To do this, portions of the stuccoed facade of our house and the deck railing had to be removed to make room for new flashing all around. After we came to an agreement with Dan Betyordekom of I Construction to do the work, we braced ourselves for the disruptions and turmoil such a project typically inflicts on an active household (this was not our first such rodeo), dreading the inevitable delays that seem to be part of any construction work. Today, merely 10 days after we signed the contract, we look out on our splendid new deck, which, even according to the building inspector, reflects excellent work. Don's tireless crew showed up on time every day, worked meticulously and professionally, took no shortcuts, cleaned up thoroughly at the end of each day, and went beyond our expectations in every aspect.
