Dirty , gross ! Had to wipe seats off , no coffee available , popcorn served from a big glass showcase not from machine .

Acceptable soon-to-be-dead-mall movie theater with only six screens but decent reasonably modern stadium seating and projection. Refillable tub of popcorn is $10.25 compared to $6.25 at the Bow Tie in downtown Schenectady, matinee ticket prices are $6.50 which is only a slight bargain compared to the chains and not at all compared to Bow Tie, and the restrooms are more than a tad inconvenient, tucked in the lobby (although not the worst I've seen by any means). Throw in a weird mall location (far from the food court, by a cavernous empty fountain) and it's not really a destination movie location but one I'm willing to endure if a convenient showtime pops up.

    What a nice place!!

This is a very good theater! It has great popcorn and service. I would recommend. They also had a huge variety of different kinds of foods!

Concession was as expected and littered with different current movie swag to take home. There are always great promotions going on here and fun things like mystery movie nights and bringing back old classics to enjoy on the big screen! Def keep an eye on their rotation! Thanks for a great experience! :) Almost forgot: only critique is the drink carriers need improvement. Each carrier only holds two drinks and the handle is impossible to reach comfortably. It was super clunky to distribute in the theater too(glad I didn't drop any fumbling around) I was told you have to hold it from the bottom anyway because they're not to be trusted so i ended up just hugging the drinks anyway since i was carrying 4 plus popcorn haha.

There is a curb cut and auto-doors. There is an escalator there in the center of the building not far away, but a little farther away in center is a silver door with an elevator to take you right to the 3rd floor. Escalator requires a longer walk, as you have to take one staircase, then walk a bit to get on the 2nd escalator. Elevator opens to you being right at the ticket & snack area on the 3rd floor. LOTS of accessible seating in the theaters, but a light blanket might be needed as it's chilly. Women's bathrooms have 2 accessible stalls, but tile floors which might be slippery for some. Wide hallway in bathroom.

YOU HAVE TO PAY $7 TO BRING YOUR OWN FOOD IN. THEY ARE NOT PUTTING THEIR MONEY BACK INTO THIS PLACE. IT'S REALLY REALLY SAD. I'VE NEVER LEFT DRIVE-IN THEATER EARLY OR LEFT A REVIEW BUT I FEEL IT'S VERY IMPORTANT ESPECIALLY FOR PEOPLE ON VACATION NOT TO GO HERE. This is an honest review & this IS important to me. If I could give them zero I would honestly. I have NEVER LEFT TO DRIVE IN EARLY BEFORE. My husband and I went on vacation here to see 28 Years Later & Till Dawn. We still have not seen Till Dawn! . There were people that were like actors, I guess, they were supposed to look like they were infected, like 28 Years Later. It was a cute idea but it was aggravating because they would interrupt you during the movie. Not scary. It was $24 for 2 people so why would you want people to bother you during this? We purchased our tickets ahead of time & on arrival realized it was a very long line of cars down the highway. We of course waited in line but other people that drove up were just cutting the other cars. We obviously didn't want a problem so we spoke up but didn't make a big thing of it. There were no staff saying anything so by the time we got in there we ended up very far back. My husband has Parkinson's & for him having people approach at least 4X each is not okay. He starts shaking if irritated, aggravated & we didn't know they would be doing that & no one said anything at the gate about it. It was very strange. Nowadays it seems sketchy because all it takes is 1 really crazy person to really cause damage or worse. I wish it was 1998 still but it is 2025 & there are more people, more physical, neurological & psychological conditions & this IS NOT SAFE. Taking advantage of people by charging $7 more to bring a bottle of water from home is NOT RIGHT, NOT OKAY & NOT AMERICAN. Please go to Lake George Drive-in if looking for one. Maybe a further drive, depending on where you are staying but worth it. Thank you for reading my review. Blessings

No summer is complete without a trip to the Malta Drive-In. Admission is $12/adults and $6/kids…read more You have to pay a fee of $7 if you choose to bring any outside food or beverages. There are two screens and movies start at dusk. Make sure you park as close to the silver pole as possible, because they try to jam as many cars in as possible. The food/drink at the snack bar is dirt cheap, although the popcorn is a little stale, and the soda a little flat. If you want to sit outside of your car, you can pay $5 to get a boom box so you can hear the movie. The staff at the Drive-In is incredibly nice and helpful. The Drive-in itself has a charming old-timey feel. The ads and intermission videos are the ones from the 1950's.
