When I get treatment they offer me a list of items I can have such as a blanket, water, the remote to the tv and several other items. They provide me with glasses for my treatment and a hot towel to clean my face. I definitely don't mind visiting the office when I typically go running.

Everything looks great and I suppose is intended to be impressive with all the latest tech etc. but when a customer experiences as many issues, mishaps, lack of communication, etc. as I have, then none of that matters. I would encourage the office to focus on the level of service provided to your customers and a little less on having all the latest gizmos. Anyone that believes any of that matters while delivering the poorest customer experience ever (what a title to inherit) is sadly mistaken. I literally picked the office due to the glowing reviews but I would advise anyone who likes to avoid hassle and headache to absolutely stay away. Involving the office manager has not seemed to have made the least bit of difference either. I cannot wait for my treatment to be done (IF that EVER happens) so I can find somewhere else in a hurry. I found Dr. Johnston at Riverwood Dental and he and his team have managed to calm 50 years of past dental trauma and fear. He is calming, the staff is calming, they offer sedation, and the view from their office near Cumberland Mall, is spectacular, seeing all the way past the king & queen building. Under sedation, Dr. J did the fastest and most gentle cleaning of my life, along with three fillings, and also prepped one tooth for a crown and placed the temporary. In that session I had zero anxiety, and was so relaxed and calm, that I was actually drifting in and out of sleep!! It was such a good experience that I have now switched my whole family to Dr. Johnston and Riverwood Dental.

They seem like an efficient office. They do everything on time. Everyone working there seems to know what they're doing--from the receptionist, the dentist, and the assistants. They are all thorough and professional. I also like it how they have TVs in every room. They also provide you with free toothpaste, toothbrush, and a bottle of water. Dr. McMasters, the dentist is a nice guy. The first visit I had with him was the first time I've seen a dentist in over 15 years. Luckily, I didn't have a cavity. I did have a lot of tarter buildup, however. He removed all the buildup during my normal checkup. Normally, I would have to come in later and pay for a deep dental cleansing. I thought it was cool of him to do it during my regular checkup. The office also has a sign that says, "We cater to cowards." I don't fear the dentist. I'm sure some people do though. The area around the office is pretty hectic though. It's in the intersection of a busy Vinings intersection. The entrance to the office is very small and deceiving. It's actually next to the Orient Express Entrance. Don't make the mistake and go into Orient Express or you'll have to drive out and brave the traffic again. And no, you can't just park at Orient Express because you might get towed. Leaving the office is also kinda confusing. You have to go through the gate and turn right. Then you can find your way to Paces Ferry Rd. But leaving the parking lot seems much easier than going in.

I recently joined the app Next Door. While browsing I ran across a post about locating a good dentist. Several neigbors mentioned that Dr. Gavric was amazing. I value reviews and made the decision to check out this dentist. I submitted a request for an appointment online after hours. to my surprise, I received a call early the next business day. The staff member obtained my insurance information and scheduled me for an appointment with no problem. A few days later I received a text with the paperwork I needed to complete. On the day of my visit, I received another text message to advise that I should call the office upon my arrival and the staff would let me know when I could come up for my appointment. The office is located in a great location. Its in very close proximety to the Braves Stadium and located on the 2nd floor of the building. You do have to grab a ticket when you enter the gate to park, however the parking is free for up to 2 hours! After arriving and making the call to advise I was present, I received a return call in less than 5 minutes indicating I could enter the office. I was greeted by friendly faces when I walked in(after having my temperature checked at the door). I had a very small wait to see the dental hygenist. I am going to take the blame for the wait- I forgot to complete the Covid pre-screen and had to complete it in the waiting area. Amanda was my dental hygenist. She was very engaging, friendly, and informative. She explained everything to me in layman's terms. After getting x-rays, and having my teeth cleaned I was seen by Dr. Garvic. She had a great bedside manner. I felt like I was talking with a friend. It was very refreshing. I had a small concern with a filling that was done by my prior dentist. She was eager to check it out for me and did a quick adjustment. She even let me know that if I continue to have the symptoms I was experiencing I can call back and she will do another adjustment if needed. At my old dentist's office, I was always given fluoride that I had to pay $30 for at each visit. I asked Amanda about it and she advised that fluoride is not typically given to adults unless they are prone to cavities! She let me know that if I wanted it they could give it to me for a fee. I love the fact that she was honest! It looks like I am going to be $60 richer over the next few years! My first visit was a success and I do see this being my dentist for years to come. I appreciate that every staff I encountered was friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. Additionally, I love the fact that there was no upselling and that my service was rendered promptly.
