It had to happen at some point since moving down here, and as much as I hate having to rate a place low and trying to find something positive to be optimistic about, this location sadly misses the mark. I walked into this location and walked out to never look back. The appearance, I don't want to say it was gaudy or strange, but definitely it didn't look like much. I assume they were going for the thrift store look, but even thrift shops are more appealing. This was a wide open square with basically clothing racks for rows and signs swaying gently from the ceiling. I needed new shirts for my job and this was one place I stopped to see if they had anything. I was clearly lost but no employee batted an eye in this seemingly empty space at the time. When I found the sign that said "men's", assuming this was the section for men's clothing, I went there and was greeted by a wide assortment of women's clothing. Basically, this just seemed to be one big, unorganized space with employees only at the cash stand and no employees walking around to help customers. Like I said before regarding the appearance, it was just so simple and where I may adore simple, this was so simple that it looked like the sections were really thrown together without much thought. Seeing as how I was on a time crunch, I walked out the doors and decided to go to Khol's instead. This is my first time at this Ross location. I can't say that it will bring me back again. I was on a mission for my Mother and I didn't find what she wanted. So I thought I'd briefly explore the store. I'd compare the store concept as a low end T.J. Maxx but the majority of their merchandise is clothing with some lingerie, shoes and home decor. I found a couple cheap summer tops and decided to try them on. The two women "controlling" the dressing room were incredibly rude. No one was directly at the dressing room entrance. Suddenly two women are yelling repeatedly, Ma'am Stop! I had no idea you had to HANG your items on a rack before they would count, then take once they release. I was instructed to replace the number OVER the clothes hangers before returning with them regardless if I was purchasing. They were just as rude when I was leaving the dressing room area. This wasn't my first time in a dressing room nor did their tone need to be so harsh with all of us. As I was standing in the return line the woman "controlling" the security or line was harsh and abrupt with several other customers. I dropped off the clothing and left the store. Hopefully, someone will provide customer service education to these employees. read more

Was at this location yesterday and saw a watch in the display case I was interested in but decided to pass. Today I decided I would like to purchase it if it was still available. I called the store, an associate answered hello, not thank You for calling Ross...etc. I explained that I was in there yesterday and had seen a watch and was wondering if someone can check and see if it was still available and she said yes and put me on hold. Fast forward a bit and she comes back and tells me I will have to come in and look....mind you their telephone is right there behind that counter. I very seldom visit and Ross store much less this location bc they tend to be unorganized and messy 1/2 the time. Excuse the typos, rant over. read more

Yikes. This store has a lot of space, but the selection is very sparse. I was looking for some socks and it was slim pickins and pretty disorganized, which I find surprising as it was early afternoon on a weekday when I visited. But hey, I did find a pack of 3 pairs in the style that I was looking for, along with 2 pairs of knee high socks with Imperial Stormtroopers on them, which cost me under $10 altogether. The cashiers kept the line moving, but they all sounded like prison guards, barking "Next customer at #4 please!" every so often. It didn't help that there was a loss prevention officer near the exit, eyeing everyone to make sure no one steals anything. Not exactly the friendliest place to go shopping. read more

You can make your home look like you spend a lot of money on the decorations from high end stores by shopping at Ross. Not only can you find unique exotic home decor but you don't have to spend more than a few dollars. In addition I really liked the staff there. They did not give me a hard time when I tried to return something that I had bought months ago. The staff is courteous and professional. I got all the pieces from the picture from Ross except for the glass. read more

I wanted to go to a Ross while I was in town since I've only gone to one in Vegas. This one seemed to have a very limited selection of everything. We were there near closing time which is 11pm (!!) so it was only a couple of other people in the store. There were a few items I considered purchasing but changed my mind at the last minute. The people I was with purchased a few items though so it wasn't totally a wasted trip. read more

My wife purchased two items from this location of Ross at $12.99 and $14.99. She then fell unconscious on November 17th and died on December 4th. I went in today to try and exchange those items for store credit, and in spite of my explanation about the circumstances, and why I didn't have the receipt, they offered me only $0.49. I understand that policies exist for a reason, but managers exist to make decisions, and the lack of compassion shown for my circumstances means that I will absolutely never come back. I hope Ross Dress for Less feels like saving $27 was worth the cost. read more

I call this place the professional garage sale. There's a lot of random products everywhere and you have to dig to find what you're looking for.if you're patient you can find some decent clothes, but nothing like the commercial. But if you're looking for a hat, this is the absolute best place to go for awesome hats fitted and snapback for really cheap, as long as you don't mind the teams that are there. The housewares section usually has some pretty good fines, but I've never seen the employees happy to be there. read more

I am appalled at the experience i just had. I went into this store and had about 150 dollars worth of stuff for my grandkids. My grandson wanted a 8.99 watch that was locked up. I stood at that counter for ten minutes and was ignored. I made eye contact with three people who just kept on with their other tasks. Finally a lady asked to help. She retrieved the watch but wouldnt give it to me. She told me to get in line and she would help me at the register. When i arrived there she asked if i was checking out to which i answered yes. She then told me that i eas in the return lane. I reminded her hat she told me to come to her and she wouldnt trust me with the watch. She refused to allow me to purchase my things telling me i had to get into the other lane. I asked to speak to the manager and the guard said she is the manager. I left my merchandise in the cart. She said have a nice day and walked away. Shameful. Shame on Ross for having that quality of leadership. For me, I will never spend another dime in their dirty nasty store. There are plenty of stores who value me and my hard earned money. The end. read more

If only I could give a 1 star. Manager Yvette is the rudest person I've ever met in retail. I should have been the person upset returning a shirt I previously purchase & the sales associate neglected to take off the security piece on dress shirt. I purchased this shirt for my husband for Capt ball on cruise & didn't realized until that night on cruise the security lock was on shirt. We could not attend Capt ball. Manager was so rude & not even an apology for their error. Please, please, if you buy anything from Rosenberg Ross, make sure they remove all security tags. Manager needs additional training. Hope someone in corporate recognizes the inexcusable unprofessional service Yvette the manager shows customers. No excuse at all. I will encourage friends & family not to shop there. read more

Mariel the front end supervisor might be one of the rudest woman I have ever come across. This woman had the audacity to ask me to get my restless 3 year old from peeking over the counter after being skipped in the return line twice. Not to mention this was a long line that we stood in with only one person (her) working. What's the point of saying, Welcome To Ross when you "the supervisor" is extremely uninviting. read more
