't care, and the cook truly couldn't care less what he/she puts out based on this wreck. No pride at all. Be sure to send your pizza back and have them make it properly if you get one of these wastes of money. I never really had a complaint on this location. Its the only Round Table Pizza I've been to in Fresno. I've never seen it too packed and they've never been rude as far as I'm concerned. Today there was a mix up on my order and another customers which I know wasn't intended but they choose to take back all the food that we already began to eat which would be my only complaint besides that the food is good and the atmosphere's is usually always clean and quite when I come which is usually the evenings. read more

First time ever ordering a pizza from this location and we did so because it had decent reviews on Google and because of where it was located in proximity to the area where my husband was at the time. Sadly, this is the worst Round Table pizza we have ever ordered. One thing about Round Table that we've always appreciated for franchised pizza place is that they all have the same consistent and reliable recipe. This pizza wasn't anything like any other Round Table pizza we've ever ordered from. It was very thin and when you picked up a piece it was incredibly limp and had no structure in the crust at all, it just flopped down. It took much longer than the projected pick up time and that had to be mainly because there were only two people working in the entire restaurant. Clearly understaffed, which in my opinion is a result of poor management. My husband, who picked up the pizza, felt really bad for the two young ladies who were working there, as they were clearly overwhelmed. Came here for linner earlier today. Being a Tuesday at 4pm, we were the only people in the dining room for quite some time. But the staff was incredibly congenial and the pizza came out fast, so we barely noticed. The pizza is kind of expensive but it was pretty good for a national chain. The crust had great texture. The salad bar was a little sad, some of the stuff looked like it had been out a while, but nothing was slimy or anything. However, it's $8.99 for one trip only, so it could probably have been a little fresher. Or cheaper. Or all you can eat. There's a lot of routes they could take to make the salad bar seem like a good choice, but they are currently taking none of them. Then there's the beer wall. Much like at blast and brew, and me n Ed's, it's very overpriced, but unlike those places with self serve beer walls (side note: why is it more expensive to serve yourself when they are not paying for a bartender?), their beer selection was extremely basic. Few craft beers & mostly standards. Kind of disappointing for me, as I like the "pay by the ounce" set up because I can try a lot of beers with little risk, even though I know I'm paying too much for it. It seems like Round Table has fallen to unfettered capitalism, where quality and customer service take a back seat in the name of profit, which inevitably leads to the business becoming crappy. Ordering by phone goes to a call center in India, which results in them giving timelines for delivery/pick-up that might not reflect the reality of what is going on at the specific location. But hey, why have enough staffing to run the restaurant effectively when you can save a few bucks by paying people in Bangalore to take all the orders for the entire chain? The website is no better, as their system also doesn't reflect how busy they may be at any given time. I've had a 20 minute estimate for pick-up become a 90 minute ordeal. On occasions where wait time isn't an issue, the overall quality of the food has also taken a hit. I don't know if this is because they're using lower-quality ingredients, not giving their employees the resources they need to be successful (whether that's adequate staffing or simply decent treatment), or cutting corners in other ways; regardless they've gone from what I considered to be a top-tier pizza place to something not worth spending the money on. It should be noted that I've never had a bad experience with the actual employees at this location. They've always been kind and helpful (as well as apologetic when insane delays have occurred). I just think they're stuck between a rock and a hard place (following the crappy rules of their employer or not having a job) Maybe someone from corporate, the franchise owner, or the store manager will see this and feel the slightest pang of guilt about this. The workers aren't disrespectful but they need to double check with whose orders it is. I've told them that my was the Hawaiian and gave them my receipt. Then they ask for the pizza back. They might as well just give it to me since it's going to the trash. I ask the other customers that was here before me to check if their order was the one that they gave to me, and he said yes. A few years ago, we had our daughter's eighth-grade graduation in the large banquet room. We had a great experience. However last month when we went on a Friday evening, I was sadly disappointed. The overall cleanliness wasn't the same. The glasses for the bar were dirty. A majority of the beers on taps wines were empty or non-functioning. There wasn't silverware out for the salad bar. When asked for clean pieces, they handed us plastic... while an employee stated. She didn't want to have to wash them later. We ordered a vegetarian pizza that was brought out with chicken. The young man that delivered it to our table argued with us that if we wanted a vegetarian pizza, we needed to order it next time without the chicken! Eventually, he did take it back and remake it... reminding us to order it correctly next time. Avoid this place! I went there before noon on a Saturday with my grandson and ordered a personal cheese pizza and a small supreme. After waiting over 30 minutes I went to see when the pizzas would be ready. The man at the counter said "Well we're really busy." I said ,"Yes you are, but when I came in a half an hour ago, you were not.". He asked to see my receipt. He then said he would check and went to the back. A few moments later he said it would be about 20 minutes.. I repeated 30 minutes and he said, "See, we cook our pizza by size not the time you order and all these people ordered big pizzas so your order keeps getting pushed back." So I asked for my money back. He said ok and another man came and issued me a refund. NO ONE APOLOGIZED. I left and will NEVER be back....Me and Ed's is just on the opposite side of the parking lot.
