That was frustrating because I would have preferred to know that before the appointment was scheduled so I could have planned accordingly. He also explained that the service had been delayed because he was still waiting on one of the parts and wanted to make sure it was a good quality part and not a cheap one, which I actually appreciated. The issue was the lack of communication leading up to the delay and the fact that one of the tasks could not be completed. During the visit, he called me over and asked technical questions about the plumbing setup that I could not reasonably answer. He then had me call the homeowner while she was at work and kept her on the phone to ask her those questions, which defeated the whole point of me being there for the appointment. The configuration was right there in front of him, so it felt unnecessary and unprofessional. We also agreed on a price beforehand, but the price changed after he arrived. When I questioned it, he said he had to charge what he did because my faucet was "high end." That did not make sense to me because the faucet was an under 200 dollar Home Depot faucet installed by a family member. The explanation felt off, and combined with everything else it did not inspire confidence. With the inability to complete one of the tasks, the shifting price, and the overall vibe of the interaction, I decided not to move forward. When I declined service, he muttered multiple comments under his breath to his partner while I was standing a few feet away, including unbelievable and similar remarks. That was unprofessional and disappointing.

This was THE WORST experience I ever had with a service provider. It was to put an "access" door…read moreinside a closet so they could get to the plumbing in the wall and change the shower head and handles. It was a NIGHTMARE and took them three days to install the stuff incorrectly and give me a bunch of crap about the brand I bought, the need for another $150 worth of charges, etc. Three days later I had a shower head that trickled, no door on the hole in the wall and a bill for $400. The owner was not returning my calls. Finally, he answered the phone, ranted at me saying everything was my fault, not his employees' fault - that they knew what they were doing. He was really ticked off and I could tell. He came straight over to my house and was SO DRUNK (he smelled). The fix was 5-10 minutes, I wrote him a check, and told him I wished he had come over three days earlier to fix this instead of letting the two clueless guys futz around this whole time. I have no confidence in this company, its trustworthiness, or credibility. Beware and be afraid.

I told him I was a widow. He cancelled three times. After that when I called him, my calls went to voicemail. I suspected that he blocked me so I called from my work phone. He answered and when I said who I was, all of a sudden he started saying......can you hear me, can you hear me, can you hear me and then hung up. Man, what professional does that? All he needed to do was to tell me he didn't have time to service my system...........Really simple. But he left me hanging on for a long time. I hate leaving negative feedback but Alex more than deserves it. I am going to report him to the Better Business. I will go into more detail there.
