Booking an appointment was smooth and easy, and I felt instantly at ease walking in. Front desk staff was amazing, and I couldn't have asked for a better hygienist! One day with Dr. Gurley abs his staff and I was signed up to get everything done. The final work was completed last week and I couldn't be happier!! I already had a nice smile...now, I have a fantastic smile. I'm so happy I found Dr. Gurley!!! I want to thank Dr. Gurley and the staff at @northatlantasmiles for my beautiful smile. I grew up with perfectly straight teeth. I had some cavities, but nothing out of the normal. I've had root scaling done and I'm a flossing addict (@getcocofloss addict now)! I had to have one implant a couple years ago after a crown broke. The dentist that performed the work did a wonderful job - even Dr. Gurley was impressed. For years my dentists have told me that I'm a grinder and wearing my teeth down. I tried night guards and still, I seemed to keep grinding away at my teeth...so much that I had chipped several teeth and even broken a couple more. My teeth weren't as white as I wanted but I had bad reactions to Zoom and other whitening products because of the wearing away of my enamel and teeth. I'd wanted veneers for years but didn't want my teeth ground down to tiny spikes. Dr. Gurley explained the advancement in veneers and how putting crowns on my other teeth would not only improve my bite (which was way off), but there'd be minimal grinding away my actual teeth for the veneers. Because I had good teeth, great gums and bones, I was an ideal candidate. I'd consulted a couple other dentists before choosing Dr. Gurley. I can honestly say it's the best decision and investment I've made! This is an investment in my health and my smile, something I'm know for...always smiling. On the last two visits, I've heard Lucinda Williams, Emmylou Harris, and Bruce Hornsby. (He plays entire albums.) Second and third are Nancy Green and Lori Miller, dental hygienists extraordinaire. I walked in and was immediately greeted and given a tour of the office. Then I was taken to a consultation room and given a welcome letter and a gift bag, all before I had even seen a dentist. I was walked to my exam room sat down, and leaned back and realized that the it was a massage chair! Because it's been so long since I've seen the dentist, I was given a thorough consultation by Pam the dental technician, she was so great. The cleaning went well although I hate the process Pam made sure I was comfortable. Then the doctor came in and came up with a game plan to get my teeth back in order. It felt like they actually cared and weren't trying to sell me on something that I might not necessarily need. It was a very no pressure visit. I checked out with Jessica who was super friendly and made sure to tell her how great the experience w. I definitely plan to recommend this office to friends and family, I'm almost tempted to stop strangers on the street and tell them how great this place is, lol! The prices here are slightly higher than other dentists that I have visited in the past, but I must admit that I like the fact that this office uses the newest equipment. Before coming here, my previous dentist that my family was using, only had old equipment in his office, and after coming here, I see why it is important to use high quality equipment and the newest technology. The new owner finally did the right thing and reimbursed a friend of the family the money the old…read moreowner owed her. It took 5 months to get back the OSHA fees and LAB fees which were fraudulently billed by the old owners. So sad that they took advantage of in-network additional billing that was not allowed. Old owners just ignored it but the new doc did the right thing! I hope this practice learns from this experience and treats patients the right way without tacky billing ideas.
