However, upon arrival, he informed me he intended to drag the vehicle before placing it on the flatbed, which could have caused damage to my car's electrical system. This directly contradicted what was communicated to dispatch and raised serious concerns about proper handling procedures. When I contacted the company to address the issue, the manager responded in an unprofessional manner. He became hostile, raised his voice, and refused to provide his name when requested. This behavior is unacceptable and does not meet basic standards of customer service or accountability. I am requesting that this incident be formally investigated. I would also like clarification on the company's towing procedures and assurance that drivers are following proper protocols to avoid potential vehicle damage. A complaint has already been filed with AAA, and I will be pursuing this further through consumer protection channels if necessary. He then stated he was going to take his mandatory 30-minute break and said he was legally allowed to leave his truck in the middle of the road, continuing to block access. His tone felt unnecessarily aggressive given that I was simply asking for help resolving the situation. I then called the company directly to ask if they could contact the driver and have him move the truck. The woman answering phones was also rude and said "I HOPE YOU DON'T GET SHOT," implying she wanted me TO GET SHOT! It was a bizarre response when I simply asked her to have the driver move his truck ten feet. We sat there 20 minutes as he stood around not putting the car on the tow truck. At that point, I felt uncomfortable enough that I contacted law enforcement and filed a report.
