If ever there's an inconvenient time for something to go wrong, that's when it happens - we had our downstairs flood from a slab leak due to our main kitchen line bursting on of course a Friday night after normal business hours. We are 1st time homeowners and this is our first experience with the homeowners insurance; who initially gave zero reference, support or guidance on next steps other than giving us a claim # and letting us know someone would be in touch by possibly Monday or Tuesday. As you can imagine, as a family with 4 kids we can't just have our house swimming all weekend. We called RotoRooter and they had someone out within the hour to assess the situation and by the next morning already had blowers/dehumidifiers going and located the leak. Our flood restoration Technician, Ty Spraggins, was absolutely wonderful to work with. He helped put us at ease about what to expect, next steps and continued to provide fast, courteous, informative communication throughout each day. He additionally got each part of the job going from connecting us with a restoration contractor, and the plumbing crew, and demo of the impacted water damaged areas. Additionally they were so polite and respectful of our home and personal effects, cleaned up after themselves and were consummate professionals. I would absolutely recommend this branch and will certainly keep their business card. On a professional level, my only "room for improvement" comment would be for our plumber Jesse - while he was very polite and pleasant and not in a negative way but from a professional development standpoint, he could really benefit from developing his soft skills and communication style. He seemed like he wasn't really confident in talking to us and at the onset of our experience while we as homeowners are stressed and overwhelmed it kind of made us question if he "knows what he's doing" with that said, we gave him the benefit of the doubt because Ty was able to reassure us that he is great at what he does and Jesse completed the work well but it would be a benefit for him to be able to relay that to the customer and reassure them that he can be trusted and it's going to be okay. We had a completely blocked sewer line that occurred after hours. I made an on-line appointment for the next morning. I received a call at 8:00 am saying that the technician would be at my home at 9:00 am. Right on time! Joe and Nicole "double teamed" the problem, found the blockage due to a hole in the line w/ significant root intrusion, and another root intrusion farther down the line that would have been the next problem in short order. They came up with alternatives for a permanent fix. I said "go!" By the end of that day, by around 6:30 pm, the total repair was completed and you'd never know they'd been here at all. A team of many folk were here off and on during the day to get it all completed. Joe was lead on the project, and a real professional. It was obvious that he cared and wanted to do it right. It wasn't inexpensive, but I was VERY impressed with the professionalism, quality of their tools and equipment, expertise of each person who "worked the problem" to completion. Our appointment was from between 10am to 12 pm. At 1:30 pm I called to inquire why the technician had not appeared yet. I was frustrated that they would be so late without at least calling. The call was for a house we're renting out and I was upset that my tenant was being inconvenienced. I was told the technician was 30 minutes out. 30 minutes later I called to cancel the appointment because our tenant really needed to go to the bank and it was going to close before the technician got there. The appointment was cancelled and 10 minutes later the technician showed up anyway. Once he got there the technician was great. He made quick work of the clogged drain and was in and out in about 15 minutes. He took my payment over the phone and even waited a bit after he was finished so I could call him after finishing my lunch. The service was great if not ridiculously expensive for 10 minutes of work, but the tardiness and lack of communication was ridiculous. read more

NEVER CALL Roto Rooter in Hemet! They ripped me off big time. Charged over $5700 for going through foundation to change a two ft pipe. I received no upfront estimate. (my fault. I should have known better, but would have expected them to have integrity and be honest). Four Roto Rooter workers were there, but only one did the work! They stood around and talked as they watched Joe do the work. They also nicked the copper pipe from water heater, which was next to bad pipe while installing the new pipe. I heard them talking about it when it happened, but they didn't fix it while they were under the foundation, which created another slab leak a few months later. I had to call another plumber who charged only $600 to repair their shoddy work. If I had known then that I could have sued, I would have gladly done that. People be aware, and don't call Roto Rooter! They take advantage of the elderly. Just note all the bad reviews. read more

My main water line in the front yard failed and I had water gurgling and flowing from my downstairs toilet and it was the 4th of July! I called Roto-Rooter and within 1 hour I had Christopher here checking everything out, explaining to me what had happened, and received a quote. By the afternoon Travis W. arrived and started the repair. Travis got our water back up and running by placing a temporary part in and returned the next morning with the new part he picked up from their supplier. Travis was very professional, calm, and communicated to me everything he was doing . He answered all of my questions and concerns and even replanted the bushes that had to be dug up. I can't say anything about the other Techs they have, But I can tell you that Josh came out to fix the plumbing problem we had, He was professional, informative and friendly. He not only fixed our problem, but also let us know about a couple of other things in the future that we might have to have done. I had Josh do those preventive repairs as well. We needed 2 valves replaced one of them being the house shut off. That left the main shut off which was frozen. A very warm morning 95° Poor Travis! At least he had enough to do waiting for Rancho water to take care of the main valve. Travis spent the day taking great care of us. My parents are 95 and 96 and my Dad is the one who fixes everything. It was such a relief to have such an excellent job done. Travis checked everything and gave us the thumbs up. We're in a Condo Complex HOA and recently the main drive drain would back up and flood the street when it rains. Contacted a different plumber last time it rained and they cleared the water ($2,000) We had them come back out for an estimate to fix the problem and we got an estimate to replace everything ( pumps, floaters and electrical) $13,000! Yikes! We then contacted Rotor Rooter, they found the issue and fixed the problem (so far fingers crossed ). And they let us know that there is still mileage left on the pumps. They tested the pumps and everything is working. I don't know anything about plumbing, Joe T did a great job and a great job explaining everything. He also saved us $13,000!!! The cost....$325! Pete was the technician from Roto Rooter (Hemet) who helped me with my plumbing needs. I had a major main line water leak at the mobile home park I manage here in Hemet. Pete arrived on time, walked me through the estimate, as well as, explained to me alternative options that could save me time and money. Once Pete started the job, he explained to me the repairs made, the equipment used, as well as, the type of high grade compression fittings my 2' lines required due to their size and the amount of water pressure in the lines. I just want to give a big shout out to Charlie from Rotor Rooter. Had a plumbing emergency late last night and he showed up rather quickly to help us out. He was professional and courteous! He came to my home, was mindful of not letting my cats out and did everything in his power to fix my problem. Unfortunately my plumbing issues were extensive but he fixed what he could by going through the roof rather than completely tearing apart my bathroom and leaving me screwed until we hear back from the landlord. It died, so they told me to go buy another one and they'd be happy to install it since me buying one would be cheaper. They did all of the work on time and for the price originally stated. Few days ago, I had a plumbing emergency. My faucet busted and needed a quick fix. I called a couple of plumbers around but none of them was available to work at that time. Travis W. was fabulous! He arrived a few minutes early, looked at the situation & figured it out; stopped a major leak. Very friendly & knowledgeable. I had a disaster under the kitchen sink with the reverse osmosis water purification system, the dishwasher, and the garbage disposal with flooding which ruined the wood flooring of the cabinet underneath. The RO system is about 15 years old and needs to be replaced. Nobody has any parts for it. I'd be happy to have him come and do it. read more
