I stopped in to get a pizza at Roundtable on Greenback and Sunrise. It was an unplanned stop. I was greeted as soon as I walked in. I ordered a King Arthur to go. The lady that took my order was very personable and so helpful. She accommodated my exceptions (light on the sauce and regular crust). She also advised me about any current discounts and coupons. My order was ready in about 15 minutes. I was so impressed with the guy that brought my pizza out. He showed it to me to confirm what I ordered before I took it. The place was pretty active with several customers as they were just finishing the lunchtime buffet of salad and a variety of pizzas. I would like to try the buffet sometime in the near future. The buffet is from 11am to 2pm weekdays and only $14.99 for adults and $9.99 for kids. What a great deal if you hv kids out of school for summer break or just want salad and a few different varieties of pizza. There are video games and tvs. The atmosphere was generally lively and very welcoming. Overall my visit was excellent! The pizza was deeeeellliiicious! I was so hungry I neglected to take any pictures. The next time I visit, I will take pics to post with this review. read more

Ran in for a personal size pizza and a salad to go. Salad bar had all the good options. Was given two small containers for dressing and a bag to put everything in. The lady who brought out my pizza made sure that it was what I wanted. Staff was very sweet and helpful. Love it here! read more

Good customer service the old-fashioned way! I've been to this Round Table location several times and have had a consistently good experience each and every time. When you walk in, you're actually greeted with a genuine smile. The same is true when exiting; staff bids you farewell and to have a nice day. That's almost unheard of these days. Additionally, when you call to order a pizza to be delivered or for pickup, they actually answer the phone instead of you having to go through a call center. The food is delicious and they're one of the only locations to have the lunch buffet. Hallelujah! The decor for this location has a modern and friendly vibe, too. Almost a pub type feel. Needless to say, I won't be going to any other Round Table location in the Sacramento area for my pizza needs. Keep up the great work guys! read more

Let me start by saying I love the pizza. It's always delicious and delivered in a reasonable time. However, I just ordered a large King Arthur supreme and a large pepperoni (pepperoni on special) and it was $90.00! I'm sorry round table, your pizza is good but not that good. You have officially priced me out of your pizza. Absolutely ridiculous prices for pizza. read more

Tonight, there was a hiccup with my DoorDash order. The owner Marc, was kind enough to listen to the issue, investigate, and do the right thing for the customer, even though it was an additional expense for him. For this, he has gained my loyalty. The replacement pizza was excellent. I definitely recommend this location and more importantly, the people within. read more

Very good customer service, a clean location and overall good vibes. Sadly the pizza was not. We spent $80+ on a couple pizzas and garlic twists. The chicken garlic was decent, lacked a bit of flavor, but was edible. The twists had no garlic and tastes like nothing. The real problem came with the double play pepperoni stuffed crust. The dough was raw. They took it out way too soon. Saw a bunch of kids making the pizzas so I assume they just rushed it as it was Father's day and they were busy. We won't be eating the pepperoni and will hopefully reach out for a refund or store credit to give this location another chance. Overall a pretty bad experience, minus the very nice employees at the register, to the older ladies who helped me, thank you! read more

Love the location and employees, lots of local kids doing good work! The ownership has been a staple in the community for years and for good reason. My only pizza place, never a bad experience, quality pies and lots of weekly specials! read more

This restaurant has consistently good food. The crusts are always tender and fluffy. They are never dried out. I prefer the deeper dish crust. We always get the to go order. It holds up to multiple toppings and the transport. Points! Their sauce is strong on tomato flavor. Also has garlic in it. YUM. I NEVER HAVE ANY COMPLAINTS. read more

I had been craving RTP for several months. Maybe more than a year. I didn't cave to my cravings because every time I looked at the menu prices, I'd balk and order a lower priced competitor (but not the lowest of the low) pizza. The RTP of my childhood was very fond - delicious pizza. A couple of weeks ago I received a mailer that shared some locations offer customer reward night 50% off on Mondays (L or XL take out or dine in only). This location partakes. I ordered a large pepperoni. OTD $15.61 + tip. If regular price, I wouldn't purchase as the quality wasn't up to snuff for me. Taste was mediocre, the dough bubbled up and left bare patches, sauce didn't have much flavor, and pepperoni was not abundant. Service from everyone was kind and jubilant. While a busy night, my pizza was ready in about 20 minutes. I will say that the cashier was visually downtrodden when the tip wasn't a generous amount. I'm just coming off a very difficult time and this is take-out, I can't tip much in this circumstance. I think the owner's story is rad. I wish I loved the flavor because then I could afford to eat the Monday night special from time to time. However, it doesn't do it for me. read more

Sorry not real pizza too expensive. I'm from NYC and this pizza taste like frozen pizza. Sorry ! Not for me. Gave it chance. California style is not a hit. California pizza kitchen tried bringing that to NY and they had to close. Sorry I had to say the truth. I know there's a difference in styles of pizza. The pizza here tastes like frozen pizza. Styles is one thing taste is another. Sorry not good. read more

We went on half off Monday. Boy oh boy does it get super busy. Which I'm glad for them but it can be a bit crowded. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Made us feel welcomed. The salad bar was stocked and filled with delicious things. Pepsi product soda bar. Tvs with sports game on in the back area. We enjoyed that they had an aracdey section. Pizza came out pretty fast and delicious. Would go back but maybe get take out on Monday nights. read more

Come here often for lunch & they never disappoint! Great quality food & awesome service from the team. I appreciate the monday deals they offer (50% off of large or XL pizzas) They also serve beer and other alcoholic options if you're in need of a little pick me up on the side. Highly recommend dropping by this location read more

I feel like I have been writing a lot of 5 star reviews lately and I think it comes down to the quality of the food and service I have been receiving. Things are looking up in the food industry, what a great way to start off the new year on a high note, including our visit yesterday at Round Table Pizza! From potato and macaroni salad, fresh fruit, veggies, spinach and mixed salad with a variety of dressings, this is an extensive salad bar! They have Garlic Parmesan and Cinnamon Twists and a variety of pizza slices available so you can have a little bit of everything. The pizza was good and cheesy, twists freakin amazing and my salad mm yes I piled it high and enjoyed the variety of toppings provided! My boyfriend and toddler enjoyed their meals as well! I would definitely recommend this location, the staff are sweet and made sure to continue to bring out hot and fresh pizza pies! My toddler, boyfriend and I had a great lunch to kick off the new year, Happy 2020! What brought us in was the bogo lunch buffet coupon that came in the mail, great deal and my toddler was free since she was 2! Their first location was in Menlo Park, California in the year 1959 and they have been making hand-crafted pizza pies ever since! Sign up for their rewards program via text, email, Five Star or look out for their add in the mail! Located conveniently near the grocery, kid's clothing and pet store I frequent, we'll definitely be back! read more

Been to this location 4 or 5 times this year for the salad bar and personal pizza lunch deal. Great ingredients on the salad bar each time. Amanda the manager is fantastic. She runs this place like a Army Tank Commander. She communicates with her employees, helps get orders out, helps make orders and is very friendly to everyone who walks in the doors. Rare to see such passion these days. read more

Round Table Pizza - Salad bar from a booth - Pizza Near Me - Citrus Heights, California

Been coming to this location for years. Employees really hussle and do an amazing job. The quality of the pizza has gone down hill. At 1/2 price the pizza is $25 but is just awful. Tried multiple times thinking it was just a one off but no it's officially terrible. read more

My friends and I have been reviewing every pizza place in Sacramento in search of some hidden gems and to see who has the best food in town. Our journey has led us to Round Table Pizza which personally is the pizza of my childhood. I haven't had it in about 8 years because Round Table always had the reputation of being so expensive. I was definitely excited to try it now that I've got a more experienced palate for pizza and to see if it lived up to my childhood memory. To start, when we first arrived it was dead. There was 1 employee who was cooking the pizza, charged us out, and everything. It seemed really slow which is probably why there was only 1 worker but she looked bored out of her mind. I would be too if I had nobody to talk to while working. When we walked in she was on her phone, looked at us, went back to looking at her phone, boxed the pizza, and then went back to her phone while we just stood waiting there. It had been about 5 minutes since we walked in and she asked us what we wanted and we said we had a pickup order. she charged us out grabbed a bunch of peppers and parmesan with her bare hands she just accepted change with and then threw the packets inside the box onto the pizza. Service was definitely a 0/10 and if we ever want Round Table, we've decided we'll be going to a different location. As for the pizza, it was 21$ before tipping, and yes we did still tip after all of that but thinking back on it I probably shouldn't have. The quality of the pizza was meh. It had that same roundtable pizza taste I always liked, but the crust has definitely gotten super thick over the years. There are also so many air pockets in the pizza and crust that it really takes away from the sauce and cheese. It seems like the quality has really gone down and we were quite disappointed because this means 7-11 had a higher rated pizza than Round Table which feels wrong. But we have to rate it on what we received. When we rate places it's always out of 10, and a 5/10 means it's as average as it gets. Anything lower than 5 is worse than average while anything higher is better than average. Round table gets a 6.5/10 for the price. It's fairly affordable which surprised me after having grown up hearing it's so expensive. As for flavor we gave it an average of 4.5/10. Flavor is slightly worse than other pizza places, and price is slightly better which leaves is with an overall 5.5/10 for Round Table. It hurts me to write this, but I have to be honest with what was received. read more

This place needs to be sanitized top to bottom very nasty. Gross apearing workers. Charged me $1.25 to pay for our food, no notice at all or cash option offered, not good. Everything had a film of grease in it not clean, Generally dirty.... Don't go there !!!! read more

I went for the lunch that included a personal pan pizza and a salad. The salad and pizza were very good. What was concerning to me was that the cook had longish hair and the very strong fan was blowing his hair in all different directions as he prepared the pizzas As strong as the fan was, his hair had to be all over that food he was preparing. I did not see this until after I had eaten. read more

Fantastic deals on Monday nights. Pizza is delicious. My only complaint was that the young man on the phone told me it would be 30 minutes. After I arrived, and had waited in line to pay, it was still another 30 minutes. I don't mind waiting. If it's going to be an hour, then tell me it'll be an hour. read more

Round table has always been a staple my entire life and i'm glad that they have always been so consistent. This is the best round table pizza! Always get a hot pizza with the best ingredients.. my pizza go to!

Ordered online, 2 large and one extra large. Also breadsticks. My order was to be picked up at 5:15pm on a Monday (50% off) and it was Halloween. There were a ton of people in line and waiting. I walked right by everyone to the register and the young lady helped me right away since I pre ordered. 1. All my food was fresh, hot and ready exactly on time 2. The girl who helped me at the register and the one who gave me my food were nice, happy and not at all stressed over how busy they were! Yet all the employees were hustling to get everything done. I loved that. 3. Pizzas were yummy and everyone at my party grubbed read more

I just had the most awkward RTP experience and I assure you I will never be returning to this location or quite possibly any RTP for that matter as there are other higher quality options in my area... I ordered my 2 personal pizzas, 1 order of garlic twists and a "small" salad online for $36 and PAID online for my order. (As anyone would do in this tech driven era post COVID-19/ Contactless pick ups/purchases) Upon my arrival it was requested I show my ID or my card that I used for my ONLINE order. I guess they have a lot of fraud issues picking up pizzas? Last I checked pizza dough and sauce was practically free so anyways... it's 2021 I use Apple Pay for everything and unless you're a law authority I'm not pulling out my ID? It's already paid here's my EMAIL RECEIPT and CONFIRMATION of the $36 in feed I just ordered.. Smh ‍ ANYWAYS that awkward transaction aside I get home with my food and I'm looking over my order it looked correct but then I got to my salad... my salad was $9 alone and for some reason my lettuce was wilting and brown? The salad container was marked 5/20? So I guess it's normal to serve yesterday's salads? Well I'm 3 months pregnant and the thought of getting food poisoning from IMPROPER food handling doesn't sound like something I want to be dealing with in my current circumstances... so I called and spoke with the "supervisor on duty" and she said "so and so prepared the salads at the end of their shift yesterday.." and that I could "bring the salad back" lol.... okayyyy so you can't provide me and EFT refund of my $9 but I can get in my car drive back down there and give you the wilted salad back for what? So I can potentially get another salad that was prepared YESTERDAY? No thank you. Never again will I spend my money or time at this particular location and like I said the whole brands quality has been in decline for years so, maybe never again will I pick up over priced pizza and nasty salads ever again. Thank you though for the inconvenience read more
