While I could not care less, I went along; we had healthy teeth and just wanted to do our routine dental checkups, since they were covered by my dental insurance. Long story short, the bill arrived a few days later, and they invoiced us around $800 after deducting what the insurance paid. Most charges were rejected by the insurance provider as they were not considered part of a routine inspection. When I confronted them about these charges, they simply threatened to send my file to a collection agency rather than explain why they provided services that were never requested. Avoid this office at all costs. They look at you as a piggy bank and try to collect whatever they can, for services that you never need to begin with.

I had a terrible accident which resulted in my cracking four of my front teeth. One of which was almost completely gone. I fell face first into the pavement after my dog, as her leash tripped me up. Needless to say I was in immense pain and scared to death from the look of my face, and lacerations . I immediately started looking up dentists after I finally got myself somewhat together and to no surprise I mostly got voicemail boxes instead of talking to a live person. Then I contacted Dr. Toral's office. She answered and took the details of my incident. She then made me an appointment for later the same day! Again on a Sunday! She immediately got me in, gave me a preliminary exam, and prescribed me medication to help with the terrible pain. She was very thorough and reconstructed my teeth good as new in no time! I will forever be grateful to her and her amazing team for their patience, diligence, kindness, and meticulous work making this experience as pleasant as possible. Thank God for leading me to this place. They have a new customer out of me, as I will continue to go here for my regular dentist work as well from now on. Please if you are looking for a dentist look no further. Dr. Toral and her amazing and super sweet staff are top notch! They take their time with each and every patient. You are in good hands here! I was clearly told that a cleaning and x-ray would cost $199. I specifically asked in advance who would be performing the cleaning and even took the time to check her reviews. But when I arrived, I was told someone else would be doing the cleaning--someone I hadn't researched or been informed about beforehand. I've never felt so uncomfortable or unsettled during any of my dental cleaning in the past 30 + years When I arrived, I was shocked to be told that the cleaning would actually cost $850, plus the $199 for x-rays and examination. When I asked for clarification, I was told the $199 only covered x-rays and an exam--no cleaning included. This is completely misleading and feels like a bait-and-switch tactic. I've had my teeth professionally cleaned once a year for many years, and dentists consistently comment on how well I maintain my oral hygiene. Charging $850 for a routine cleaning + $199 is outrageous and unjustified. On top of that, the staff was rude and dismissive when I questioned the pricing. Misleading billing practices and poor communication…read more I had a very disappointing experience with Stone Dental Associates. I was quoted $400 at the time of service for a deep cleaning that I was told was necessary. I paid that amount in full before the appointment, assuming everything was settled. Weeks later, I received an unexpected $1,200 bill after my insurance determined the procedure wasn't necessary. I then had to request the office to dispute the charges, and after all of that, I still ended up being billed another $400 because they said one quadrant of my cleaning wasn't covered. At no point was it explained that the total cost could change so drastically or that I might be responsible for so much more after paying upfront. This experience felt misleading and frustrating, and I would caution anyone considering this office to make sure you get a clear, written estimate and confirmation of insurance coverage before agreeing to treatment.
