My family's been eating at Rotolo's since 1996 because we knew the family. Today, we had it for the first time in five months and I'm only adding this to remind my future self not to go back. Even at a discounted price, this was not worth it or good. The kids didn't eat it because the chicken was burned and looks disgusting. Even the other pizza we ordered, tasted like cardboard. Food is good but overpriced. The drinks are worse however. 4 dollars for a coke. Then they forgot the drink when I ordered my meal to be delivered. Staff is rude too. I ordered on the app once and when I went to pick it up, I asked if I could get a drink to go because I couldn't order one on the app. The lady looked at me like I was stupid and said "um you have to pay for it". Absolutely disgusting chicken parm! The chicken is literally 2 chicken tenders that must have been cooked in a microwave because they are floppy & kinda mushy. The marinara sauce has zero flavor so it taste like eating plain boiled spaghetti noodles with mushy tenders & to put the cherry on top my order was $27 for one calzone and one order of chicken parm! Great pizza! I would usually order from Diversion Pizza in Maurepas. This just as good and much closer! Cauliflower Crust and Regular Thin Crust both yum! Plenty of toppings and quick service. Got take out, but looked like a fun place to go eat as well. Usually don't like chain anything, but was pleased, at least with this location. read more

Ordered over $100 of pizza to pick up at 5:15, I got a text at 4:30 saying it was ready thought it must be a mistake. I was able to get there a little early at 5 and my order was sitting on the counter and lukewarm. Had to go home and reheat all pizzas. Very disappointed read more

My wife and I stopped by for lunch. Wonderful service and awesome food. The food took less than 10 minutes to come out. The pizza was hot and the cheese, nice and stringy! We had the "The Original" breadsticks to start our meal. It comes out on a pizza tray with some marinara sauce. Delicious! So much so that we ordered another one to go. I was pretty disappointed. We ordered a large, thin, crispy Deluxe Combination pizza and added anchovies and pineapple. Also, I asked if the red onions could be only on one-half of the pizza. Plus reworded that to state I wanted one side of the pizza to have onions and the other side to have NO onions. I was assured all this would be taken care of and the order was read back to me correctly. The price with tax was $34 (sort of an ouch!)but I didn't mind the price if we were getting a good pizza. Plus, yummy leftovers, right? Well, we picked up the pizza at the time they gave us . Even though the pizza was soggy and limp, I could have crisped it up in the oven if that were the only problem. The pizza did have pineapple, but no anchovies. Worst of all, the pizza had onions over the whole thing! Since I have an allergy to onions, that meant I got to make myself a peanut butter sandwich for supper instead of having pizza. My husband went ahead and ate pizza for supper and said it tasted okay, so that's the difference in my deciding to give two stars instead of one star. After I thought about it, I realized most companies that deal with the public appreciate knowing why and when a customer is disappointed. This allows them to correct errors and retain a happy customer base. For that reason, I did send a version of this review as an email to corporate headquarters (very close by) five days ago. I had hoped someone would contact me and apologize for the problems. I did not ask for anything from them. That was five days ago. No response from them at all. I suppose it's "lesson learned" time. What I gathered from the incident was not only does Rotolo's make major mistakes on your order, they don't care either. As an added benefit, you pay a whole lot for their mistakes. So, no, I will NOT be returning to Rotolo's and will not be recommending it. read more

Dried out little pizza for 16 dollars. Little caesars is 6 dollars and 50 percent bigger and tastes at least 10 times fresher. I didn't give it one star because it was edible but certainly a rip off. Our kids love eating from here. The Pizza is very good. We used to go to the one in south Denham, it. Loses due to the folks so we have been coming here. It has a gourmet flavor with a great price. Usually I get the Bacon Cheeseburger Calzone and my wife gets the deluxe combination. Tonight, I got the Muffuletta. Awesome. Calzone AND muffuletta. OMG. Has pepperoni, Canadian bacon, salami and Italian olive salad with mozzarella cheese. Can't go wrong with that. read more

My daughters and I made the mistake of coming here on a Friday night. We walked in and the female staff completely ignored us and it was only after I made my way to the bar to ask if we were to seat ourselves that the nice guy who was working it said yes. He was the only one in the place who acknowledged us at all. The food was good. The food is always good. My family and I like the Greek salad and garlic Parmesan bites as appetizers. The pizzas are always good. The service is hit or miss here. We've been here twice and the service was different both times. The first time, the waitress was great: very attentive and sweet to my little girl. The second time, it took the waitress a while to wait on us. I went to the bathroom and came back to a waitress a menu to my husband and daughter, and she looked pretty upset when I sat down. She huffed and said, "oh, I didn't know you were here," like she knew me or something. She couldn't have been older than 19 or 20. She was very flippant and seemed bothered by the fact that she had customers to tend to. Toward the end of our visit she dropped off the check and just disappeared for about 10 minutes; we were one of 3 tables occupied in the building and the only one belonging to her. 1st, the bad: The service at the Hwy 16 Rotolos location is not good. It is exactly what you would expect of a poorly managed young wait staff. Pizza parlor quality, not restaurant quality. They would definately benefit from better onsite management and cleaning around and inside the building. The entrance and parking lot are strewn with garbage and cigarette butts from the bar next door. I've been a customer sinced they opened and no longer done in because the experience is off-putting. Now, the good: Their pizzas & calzoned are good and consistent. And the 2.5lb 18" pizza is a good party pizza deal. And, the best secret... their wings are suprisingly good. Much larger than the tiny quail wings that pass for 'chicken wings' at traditional wing places. This location is in danger of declining too far to recover. Their pizzas, while good, are now competing with improving pizza options elsewhere. And, if Rotolo's doesn't innovate their product and improve the atmosphere & dining experience, they may repeat the story of yet another restaurant that failed to survive the slow decline into mediocrity. read more

Amazing food and Best Customer service I have experienced in Denham Springs and the surrounding area. The first time we tried the place out my family and I thoroughly enjoyed every item we ordered. We liked it so much that the very next day my wife and I went for lunch, and then that weekend we went back again. Unfortunately, this particular Rotolo's had good pizza when they first opened, but we decided to avoid this place because some of the ingredients in the pizza tasted old. I love the calzones. Some pizza is good but the 4 cheese is hella salty. The salads are good but dressings are terrible. I would eat there more if there were homemade dressings. Oh well deangelos knows how to do it right. **I revise the comment about the dressings to say the basalmic vinaigrette is pretty good. It's thick and not too sweet --similar to the one at la Madeleine's. The greens are always fresh, never too wet, and a generous portion. I will say the tomato basil soup is really just the marinara sauce in a bowl. Overall, it's one of the better pizza and salad options in this area.
