I explained this to the doctor & staff & they kindly accommodated my strange request. At the time the doctor also informed me that I would need a special root-canal in one tooth, which he did not provide. All of the normal crowns were taken care of well. I've had better, but only when getting one crown at a time. I find it difficult to complain that the man left a snag or two after spending three straight hours working on one mouth. Obviously, when prompted by questioning in subsequent visits he remedied my concerns like a consummate professional. During the one appointment in the midst of that whole situation, the doctor mistakenly shaved down the tooth in which I needed the special root-canal, having forgotten in the weeks since he told me that I would need to seek other dental help for that tooth. I did not forget, I was just busy trying not to panic bc getting dental work is scary. I still should have told him, & so I consider this mistake to be mostly my own. Overall, I enjoyed my time there, frantic though it may have been.

Romano is absolutely incompetent and negligent. He doesn't deserve the Dr title and is an…read moreembarrassment to the medical profession. Because of greedy, negligent, arrogant and unworthy practitioners like him, countless people are dying daily or getting sicker when they could have been saved!!! I don't recommend anyone with periodontal disease to see or trust Romano. He is negligent, inconsiderate and careless to patients' welfare. I started seeing him in late December 2023. I went in with 3 deep pockets that needed immediate attention. The rest of my teeth were fine. All they needed was a deep cleaning, which l requested. He rather dismissed my request and told me carelessly that the state of my teeth was beyond scaling (which he denied when l reminded him of that today). In fact, he was pushing to remove the infected teeth and have me spend around $30k in bone grafts and implants. All he was interested the extractions + implants and neglected the rest of my teeth that were healthy but needed just a deep cleaning. Unfortunately l kept coming during the course of 9 months for unnecessary regular teeth cleanings when in fact l needed a scaling! Guess what? My pockets got bigger and my teeth that were healthy started deteriorating because the superficial cleanings were not going deep enough to remove the tartar build up. I had to probe and insist in August 2023 for him to reevaluate my teeth and confirm that l needed indeed a scaling. 9 months later!!! During the scaling scheduled today, l asked questions to understand why he'd dismissed my requests for scaling all along and if my unaffected teeth that are now worsening could have been saved had we done the scaling earlier. He was unwilling to communicate. Kept cutting me off, was very rude and defensive and would not answer my questions . His behavior was totally unprofessional and portrayed lack of responsibility and accountability. When he felt cornered by my questions his answer was that he is not the only periodontist in town and refused to perform the scheduled scaling. All of this because l asked questions about the decisions he made concerning my oral health! It was impossible to communicate objectively and professionally with this man who behaved in a totally irresponsible and rude way. He is after your pockets and not concerned about your welfare!!! Please think twice before trusting him with your teeth. What a shame and disgrace to the medical profession!!!!

They're close by, but they schedule like 3 patients at the same time per hygienist so they're ALWAYS late. They do it so they can always have appointments if someone cancels or arrives late but when people arrive on time like they're supposed to you have to wait 2 hours. Last time they told me they were so sorry she was running late (I understood) but I waited from 9am until 11:30 u till I was so upset I went to another dentist that same day. I went back because of course they sold me their bull**** package of another cleaning and the SAME thing happened. My boyfriend happened to have the same dentist and I accompanied him to go and they had us wait for an hour and she finally came to tell us she was sorry the lady was running late to work she should be there in 10 minutes. When I finally was so upset that I asked for them to reschedule (he paid for that already of course) they tell me "you shouldn't schedule things after dentist appointments, you should know they always run a bit later" ..... overall disappointed with untimely service, unkind people, and just okay cleanings. The office was super clean, and modern. The staff were very friendly and professional. And the wait time was literally less that 5 minutes. The doc took his time examining me, and then explained to me in detail exactly what was going on. I didn't feel rushed or pushed into sales pitch that usually happens at other dentist bc they want to do big procedures. The doc explained that my cavity had gotten bigger, and recommended that I get full imaging and consider the possibility of root canal. He understood that I was from out of town, so he gave me the option of going ahead and treating cavity, and following back home for full work up and treatment. The doc also took the time to call my regular dentist and to update him on his findings. This is utmost level of care!!! I felt very comfortable here, and appreciated the sincerity. If I lived nearby I would definitely come back here for sure.
