All the Dentist are excellent; however, Sydney has helped me with multiple dental problems and she somehow exceeds expectations every time! Misleading billing practices and poor communication…read more I had a very disappointing experience with Stone Dental Associates. I was quoted $400 at the time of service for a deep cleaning that I was told was necessary. I paid that amount in full before the appointment, assuming everything was settled. Weeks later, I received an unexpected $1,200 bill after my insurance determined the procedure wasn't necessary. I then had to request the office to dispute the charges, and after all of that, I still ended up being billed another $400 because they said one quadrant of my cleaning wasn't covered. At no point was it explained that the total cost could change so drastically or that I might be responsible for so much more after paying upfront. This experience felt misleading and frustrating, and I would caution anyone considering this office to make sure you get a clear, written estimate and confirmation of insurance coverage before agreeing to treatment.

While I could not care less, I went along; we had healthy teeth and just wanted to do our routine dental checkups, since they were covered by my dental insurance. Long story short, the bill arrived a few days later, and they invoiced us around $800 after deducting what the insurance paid. Most charges were rejected by the insurance provider as they were not considered part of a routine inspection. When I confronted them about these charges, they simply threatened to send my file to a collection agency rather than explain why they provided services that were never requested. Avoid this office at all costs. They look at you as a piggy bank and try to collect whatever they can, for services that you never need to begin with.

I was hesitant to purchase the groupon as it didn't seem like the traditional way of sourcing a cleaning. Upon arrival every staff member was professional, courteous and attentive. I went there to get veneers. During my consultation, Dr. Cooper told me he could do my case, and we…read morediscussed placing veneers on my upper 10 teeth. At my next visit, I received my temporary veneers. I immediately told him they looked too big for my mouth. He told me not to worry and said the final veneers would look smoother, smaller, and more natural. The next day, I emailed the coordinator to explain that I wanted a natural look -- not bulky, not too long or too wide -- just similar to my original teeth with a small upgrade. I already had beautiful teeth, but as I got older, I had some discoloration. The response I received was simply, "Thanks for letting us know." I also called Dr. Cooper again and told him I did not like the temporary veneers and asked him not to make the final ones bulky. He again told me not to worry. Four weeks later, I went back to receive the final veneers. They placed them with temporary cement and asked how I liked them. I told Dr. Cooper they were too big for my mouth, too long, and uneven -- the left side looked bigger than the right. I clearly said I did not like them. He told me he could not change anything and that we needed to cement them permanently. I felt like I had no choice, so they were permanently cemented. After that, I felt terrible. My speech changed because the top teeth were too big. When I talk, I sound different, and I sometimes struggle to pronounce words clearly. When I eat, I have to be very careful. I experience daily discomfort, nerve pain, and gum irritation because of the poor work. I have now spoken to four other doctors for second opinions. All of them said the veneers are definitely too big and bulky, and that is why my speech has changed. They also said the unevenness is due to poor work. I paid a lot of money for this treatment, and now I am paying even more to fix the damage. I lost my confidence, I am in pain, and I feel like Dr. Cooper ignored my concerns and did not listen to me. This has been a very painful and disappointing experience for me
