Turned out to be an easy fix this time but JEFF figured it out quickly and did some trouble shooting for the future. Recommended installation of a new AC capacitor and explained benefits and cost. Did not feel pressured or forced to decide on the spot. Also discussed long term plan to replace whole system and what that would look like. JEFF provided estimates and costs were very reasonable compared to other local providers. Customer service rep, DORENE, made scheduling easy and got me in before my pets and I melted from the heat - lol! She was very pleasant and helpful throughout the process. Sal was extremely professional in sending out their repair person. However, the person who came…read morewas very unfriendly. When I asked him to wear a mask, he refused. When I asked him to check if there was a leak of gas from my furnace, he said everything is in good working condition and there are multiple safety measures to prevent any leak. But when I asked how to be sure there is no leak, he said that is a second step to measure with a meter and it will cost another $89. In any event, I didn't find him to be friendly and helpful to rule out my initial complaint. I did not opt for the second step. No second step for diagnosis was informed by Sal earlier. That said, I guess I must give the business a 5-star rating based on the professional scheduling and followup of the appointment. "One swallow doesn't make a summer' or "one bad day" is not a true reflection of the company. I am changing my rating at Sal's text request personally. It's only changed because I can understand Sal's concern as a businessman. He offered me free service in return but I declined it again. He got me wrong completely. My changed rating is only for the professionalism shown by the reception desk and their follow-up. It is not for the changed picture Ron gave that I asked if Ron wanted me to wear a mask. Who would ask that in one's own house? I was wearing my mask thoughout the encounter. As a 65+ year-old, I must be cautious. I don't need a service person's permission to wear a mask inside my house. She knows everyone in Wickliffe and is universally loved! WyattWorks didn't know my mom. They just know that she needed help: after hours. Wyatt was there immediately; and in a time of COVID 19, the technician followed social distancing guidelines. He also fixed the problem with courtesy, AND, the company gave her a very generous price break because of her age. In a time of need and in a time when compassion is needed, WyattWorks plumbing perfectly did their job!

Long story short, our schedules became busier and I requested to get the estimate over the phone or sent through email, as other companies had easily done. I was told that can't happen and my husband would either need to be there or on the phone. My husband's job does not allow for easy planning that way. I again requested an appointment to come back without my husband as I could easily explain things to him and if he had questions,he could contact David. Nope. Could only do with my husband's presence. It is 2026. As a woman,I am fully capable of understanding an estimate and explaining it to my husband. It isn't like I am trying to sneak an a/c unit in our house. I opted to not get the estimate and go with another company that was very easy to work with and communication was effortless. David did offer to come on a Sunday, the one day my husband has off. By that time, I was too frustrated to even bother.
