I love this place! We were shopping in Concord and stopped here to avoid commute traffic before traveling to Brentwood. The customer service is great. Shane took our order and was friendly and professional. The pizza was so good and the salad bar was well stocked and fresh. We never order from Round Table in Brentwood. We used to, but the pizza never tastes that good and the only way to get a lot of toppings is to pay extra for more. We will definitely be traveling to Concord for our pizza fix. A few min later, the cashier calls me back indicating that my debit card indicated an error. I repeated my info & all was well. Around 9pm, I realized I hadn't received my order. It was a late night trip. The food is expensive, the salad bar was surprising fresh though. The pizza is decent. The people working there looked and acted very unprofessional. They answered a phone call while taking our order, which ended up being their friend and had a conversation with us standing at the counter. I grew up with round table and it always used to be one of my favorites... I'm not too big on any other pizza except round table... But lately, it seems that every round table I go to has given me extra thin crust, barely any sauce and way too much cheese!... It just seems that they've lowered their standards and start to taste like all the rest of the cheap pizza brands/food chains.. The sauce was always the best part and the regular crust was delicious... Lately it's been paper thin and the toppings have become extra scarce! ... This particular location has poor quality of pizza more often than not. They either use too much dough, red sauce or cheese. I ordered a small pepperoni last Friday night Nov. 3 and I got enough dough and cheese for a large pizza. I have been ordering from this location for years. They have absolutely lost our patronage. We ordered two pizzas a few weeks ago and one was wrong. No big deal it happens. I called and was told we could have another sent out or a credit for future medium. I said fine I'll order in future. We called tonight and spoke to manager and ordered the pizza and a family salad. We were told they couldn't do that as their min charge for delivery was 15 so I'd pay 15 for the salad. I said that doesn't make sense. I asked if you had brought out right pizza after I called would I need to pay 15 dollars? She replied no but since I waited we need to order min of 15 dollars and salad was less so needed to pay 15. I told her I would never order or use them again. Poor customer service as initial problem was on their end anyway. We discussed this a few times and her logic was absolutely flawed. If you want people to continue to use you even with a minor mistake then you need to make good on your promises. This was by far one of the WORST experiences I've had at any restaurant. We ordered with a coupon online, and everything was fine, and then we went to go pick it up and our order was wrong. We didn't get our 2 liter, the pizza was the wrong size, and we were charged extra instead of them using the coupon. Decided to try this round table for dinner on a Friday night. Made an online order and showed up right when it was supposed to be ready. Waited in line for more than 10 minutes while onIy one customer was being helped. Then when it was my turn they realised that my order was never "put in" and that they would make it as quick as possible. I then ask for a discount for having to wait. We go weekly for a small meeting we attend. We always get THE BEST service, and the pizza is delicious. I have been to many 4-star restaurants where I was not treated nearly so well as by the staff at this Round Table. They are friendly, fast, helpful, and everything a good wait staff should be. Some weeks it's just a quiet place to meet and talk, but some weeks there is a party atmosphere, which can be very fun. The main problem I have is that they don't always have a pizza I can eat, being a vegetarian. The last time I asked though, I looked down and the lady was slicing one. When I noticed this, I said "Oh", or something like that. I ordered my pizza online for the first time, and the process was confusing! I waited and waited for the progress meter online to tell me that the pizza was finished. So after thirty minutes of waiting I went in to see if my pizza was ready. It actually was. As I went in to pick it up, there was a young girl behind the counter who didn't smile once the entire time I was in there. I assumed she was a shift manager because her shirt was a different color than the rest of the crew. Her name was Bri (?), and you could clearly tell that either she didn't want to be there or she was on drugs or something. The whole time she was acting like she was stoned! The lady in front of me had ordered a beer, and Bri (?) had a difficult time filling the cup up at the tap because she was acting a little out of it. She acted cold to me and, frankly, a little bitchy. Who not only hires these people, but also puts them in charge? Awful customer service! So after I got my pizza, the box was warm, but when I got home, it was lukewarm, and I only live about a mile away. I deducted that they had probably taken it out about 10-15 minutes before I came to pick it up, and their program online was innaccurate. I am hesitate to write this review cause I am giving away a hidden gem. This is the all around nicest Round Table I have ever visited. We like the pizza at round table and like to order it most of the time when we are getting pizza. This location is LARGE, CLEAN and , because it is located in a big strip mall , has EASY and lots of PARKING! The service was fast and accurate. This visit we ordered pick up that we ordered through the Web site. The pizzas were ready when promised and made correctly. The best part of the visit was the staff. Every person with whom we interacted was so nice it ready was a great pizza going experence. which is nice considering that as fast food pizza goes round table is on the more expencive side. Every time I order from this RTP there is an issue. The food is under cooked (raw dough) or delivery time is close to 2 hours when I had been told 45-60 min. This last time they completely forgot about my order for delivery. Almost 2 hours later I called to inquire about it and after a few employees picked up the phone and placed me back on hold the manager got on the line and said I must have sent my online order to a different RTP. 3 times someone different got on the phone and said my order must have been sent somewhere else..... 15 minutes on hold and I'm still on hold for these people to get it together and figure out how to fix this. read more
