This review is for the Arte Museum in Las Vegas. I have…read moremixed emotions about this review because it was an interesting concept and had some enjoyable features, but as I left I felt it fell flat overall. Here it goes: This is not easy to find - check prior to heading over to ensure you know where you are going. The price is not cheap for the small size of the Museum. If you add a taxi/UBER/LYFT to get there it may be too pricy for the end product. It is your money - you decide. Once inside after checking in, there are several rooms you enter in a self-guided manner. The flow of the walking is ONE direction. Therefore, if you felt like you wanted to see something again, you would be going against traffic. If you have issues with vertigo or balance, this is perhaps not the Museum for you. There is lots of glass and things moving against tiles and glass and we found ourselves stopping to catch our balance a couple of times. In some rooms, prior to entering, although there are signs up saying "do not block doorway" everyone did trying to get pictures or videos making it hard to enter. There were not any staff inside the Museum directing people accordingly. Also, some of the guests were actually sitting on the floor to take videos of themselves as if they were sitting in water - this only created a road block for those who were trying to move on. Each room is unique and some are more "active" and larger in size than others. There is one area where you can color a page, scan it in, and it will become part of the animation. We waited 10 minutes for a seat to participate and none became available, so we left that area disappointed. The cafe, as other reviewers have noted, was a disappointment. They showcase it on their website as something very much different than it is. The man working the cafe counter the day we were there evidentially did not enjoy his job. I don't know why he stays if he is that unhappy. The cafe indicates: A feast of live garnish expressed with media art on attractive drink and dessert menus. I guess we missed this part! LOL! The latte we were served was about 1/3 of a cup - if we would have poured it out into a measuring cup. For $7 that is not worth it - pass on that folks. There is a sign on the cafe table indicating you can use it (after you have purchased items there) for 10 minutes. And they mean it!! A very small bottle of what they call "rainwater" was $5.00. Who in the world would buy that - but we saw people with it. Maybe they got it for a souvenir? Speaking of the souvenir shop: It was unique - there were many items priced under $10 or $15. So, if you really wanted something, you could find something at a reasonable price. I would check out the videos people have posted on YouTube to decide if this is worth the investment for yourself. We were in and out in an hour to give you an idea of how much you are spending for an hour of your time.

Growing up in Las Vegas, it has been amazing watching Ghost Adventures shine a spotlight on this city and introduce people around the world to the incredible history, stories, and fascinating individuals connected to the paranormal. Vegas is so much more than the Strip, and places like this really showcase the mysterious and extraordinary side of the city. Walking into the Haunted Museum, the excitement immediately took over--but once I was inside, I was genuinely blown away. Seeing so many incredible and infamous artifacts up close was surreal, especially knowing the stories and history behind them. There is so much to take in, and you can truly feel the atmosphere as you walk through the different rooms. I also want to give a huge shoutout to the staff! Everyone I encountered was welcoming, friendly, and made the experience even better. After exploring the museum, I had to stop by the gift shop, where I picked up some of their awesome rosaries. They make such a cool keepsake from the experience. For a longtime fan, this was definitely a bucket-list experience. Whether you've been following the show for years or you're simply fascinated by the paranormal, history, and the unexplained, I absolutely recommend visiting Zak Bagans' Haunted Museum when you're in Las Vegas. A must-visit for any paranormal fan! Las Vegas wouldn't be the same without the fascinating stories and experiences that make it so unique.

Wow, I've got a lot of opinions about this one…read more The hard and long upsell at the beginning when you are near the box office to upgrade is super offputting. Like thirty minutes of being held hostage is a real horror. Also, the selfies that you can take with the ring light cost $12 lol. They try to convince you to buy a Polaroid camera that can take up to 10 photos and that's also scammy. They take a dollar from you when they ask you if you would be willing to be tribute in one of the first rooms for a fortune reading. For the price that this is I think it is pretty insane at how much of a money grab they continued to be There is a ton of stuff to look at and sometimes I wish there was a little bit more time without the tour guide. But the tour is super long as it is and everyone that ended up buying the VIP said that it was not worth it. If you are sensitive to smell, I will have to warn you that the rooms are heavily perfumed. We didn't do the maze because apparently the clown was on lunch break. They should've given some of our money back because we didn't get the full experience. All in all, thé capitalize on spirits and glorify serial killers. Kinda weird. I am glad I did it once but will not be coming back. Candy man, the security guard was awesome though.

We chose to go on a Tuesday, the fewer people the better for us. Parking was $8. This is right down there by the Old Downtown, Fremont, the Nugget. Each floor has its own notoriety in the time frame/ era. The displays are informative, a lot of reading. Tour guide headsets are available too, we found the docents were very knowledgable. I asked them if they knew where the term "86ed" came from? There are quit a few "actual items", the St Valentines Day Wall...some Tommy sub-machine guns, and other bits and bob's of stuff. I didn't see any wax figurines of the bad guys for photo op's. They did take Pic's in a Line Up setting $15-$35 depending. No actual cars or vehicles, I like the tactile stuff. I guess Bonnie & Clyde don't qualify. Certainly the Mob Hall is a fun, once is enough venue to see. We made sure to stop at the speak easy in the basement. Our kids loved all the interactive exhibits, especially the fossil dig, the moving sand table, and the hands-on play areas. There was plenty to keep them engaged, and they also enjoyed seeing the dinosaurs, marine life, and live animals throughout the museum. Admission: Around $15 for adults and $7 for children (ages 3-11). Kids 2 and under are free, making it an affordable family outing. Parking: Free parking is available, which was a huge plus. Tips: * Plan for about 2-3 hours to see everything. * The hands-on exhibits are the highlight, so allow extra time for those. * Great indoor activity, especially during the hot Las Vegas summer. The museum isn't huge, which is why I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5, but it's clean, well maintained, and offers a fun, educational experience for young children. We'd definitely recommend it to families visiting Las Vegas!

Once on a Saturday afternoon and the other on a Friday afternoon. Both times we visited we arrived a little early for our entrance time slot. On both visits they allowed us to come in earlier than our time slot. We were a party of 4. We spent about 3 hours just enjoying and absorbing everything in the supermarket downstairs as well as the different portals and works of art upstairs. We enjoyed the different landscapes, secret passages and optical illusions. We also enjoyed the long high slide. After spending our time here experiencing Omega Mart Meow Wolf we decided to go around the supermarket to purchase their unique merchandise and products as souvenirs. We will be back in December to experience this all over again with our friends and family. We are so looking forward to it. Omega Mart by…read moreMeow Wolf is one of many paid exhibits in AREA15 and there is a lot of social media buzz around this exhibit. In fact Meow Wolf plans to open another exhibit in Los Angeles in late 2026. [Parking]: The designated parking lot for AREA15 requires visitors to scan a QR code and download Metropolis to park. The parking rate was $6.99 ($6 for the day with $0.99 service fee) for one day; however I was not a fan of scanning a QR code for paid parking as I had trouble trying to pay via the Metropolis app and required multiple payment attempts before I got the app to work. [Admission ticket]: Our party purchased an online ticket just for Omega Mart for approximately $55 per person and had to pick a time slot (our party picked 2:20 PM). Our party was able to enter 15 minutes ahead of the slotted time. [Experience]: Omega Mart is separated into two major sections - the front end which is the grocery store section selling gimmick souvenirs and the hidden back end (entered via secret passageways) with various rooms to explore. Each room in the back had random flashing lights, sound effects, and interactive stations with buttons to push for special effects. The back-end section has two floor levels. I personally liked the 2nd level a little bit more than the 1st level but not by that much. Unfortunately some interactive stations had buttons that didn't work and it also didn't help that most of these interactive machines provided no instructions. The interactive stations were fairly crowded and I was not able to learn whatever story this interactive exhibit was trying to convey (apparently there's lore behind Omega Mart and I was not invested enough to spend 3+ hours learning the whole detailed story). [Amenity] Restrooms are available inside Omega Mart. [Conclusion]: Overall, the experience was too abstract for my taste and it was one expensive experimental exhibit. It felt like one day someone got really high and decided to put together something trippy. Maybe 5 year old kids would be entertained by some of these effects, but I didn't see any appeal in this exhibit as I kept thinking "what's the whole point of this so called art exhibit?" Personally it was a very sloppy art exhibit and one of the worst paid interactive experiences I can remember. While one can spend 1 - 2 hours exploring the entire exhibit (or 3+ hours to learn about the lore), our party ultimately stayed for less than 45 minutes. P.S. - There are other Meow Wolf locations across the U.S. (Santa Fe, Denver, Grapevine, and Houston), so the experience here in Vegas may not necessarily reflect the experience at other locations.
