I have finally met one of the most honest and competent endodontists in my my life! I would recommend him again and again! Dr Llano talked me through the procedure while working on my teeth. Its been five days, yes my face is still swollen, there has been no bruising at all. The pain has also been minimal.. If I didn't have about 15+ stiches in my mouth, I would have thought I've hallucinated the whole thing. By the way, when I got the estimate, I thought his price was extremely fair!! & The staff was amazing too.. I wouldn't trust anyone else to work on my teeth! I took my boys, ages 18 and 21 to see Dr. Llano. They were having issues due to prior use of braces. Dr. Llano was professional, knowledgeable, and extremely kind. Dr. Llano is excellent at his job! The office is very clean and the staff is extremely friendly and and helpful. I was feeling a lot of pain and he was able to squeeze me into his schedule. He was very patient and explained everything step by step in a way that I could understand. When we saw that I needed a Root Canal he did it that same day. His nerve block worked perfectly- I didn't feel a thing and he kept me very comfortable throughout the case. He even called from his office the following day to check on how I was feeling. At first I have to admit I was mislead by a lot of reviews that were posted by ppl who most likely did not follow proper instructions given by the doctor and I was a little scared. To my surprise I was given a warm greeting from a very knowledgeable front desk team and dental assistant. They assisted me right away efficiently and with the outmost kindness. Dr. Llano is not only one of the kindness Doctors I have ever met but very detailed and extremely passionate about what he does. He made me feel so comfortable, I don't think I would have ever put Root Canal and amazing/pleasant together but you better believe it. My root canal went without a glitch, I actually fell asleep for most of it and I have never been so happy with a procedure. I needed to have an emergency root canal and when I explained this to the front desk they matched my sense of urgency which was great to know. I got an appointment right away which was a huge help and when I got to the office I NEVER felt rushed or If my appt was being "squeezed". Everyone explained the procedure several times which made me feel so comfortable that the whole team was on the same page. I can't thank Dr. Llano and his team enough for all of the amazing work. I left the procedure on time, went to work with no pain and no swelling. The doctor gave me everything I needed and treated me like part of his office family!! My biggest fear are spiders, snakes and dentists!! I was in need for a root canal and referred to Dr. Juan by another dentist because he specializes in root canals. Before the procedure I was beyond petrified, literally crying like a baby and shaking so much, they couldn't start. I was embarrassed and just wanted to leave. I was asking for the gas to knock me out but apparently it's not safe so they juiced me up with injection to the max. He told me the procedure might take up to and hour in a half. So I asked him can speed it up, he said, "Maria I will not speed up the procedure because I am proud of my work and I only want the best for you." :) During the procedure Dr. Juan was explaining to me step by step what he was doing and why it was important. Continuously asking me am I okay, do I feel any pain, he was amazing, gentle and extremely professional, he even played the radio to keep my mind relaxed. I actually started humming and noticed my feet were moving to the beat, that's how much I trusted him I was completely relaxed. Another positive note, the rooms were extremely clean. A company must come in there everyday and sterilize the whole office. I'm really thankful for my experience with Dr. Juan, it was unexpected and gave me hope for future office visits. I have scheduled my appt for a root canal for Dec of this year. Even though I have yet to be surgically treated by Dr. Llano, I wanted to comment on my experience on my initial consultation. I was so impressed! This Dr. took his time to explain the whole procedure in detail to me and answer every single question I had (and I had lots). It is so rare (and refreshing!) these days to have a medical professional spend so much time with his/her patient and actually seem eager to EDUCATE his/her patient, and that's exactly what Dr. Llano did. 5 star dentistry, 5 star staff, 5 star office i have been in miami for last 10 years and i have never had such a pleasant experience with any service providers. doctor juan llano is a practitioner providing dentistry in endodontics field. once i was diagnosed with a root canal by my local dentist, she recoomended dr llano as someone she considers the best in treating root canal. i live on south beach, his office is in doral so i was skeptical about going there, but since i was in massive pain i was not in a mood of making phone calls and do the research on my own,,,so i called them up and explained how much pain i was in for the last two days and they were able to squeeze me in next day which was a blessing from heavens. my appointment was yesterday august the 3rd, 2017 at 4:30 and i was on time. i was greeted by front desk personel alejandra with a warm smile and addressed by my name since i was expected at that hour, regardless it was nice and i noticed it is barely happening here in miami to be welcomed with by name. i had to fill out paperwork and was informed to be taken in in few minutes. dental assistant adelcis was the one that took me to the room and sat me down. she was very attentive and compassionate. the dental char was amazing, i was offered an option with a massage (build in robotic unit) while in treatment. i was asked if i was warm, if i needed a blanket etc, another shocker! so refreshing to have such a service. in less than 2 min, i was approached by doctor juan llano. i was impressed. you can tell by looking and listening to this guy, his practice is his passion. he explained me in details what is happening in my tooth and what steps this treatment will include to get it done. while in service i was asked several times if i was comfortable, if i feel any pain, if the temperature was ok, i was explained with each step what dr llano was doing and how much time that step would take. i was amazed how painless this procedure was. i was amazed how beautiful, modern and spotless his office was. i was amazed by how i was treated by the whole stuff, how everyone of them understands how much pain people with root canal can be. seems to me like this is the best team of people working together and providing the best of service in miami area, no questions asked. after i was done with the treatment dr llano informed me that it is possible to feel little pain next day therefor taking 800mg of ibuprofen was suggested, since i was not dealing well with codeine meds prescribed by my doctor to ease the pain, yes codeine works but makes you too "high"in a way, so after 36h of pain it becomes annoying. payment was taken by andrea, another angel working at dr llano's office. i was told the documentation of the procedure will be emailed to me within next two hours so my dentist will have a proper document before proceeding with build up for crown, temporary crown and final crown. so today in the morning they called me around 10am to ask me how i was feeling. i was asked if i received the email and they wanted to check if i was going to go with my dentist for the crown or they should forward the documents to someone else. no now it is less than 24 h since i had root canal done by dr. llano i can not be more pleased with not having that sharp pain and whats more important, that peace of mind when you know the job was done 100% right and i don't have to worry about that tooth anymore. i barely ever leave reviews, i believe this is my 3rd one since i moved to miami and the first 2 were to express my disappointment, well here i just could not resist, since the service i received is definitely a 5 star. thank you dr llano, thank you alejandra, adelcis and andrea for making my day yesterday. jacob surmanski read more

My partner needed an emergency root canal that a dentist's office we had gone to diagnosis the treatment (Elite Dental Group in Kendall) were giving us a hard time since they wanted payment first even though my insurance covers at 100% they also were very rude. I found Dr. Juan Llano on Yelp and called on a Tuesday spoke to Andrea, his assistant, who did not have an appointment right away but made sure to put me first on there waiting list and scheduled tentative for the week after. I was very anxious and worried since my partner's nerve was exposed already well I did call every day after LOL to check with her which she was very nice and understanding. By Friday morning she herself called me early to tell me they had a cancellation to ask if we can come in. She was extremely empathetic and professional as for my partner he told me his visit with Dr. Llanos was very comforting that he has great bedside manners and is very professional. The doctor even called they day after to check on him and if I ever need again this type of dental care (which hoping not! Lol) I will definitely not think twice about going to their office. read more
