The fact that my daughter Abigail never complained about going to Kaplan Orthodontics says it all. Braces, cleaning, opening your mouth forever, remembering not to lose things... and still no complaints! Any parent knows that's a five-star review right there. The Kaplan team is warm, friendly, and somehow makes the whole experience easy. And my little secret? The morning coffee at Kaplan's definitely helped Dad enjoy the appointments too. Abigail gets great care, I get coffee, and my wife is happy I'm involved--everybody wins! Thanks, Kaplan team, for taking such great care of us! Mark Teytel, happy dad and loyal coffee customer :) read more

I must say this practice is by far the best I've ever encountered. The customer service was top notch from begin to end! Jess provided me thorough details/feedback regarding any concerns I had as well as got me onboarded/setup for my in person consult with Dr. Kaplan. The day of my in person visit was so warm and welcoming. Everyone staff I encountered were super friendly and appeared to be very happy. You felt the uplifting vibes throughout the practice. Jess took all of my photos to get me fitted for my Invisalign. I meet Dr Kaplan who was very upbeat and super friendly. He made sure I understood what to expect during my treatment as well insured I was comfortable with my decision. Jess and Dr Kaplan were very attentive and showed so much care & compassion which further confirmed I'd selected the right practice to help through my new smile journey - for the 2nd time as I just ended my braces journey October of last year. Long story short, I stop wearing my retainers post treatment which is why I ended up in Dr Kaplans office ( * shrugs shoulders/hides face lol). Good thing Invisalign treatment is only for 6-8 months, that will fly by in no time. Today (12/21) was a pre bday gift to myself. It was my official aligner fitting, yet again nothing but superb customer service. As soon as I checked in, I was presented with a bday card and chocolate (no nuts) - that's the rule lol. It's the small things that makes my day, the gesture was kind and very unexpected. Unfortunately I forgot the name of the staff member that assisted with getting my aligners on however she was absolutely AMAZING, very thorough! Dr Kaplan once again greeting me with his uplifting personality. Made sure everything was in place before I departed. I look forward to signing off on the signature wall in 8 months! Oh they have a candy station you can help yourself to once you successfully complete treatment - I included a photo of it. Thought it was cute concept. I highly recommend Kaplan Orthodontics! You can tell the environment is family oriented. The staff will make you feel right at home! read more

Their customer service is truly impeccable. Dr Kaplan is possibly the happiest person on earth and his wonderful team are just as friendly. I finally finished my Invisalign after 2 years. Every visit was always nothing but the best. I would advise anyone to go there for the perfect smile. Thank you so much for your care over the last couple of years! read more

My first experience at this place was definitely 5 star. I arrived for my appointment and I was greeted by a friendly receptionist that already new my name. She then introduced me to the person I would be working with (Laura). Laura took me around the office and showed me all of the different things I needed to know and places to go. She was very friendly and did a great job of prepping me for how my appointment would go. She took some xrays of my teeth and showed them to Dr. Kaplan. Dr. Kaplan is also very friendly and inviting. He explained all of the things that he has planned to get me the beautiful smile that I've been dreaming of. I'll admit that my natural color is BLOND so usually I have a little trouble understanding complicated procedures and situations. He explained it to me in a way that left me virtually questionless by the end of our session. So far so good! I havent gotten any of my work done yet but I will definitely update this post as time (and my smile) progresses. read more

If I can give Kaplan Orthodontist a 6 star rating I really would. My friend Brianna had the perfect teeth and she showcased it on Instagram, and I always wondered who helped perfect her smile. Of course I asked everyone else who had braces where they got theirs at, but trusting the kind of person Brianna is I took a chance as she referred me to Kaplan Orthodontist. She also told me they do a free consultation, so i said cool. I went there for the first time and my first impression was the vibe of the place and the people there. So nice loving and very caring. I was nervous at first, but after they took me in with open arms I knew I was in good hands. They did some scanning, then sat me down and asked me what the goal was with my teeth, I wanted a confident smile, and they waisted no time and went straight to work. They also referred me to doctor Vincent for my teeth cleaning and Doctor Tara for my tongue thrust (Mythology). Soo far my teeth (my smile) has exceeded my expectations (AND ITS FAR FROM DONE ). Not gonna lie in the beginning it was hell a little bit my braces hurt soooooo much, I could barely eat anything. But that's just shows that it's working. It's kinda weird but the amount of hours I spend smiling in the mirror, and my sister still tries to kick me out the bathroom . I referred some of my friends to them. I took one of them with me and she had a blast she saw me with braces and asked where I got them from... and of course. So we went last week and they were more than honored to help her out. All and all, i came a long way with this smile of mine and I was very much insecure about my smile in the beginning, I didn't know who to go to, But doctor Kaplan Orthodontist came through as a huge blessing. So if you are looking to perfect your smile I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU TO VISIT KAPLAN ORTHODONTIST‼‼‼ I will be bringing my friends here without hesitation. I wish I can go back to the first day I went there to go through that experience again, because although the goal is gonna be spectacular, they made the journey so MAGNIFICENT and fun. read more

I finished my treatment this week and I am over the moon about my results. I have always been really self-conscience of my smile and now I want to flash it to everyone. Not only are my teeth straight but my bite is perfect. I highly recommend Dr. Kaplan to anyone but especially if you're an adult looking to get the perfect smile. read more

2/17/2017 Update: After 3 years of having my braces off I bit into the wrong thing and popped my bottom retainer off. I called Dr. Kaplan's office and got an appointment right away. I went in for my appointment and it was like I had never stopped going. There were still so many familiar faces! Dr. Kaplan got me all fixed up and in and out of there so quickly. He also 100% remembered me from 3 years prior and asked about school, work and picked up right where we had left off. I fully recommended this office 3 years ago and today I fully stand by that. Hands down the BEST orthodontist you could go to! read more

Braces don't get better than this. I've been seeing Dr. Kaplan and his team for just under a year and a half now. They are absolutely phenomenal. The office is full of intelligent, interesting, and happy people. Don't bother going anywhere else, even for a quote. You'll only be wasting valuable time. Dr. K could be fixing up your smile right this second!! Hop to it. As far as the nitty gritty details - the office is beautifully designed, if you ever have any issues they will find a way to fit you in post haste, and I always seem to score exactly the appointment times that work within the confines of my busy schedule. As an adult with braces, I can only speak to my experience and not that of children - but I do see happy kids there every visit! (And if you're an adult considering braces, but are on the fence, DO IT! You'll look cute. Swear.) It's worth mentioning that I had an issue with my gums for which I had to see a specialist, and Dr. K and team assisted me throughout the entire process. No matter what goes down, he is involved and he stays involved to make sure you are well taken care of. I've never seen any doctor go so above and beyond what one could reasonably expect. A final point: they care, they really, really care, about the quality of your smile. They won't cut corners. If you mean serious business about your teeth, this is the only place in Atlanta you need to be. Make it happen. read more

The best of the best! I've already recommended Kaplan to all my friends. My braces were put on about 6 months ago. I have been to quite a few appointments at Kaplan Orthodontics. Everyone is soooo nice, the waiting room is comfortable and has iPads to use, and my teeth are looking straight and pretty. By following their instructions my braces might be taken off 3 months early. And my Mom appreciates the payment plan they offer. read more

I just moved to Dunwoody from California and was in need of a transfer of service for my Invisalign. I found Dr. Kaplan on Yelp and chose him because of all of the great reviews and because I noticed there were plenty of other adults who also used his services. I called the office and was immediately greeted by a friendly voice which matters greatly to me. I refuse to give my business to anyone who is a jerk. The next phone call I received was from another friendly voice, Laura the coordinator. When I met with Laura I was pleased to know that she is even MORE friendly in person and our conversations led to the understanding that we have commonality outside of the office. When introduced to Dr. Kaplan, I was even more pleased to know that he is just as friendly and outgoing as his staff, and we all had good laughs. He didn't try to rip me off or seek to scam me for more money, but rather understood my situation and gave me an option that was logical. The comfort level was there, they gained my trust and I can't wait to go back and see them again in 6 months! Thanks for making me feel at home! Dr. Kaplan's energy is contagious! There is nothing more satisfying to me than to be around happy people. The office is filled with happy people! Thank you! See you all again in 6 months. read more

Jason Kaplan and his staff are the most trustworthy and professional individuals you will come across. My daughter's teeth look great thanks to Kaplan Orthodontics and my son is about to begin his treatment. Parking is a breeze. Appointments are easy to get and easy to change if needed. Wait times are short. They get you in quickly when something unexpected happens, like a loose wire. Look no further. read more

I came to Dr. Kaplan in April for Invisalign. One of the best decisions I have ever made! Dr. Kaplan and his staff are not only knowledgable, but they have always been consistently friendly and helpful. For instance, I needed to lower my monthly payment and the assistant I spoke with did it for me with no problems and was super accommodating and nice! Even when I said I could go back up in January, she gave me until February just in case. Iit is completely worth the drive from Gwinnett for him to be my orthodontist. I recommend him 100% and hope he expands his practice. read more

As a teenager, I had braces and received a retainer at the end of the process. Of course, I didn't wear my retainer as I should have. Now, ten years later, my teeth have slightly shifted. I went to Dr. Kaplan to find out what options I had to help realign my teeth. I brought with me my existing retainers, thinking they could be evaluated and possibly reused. While my visit started out nice with a tour of the office and an introduction to each technician, by the end of it, I felt awful. Dr. Kaplan never even bothered to look at my existing retainers and told me that I needed to go through another round of braces. Now, although my teeth aren't picture-perfect straight as they were 10 years ago, they aren't terrible. I probably am the only one who really notices the difference. However, i left the office feeling like my smile was just atrocious. And the idea of having to go through braces again as an adult was not an option. Not to mention it was several thousands of dollars. Even just to get two new retainers was about $1000. I didn't feel that Dr. Kaplan listened to me. I wasn't looking for perfection, but that seemed to be the only option for him - that and making money. Luckily, I was able to find another orthodontist who was able to use one of my existing retainers and only charged $250 for making a the new one I needed. I left his office feeling much better. He went over the different options with me and really took into consideration that I was an adult who didn't want to have metal braces nor could easily afford Invisilign. I know others have posted having a great experience with Dr. Kaplan, which may certainly be the case. I, however, would not recommend him if you are an adult just looking to slightly correct or to just keep things in place. read more

We've been coming to Dr. Kalpan's for 6 years, through all 3 of our kids. We are very pleased with the results!

Haven't even been to this dentist but the office staff is incompetent. Originally made an appointment for ortho consult per instructions from my general dentist. The appointment was supposed to be for after my oral surgery. Oral surgeon wasn't able to get me an appointment so I called on Thursday to cancel the appointment. I told the lady that I needed to cancel for now and make an appointment after I see my oral surgeon. Whoever I spoke with clearly stated that my appointment was cancelled. This morning I get a call saying that I am late or no show to my appointment and that if I want to reschedule it will be a 100.00 fee. Ridiculous. Seems that I'll have to find a different orthodontist. read more

I have never felt more welcomed and comfortable in a dental facility until my service w/ Dr. Kaplan's office. Everyone on the staff is friendly, efficient, and willing to help in any way they can. From my first appointment to the last, I felt like I was informed of everything and there was even a few times when the receptionist checked me in before I walked into the door. I was really happy with the results of my Invisalign treatment and easy they made it from payments to getting more cases or chewies if I needed! I would definitely recommend this office. read more

From the moment you walk into the practice, the staff greets you with a smile. There was no wait, and we were taken on a tour of the facility. This guy is a joke! I highly do not recommend going here, especially if you are an adult. I only needed braces for a few months, as my teeth were already not too terrible. When it was all over, I felt like I spent thousands of dollars for nothing... Not happy! My teeth are pretty much in the same position as they were before treatment. When I expressed my concerns to Dr. Kaplan, he and the rest of the office began treating me differently. Their customer service went way down and I would watch how they interacted with other patients, which was much more pleasant than when they worked with me. I felt so uncomfortable every time I would have to come in. Also, I'm sure they have a lot of patients, but Dr. Kaplan would act like he remembered my treatment plan specifically from visit to visit; however, what he would tell me in the previous visit would be totally different from what he was saying at the moment. Unfortunately, it got to the point where I could see that my teeth were not benefiting from anything this man called himself doing. He made promises but his methods just did not work. How unfortunate. I had the braces taken off so that I could go and find a REAL doctor. Ultimately, this was a HUGE and COMPLETE waste of my time, and more importantly, my money! read more

Dr. Kaplan and staff are amazing! They have made a not so fun experience (braces) a super fun experience. Dr. Kaplan is so fantastic- he photo bombed our last braces picture -which made us laugh for days. Every time you walk into the office you are seen on time with the utmost professionalism. We have had a great experience. I highly recommend to friends and family!! We have enjoyed it and will be here for our second round!!!!

Would NOT recommend...I feel the practice nickle and dimed me for EVERYTHING. I decided to get a retainer from Dr Kaplan and a few months later my dentist told me it was negatively impacting my gums and causing recession so I went in to get it fixed and was charged a $50 office visit. It also broke after 2 years due to crappy manufacturing and I went in to get it fixed and he said I'd have to pay the ENTIRE amount all over again...after 2 years...time for a NEW orthodontist. read more

If there is the option to put 10 stars down I would for Dr. Kaplan and his staff. I am so impressed with how friendly, organized and professional this orthodontics office is. From the moment you walk in you are greeted with a smile and the kids need to sign in the and brush their teeth before they are called back. The waiting room has everything a parent needs i.e. coffee waters great magazines. The children have a wall full of iPads to play on while they're waiting. The checkout process is been left. Both of my daughters have been to Dr. Kaplan's office and their teeth look fantasticand I have no problem getting a day and time that works for me. I did ck other dentist. The check-out process is seamless and I have no problem getting amy next appt at a day and time that works for me. This is how ALL medical practices should be run - a very well-organized office, excellent communication, and top level care. Highly principled caregiver. Before starting braces from our oldest daughter - she has a very complicated set of issues including jaw alignment and palate problems, not just crooked teeth - we asked for recommendations from friends. EVERYONE said "Kaplan". We checked into one other place before starting at Kaplan, and trying to get the technical information about my daughter's case was like...well, pulling teeth. At Kaplan Ortho, they will give you the information you need up front, as well as keep you updated all the way through. Our first round of braces finished up several months ahead of schedule, so in NO way do I believe that this practice would somehow try to drag out treatment for money reasons. We are now on round two and handling the tougher issues of the jaw, and again, the flow of information is great, and we can clearly see improvement in our daughter's smile. Daughter #2 also is headed for braces and the initial evaluation and follow-ups every 6 months don't cost a dime - so they are waiting for the time to be right for us to start. Aside from all of that, Kaplan Ortho is active in our community as school and sport team supporter, both in money AND his time. Dr. Kaplan himself has come personally to Girl Scout meetings to talk about healthy teeth, and brought fun visuals for the young girls. I cannot recommend this practice any more highly. read more

Dr. Kaplan is a superstar in the world of orthodontists. My daughter and husband both went to him for treatment (daughter - 2 phases of regular braces and hubby - Invisalign) and both have incredible smiles now. We loved how personable and professional Dr. Kaplan is. He puts every patient at ease, makes them smile (beautifully!), and is very communicative with his patients. I agree with another reviewer that Dr. Kaplan is a perfectionist and makes sure he gives his patients the results that they want. He also gives you 100% of his attention when he is working with you. All of the staff at his office are very friendly, caring, and easy to work with. We loved the the office is so modern and fun. The kids actually look forward to their appointments! Thank you Dr. Kaplan - we will be back as soon as our younger daughter is ready for braces! read more

I am a 35 year old female getting my braces done at Kaplan Orthodontics. The staff is very friendly, efficient and just plain sweethearts. I was so embarrassed about getting my braces done at this age, but they made the whole experience so enjoyable. Between the jokes going back and forth between Dr. Kaplan and the staff, I never feel as if I am at an Orthodontist's. Rather I feel as if I am among friends. I have gotten consultations from four other orthodontists in different areas and Dr. Kaplan's prices are nowhere higher or lower. I have and will refer patients to him anytime and greatly recommend anyone out there who wants to get a great smile to see Dr. Kaplan. read more

Dr. Kaplan and his staff are in a league of their own. From the state of the art facilities to the smiling faces every time we visit, Kaplan Orthodontics makes every visit as fun as visiting an Orthodontist could possibly be. We have been working with Kaplan Orthodontics since 2007 and from the initial consultation, I knew this would be where my daughter's smile would be made beautiful. Dr. Kaplan never tried to sell us on services that were unnecessary to correcting my daughters alignment issues, in fact, he always provided us several different options and price points to consider. She had an expander first and later followed up with Invisalign leaving her with amazing results. We had an issue with her permanent retainer which Dr. Kaplan fixed immediately and without question. This is a practice that stands behind their work. I am also proud to be a client of a practice that takes giving back so seriously. From patient appreciation events to local sponsorships of different teams and organizations, Dr. Kaplan is a star within our community! I can not say enough good things about this practice and Dr. Kaplan. Anyone needing orthodontic care can rest assured you will receive the highest quality from Dr. Kaplan!
