That was frustrating because I would have preferred to know that before the appointment was scheduled so I could have planned accordingly. He also explained that the service had been delayed because he was still waiting on one of the parts and wanted to make sure it was a good quality part and not a cheap one, which I actually appreciated. The issue was the lack of communication leading up to the delay and the fact that one of the tasks could not be completed. During the visit, he called me over and asked technical questions about the plumbing setup that I could not reasonably answer. He then had me call the homeowner while she was at work and kept her on the phone to ask her those questions, which defeated the whole point of me being there for the appointment. The configuration was right there in front of him, so it felt unnecessary and unprofessional. We also agreed on a price beforehand, but the price changed after he arrived. When I questioned it, he said he had to charge what he did because my faucet was "high end." That did not make sense to me because the faucet was an under 200 dollar Home Depot faucet installed by a family member. The explanation felt off, and combined with everything else it did not inspire confidence. With the inability to complete one of the tasks, the shifting price, and the overall vibe of the interaction, I decided not to move forward. When I declined service, he muttered multiple comments under his breath to his partner while I was standing a few feet away, including unbelievable and similar remarks. My family house has been having terrible shower problems for months, a slow drop every once and a…read morewhile then gradually increasing water dropping out, thought it was a quick shower head and filter switch but that turned out to be so much more, on top of everything the first guy who came out said it was really corroded and he didn't know how to open our shower and look at the cartridge, and then a few days later on monday Rey comes in clutch, he had great conversations with my mother about what could possibly be wrong and on top of totally relatable and understanding , he was very honest and upfront when he saw how corroded it was and said it might possibly break but quickly assured that it would be a quick fix if that was the case but he would try to get it undone first before any replacement was needed. Patrick is a great guy. Called him on Sunday night for a clogged main drain. He was over first…read morething in the morning. After about 45 minutes the clog was cleared up. Turns out he pulled out some tree roots. He will be coming back at a later date to put his camera down the drain and see how bad it is. If really bad he will dig out the bad part and replace the pipe. Reasonably priced service call. He has a great attitude. Patrick was there to fix the problem and exuded confidence. Really easy guy to talk to. Patrick had put in a gas line to our stove about 10 years ago when we had the kitchen remodeled. Ran it from the attic and did a nice, clean job. Good dude.
