Round 1 is an arcade on steroids--massive, loud, and insanely fun. It's like a casino for kids (although there is a bar for adults too). The games range from DDR and Galaga to VR, skee-ball, and endless claw machines, but they burn through credits fast, so pace yourself! The bowling is pretty upscale, with comfy seating, slick lanes, and rental shoes that don't feel like torture devices. Add bumpers by tapping a checkbox on the touchscreen. So cool. Even the food is solid, with burgers, pizza, and a Japanese menu. Tucked in a mall corner, it feels like its own world, and the friendly staff keeps the vibe fun. We came for our 10-year-old but had just as much fun--just bring a budget!

First time here and I didn't know what to expect. They have lots of activities in here: claw machines, bowling, arcade games, and food+drinks. One of the few places that open super late. I can't say the claw machines were easy but was able to snag a couple of keychains! The employees are super nice and will adjust anything that makes it impossible to get the prize.

I am as much of a casual round one connoisseur as one could be living on the east coast of the US, meaning I've been to 3 of them. Out of the 3 I've gone too, this one is my least favorite. I'm giving 3 stars because I still had fun, but spent less time in here than any other round one. TLDR: prices are higher than normal in my experience, so spent more money and stayed for less time. It's not bad, the machines are well kept and it has a variety of them. It was a standard size for a round one. I always come for the crane games and to try out Japanese rhythm games I've never played before and it had those for me. I never do the bowling or eat the food in them, so I can't say anything about either of those. My biggest complaint was the price of everything. It was more expensive than either round one I've been to before for each crane game. I honestly spent an absurd amount of money here in one hour than I spent at any other round one for a full day. There also just wasn't as many good prizes in either the crane games or the winnings area. I kept the points on my card to go to a different prize center in a different round one. Prizes are subjective of course, but if you want fun anime stuff or cute plushies, just wasn't as many good ones here. There is also a store in the mall that this is located with a lot of anime figures and plush, but it's a much less fun way to go about getting that!

This was a lifesaver because we were in town for an event at the Mass Mutual Center, and couldn't wait for that long. The staff at both Theodore's and Smith's were incredibly helpful and friendly. We sat at a high top, listened to some retro tunes, drank some wine and dined on incredible barbecue!! We ordered the baby back ribs and cheddar/jalapeño sausage. Both were so flavorful, juicy, and plentiful!! For the sides, my husband and I each ordered the waffle fries and the mac and cheese. The fries were crisp and the mac was creamy, even though it wasn't baked. We enjoyed their barbecue sauces and hot sauce at the table. The food definitely earned an A+. The prices were reasonable too. My husband and I are already trying to find more reasons to go up to Springfield so we can eat there. Neither of us are into billiards, but there were plenty of people playing games. Check it out!!

I am a 5' young woman and I admittedly made the mistake of sitting on a pool table to make my shot since I couldn't reach due to my height. Right after I get down (ten seconds later) the comedian (a tall, large male) starts yelling at me. I have never played pool in a bar before so I didn't know that they were strict about that sort of thing, but I immediately apologized. Less than a minute later a woman (presumably a manager) yells at me again and I apologize again. THEN the comedian announces to the entire bar what happened and starts making fun of me, even though I did nothing at all to provoke him. My boyfriend and friends who were there too stood up for me and the comedian starts yelling at them too. I try to calmly explain what happened but the woman just screams for us to leave or else she'll call the cops. Mind you, this is all because I made the mistake of sitting on a pool table for ten seconds to make my shot. I'm a tiny 5' woman who by no means would have damaged the table and I apologized immediately and didn't argue one bit until they started attacking my friends. All in all, I was baffled by this experience as the staff reacted as if I had maliciously attacked someone with a pool cue rather than the reality. Also as we were willingly leaving, I tried to close the door behind me since I was the last one out but the comedian slammed it back open, hitting my leg. Safe to say I will not be returning to this establishment.

Unfortunately, everything else about the visit was disappointing. My husband and I came here to celebrate my birthday, and it was also our first time visiting since recently moving to Massachusetts. When we arrived around 10:30 PM, we went to purchase tokens for the arcade games. At that time, we were told we should buy all the tokens we wanted immediately because token service would be closing in about 20 minutes. This seemed unusual considering the business advertises closing at 2:00 AM. I mentioned that we could simply use the self-service machines later if needed, but we were told those might also be shut down soon due to being short staffed. We then decided we would just get drinks and bowl instead, but we were informed that the bartender would also be leaving shortly. When I said we would just order drinks right away, we were then told the bartender was currently on break. At this point, I was confused and frustrated because we had called the business only a couple of minutes before arriving and were not told that services would be shutting down early. We had specifically planned our evening based on the posted hours. Another staff member kindly offered to sell us bottled drinks but explained he could not make cocktails until the bartender returned. While purchasing those drinks, we were also told that lane purchases would be closing soon due to the same staffing issue. At that point, we decided to just pay for two games of bowling and end the night early since it seemed like multiple services were shutting down. After we started bowling, the bartender returned from break. When I finished my drink and went to the bar to order a mixed drink, I stood there waiting for some time. The bartender made eye contact with me, but then proceeded to serve another guest who had just walked up after me. I found this frustrating and ultimately decided not to order anything further. I understand that staffing shortages happen and that employees can have difficult shifts. However, the lack of communication about services closing early and the overall experience made what was meant to be a special birthday outing very disappointing--especially as a first experience at this establishment. I hope this was an isolated situation, but based on this visit, I unfortunately would not recommend it.
