Great movie theater. Old time feel, all modern equipment with great DTS sound! The best part is the price. Highly recommended

Love this place... Even has the same candy I used to eat... Don't know why the Park is here but I'm always glad it is.

The workers are very rude and as soon as you walk in the door you are overwhelmed with the smell of stale cigarette smoke. Nasty.

We had their loaded fries which is topped with a homemade sweet n tangy meat sauce. Not bad. A Philly cheesesteak. Even better. The star of the show was a blueberry sundae fried dough. For a moment, I thought my wife was going to leave me and move in to the theater so she could have them every day... After tasting it, I wouldn't blame her. Make sure to support the snack bar, it is how theaters like this stay in business. Obviously you can't beat the value of 2 for 1 priced movies, so what's not to love? I'd stop by again if I were in the area and recommend you do the same.

Located in the sleepy town of Palatine Bridge, El Rancho Drive-In was a fixture of my childhood and adolescence. In fact, it's the only drive-in I've ever been to. (Not surprising when you learn that there are only 400 left in the USA.) There's really not much to this spot except a tall, concrete wall with a screen overlay. An entrance booth outside (double-features are $5 for kids/$8 for adults, cash only) and a small building that houses a digital projector, a concession stand, and restrooms. The building is somewhat run down but serviceable with small bathrooms and a spot to grab a soda or any number of menu items. Besides that, it's pretty much an open field where you park your car and turn the radio to 90.5 for audio. (No old-school clip-on speakers here.) The owners and staff are amiable, and you can tell that they genuinely love bringing this unique experience to the community. They do have a no outside food and drink policy, which they really can't enforce. However, it's highly recommended that you purchase something from the snack bar as they really need the support to stay operational. A few years back, they were required to buy a digital projector that cost hundreds of thousands of dollars. It's a family-owned small town business, so that's no small sum. Concessions are affordable and tasty here. Far less expensive and a much more romantic experience than your generic cineplex. It's also worth a drive if you are visiting nearby Sharon Springs or Cooperstown. In the future, it would be amazing if they could start showing a wider range of films and promoting themselves a little better. Right now, they're good at getting the most recent releases and bring them to the local audience, which is great. These offerings are usually kid-friendly. However, it would be terrific if they also did nights with classic films or allowed you to rent it for events. I would imagine that seeing something like "Casablanca" or "Back to the Future" here would be so cool!

I'm so excited that I finally got to see a movie here and experience this quirky drive in!…read moreAnd even though it's less quirky than usual- I hear people were NOT allowed to tow their boats in to watch Jaws as in years past, due to Social Distancing of cars- it was still DELIGHTFUL & FUN! The drinks, food, service, staff and vibe were great. They accept/prefer credit cards and allow leashed, well-behaved dogs, even in the Beer Garden. Bathrooms are limited to one person or family group at a time. Masks required when ordering. Hand sanitizer available, and staff was wearing masks CORRECTLY! With such a dearth of fun activities these days, I don't know why they're not sold out every night! Get tickets with the FB page links. It's only 17 miles from Delmar- a beautiful drive less than a half hour. Follow on FB or check the Albany Times Union for movies. There are several each week. My description for those who know these places, is: if the Indian Ladder Brewery and the quirky Strand Theater in Schroon Lake had a baby, it'd be this!

We ordered chocolate chip cookies and they bring them to your car during the movie. The dude was so pumped about the cookies that I think I love him. But yeah this place is great. Definitely want to go back. I'm gonna do a little side rant about Yelp reviews here because there's something I don't get. I see a lot of great reviews and then a 4 star review. If everything was awesome just give it a 5. Those 4s add up and I feel like people that use Yelp are always looking for the great reviews. You get a 5 and 4 from two people that love something. Now you have a 4.5 that should have been a 5. Definitely order a cookie.

Stop the Nonsense!!!…read more Let me start off by saying, the Theaters are completely empty. That means you (Regal) need ME, more than I need you! Been a year or so, since I went to the Theater for a movie. My nephew asked if I would take him to see Scary Movie today, and I figured it might be a nice afternoon out. So, I went online to purchase tickets. Two Adults = $40, just to see the show. And, it's going to cost me another $30 to get my nephew some popcorn and soda. That is $70 for two adults to go to the theater to see a FREAK'N MOVIE. Not a broadway show. A MOVIE !!! - that we can watch on TV in a few more months. Now, don't get me wrong. I get the math. I worked in a theater, in my late teens. I understand that theaters make very little money on the sale of tickets, which is why they have the need to charge $30 for $0.12 of food product. I Get THAT part. The icing on the cake is the $4 'convenience fee' to purchase your tickets online. Yes, please charge me to take my money. We can debated for days, about the 'convenience' and the cost to cover your web servers, etc. But STOP STOP STOP. Millions of outlets sell merchandise online and don't gouge us with convenience fees to do so. This is just another fee, in a world that has completely exhausted consumers with fees and tipping. IF $70 is in your budget, for two adults to go see a movie - hey, knock yourself out. Enjoy it. But with the current economy, this pricing is wack-a-doodle. I purchased two tickets, an hour before the movie. Including my two tickets, there are a total of 6 seats sold, one hour before the movie. If I were Regal, I would be in a panic, asking my entire executive team to come up with ways to fill those seats - rather than chase people away. But then again, I am not the CEO of an empty theater - so who am I to judge. I will go and enjoy the show today. Will NOT be back. Not EVER.

Concession was as expected and littered with different current movie swag to take home. There are always great promotions going on here and fun things like mystery movie nights and bringing back old classics to enjoy on the big screen! Def keep an eye on their rotation! Thanks for a great experience! :) Almost forgot: only critique is the drink carriers need improvement. Each carrier only holds two drinks and the handle is impossible to reach comfortably. It was super clunky to distribute in the theater too(glad I didn't drop any fumbling around) I was told you have to hold it from the bottom anyway because they're not to be trusted so i ended up just hugging the drinks anyway since i was carrying 4 plus popcorn haha.
