We live in…read moreNYC and have happily saved our quarters and made the drive many times to play in the classic arcade (and visit Oblong books and Pizzeria Posto) so were were SHOCKED to find out they have replaced the arcade with a tabletop game cafe. The games cafe was empty except for the nice guy trying to interest people in playing games. All the fantastic pinball machines are GONE. The only game left was a video "Simpson's" game. My son played with the other kids whose family made an hour + trip with a bag of quarters. It was such a disappointment. Pretty please use your Megabrains to bring back pinball!

The go carts are a standout and lots of fun for children and adults that still think they are children (like myself).

Other than a few bar patrons, the place was practically empty. A grumpy gentleman greeted us, seemingly disappointed we had interrupted his quiet night. The facility was clearly showing its age, which we chose to interpret as nostalgic charm rather than lack of upkeep. We bowled a couple games and ultimately enjoyed our visit. Over the course of the evening, the gentleman running the shop watched us intently and promptly assisted whenever the pins were stuck or the ball return needed repair. His disposition improved - perhaps he was thankful to put his services to use. The cost to bowl 2 games for 2 people with shoe rental was about $42...$8/game + $5 shoe rental. It felt a bit expensive, but ultimately, I was happy to give them my patronage as I know I'd be saddened if these small town bowling alleys disappear.

But Roger shared with him his many years of knowledge. Tonight I'm seeing Terminator 2 and total recall. Along with new releases they are planning to do more retro movies this season so that's great. Everything at the snack bar is delicious cheeseburgers mozzarella sticks french fries popcorn. Make sure to get something at the concession stand when you come in. Because 60 to 70% of each dollar taken in at the box office Goes right back to the studios.
