They quickly give you directions on where to find items as you enter. I stopped in to buy items for my teenage daughter's room and they have a wealth of items to help decorate for room decor. Lots of items to choose from for a good value. I ended up buying organization bins, pillows, a lantern as well as party supplies for her upcoming birthday. It was nice to see so many items hands on to start putting together a new theme for her room. Their Easter items caught my eye and I bought a cute welcome mat for the front door. They had adorable Easter bunnies as well that came in bright vibrant colors as well as muted greenery with bows. They also had the ever popular wooden panels to decorate your front porch. I also spotted a variety of patio cushions in a variety of colors and with the warm weather we have had recently I did venture to check out their items to update my patio furniture cushions.

The amount would have been about $14. I spoke with Michele, middle aged African American female, at the cashier's counter. There were no customers behind me, and she was the only cashier at the time. I explained what I stopped by for, and she did not appear to want to understand what I was telling her. I noticed her starting to be rude, and I requested to speak with a manager. She started to raise her voice, and I asked her not to do that. She started pointing her finger at me and stated, "do not try me, today is not the day". Her whole attitude caught me off guard, and she even said that she would have me taken to jail. She also stated that I may have found the store gift card on the floor and was trying to get some money. I told her not to question my integrity. I walked away from the counter and waited on a manager. Kevin appeared, and as I started to speak with him, she tried to interject herself in our conversation. I asked Kevin to step farther away from her counter, so that we could have a conversation. At that point, I told Kevin that I was no longer concerned about the inactivated store credit, and that I was more concerned about Michelle's very negative attitude and demeanor towards me. She blew things out of proportion and I didn't take kindly to that. I had been a customer since the store's soft opening, and had never had a negative experience like this. Kevin advised that I call the number on the back of the store gift card, as he was very limited on what he could do without a receipt. It's extremely disappointing to see someone like Michelle, working at At Home, who is very unprofessional, clearly dislikes her job, and is definitely not suited for a customer facing environment. Customers come here to have a nice shopping experience while searching for the right items for their home. Michele's lack of customer service damages At Home's reputation, and upper management should seriously reconsider keeping employees like this.

Imagine my surprise when I realized that the "roof" was open netting that let in the rain. Great for thirsty plants and not so much for me, lol. We had to make a choice on a mattress in a hurry with little help from him. Once we purchased it, we loaded up our mattress and took it home. We slept on it one night and it was terrible. So we called the next day and asked if we could switch it out. The woman who answered also seemed agitated we called, was rude on the phone, offered us no option for replacement and just basically told us to kick rocks. I am incredibly surprised by the behavior of both of them, especially since they didn't want to even attempt to help us. My husband hasn't slept properly on this mattress in weeks. I plan on reporting them since they won't help in an exchange. I wish the person who ran it before was still working there. My husband has a bad back and neck and we are not a family of means. I wish we could get help.

They also have yard sculpture pieces outside that I did not look at. They have good prices on some really good looking cabinets, as well as doors of all kinds. We have a older house, and so will be slowly renovating. DHW will be our first priority of places to come to for that vintage look, as well as the current stuff.
