I purchased an item from SuperNova Furniture in Rosenberg and paid the full price upfront. I was told the item would arrive at the store within a few days, but it never did. When I returned to ask about it, I was told the item had supposedly arrived the day after my purchase and that they had tried to contact me. This was untrue--no call was ever made, and no item was ever delivered to the store. To this day, I have not received the item I paid for. My experience has been marked by misinformation and lack of accountability. I would not recommend this location based on how this situation was handled. read more

My family had a terrible experience here with Deya who was helping us. The overall attitude was not professional. There was a man sleeping in the store and the salesperson's behavior was erratic and distracted-she was more interested in her phone than in helping us. The atmosphere felt uncomfortable. This is not professional and especially around children.This tells me this establishment has questionable hiring practices. Because of the unprofessional staff and disrespectful service, we decided not to purchase anything and will not be going back. I am only posting this to provide information for those that may be in the market to pursuance new furniture after moving into the area. My personal experience with delivery was horrible. 2 men came to my home and 1 was upset when walking in with the furniture and in Spanish was saying curse words and saying racist remarks at myself which I assume he did thinking I did not know Spanish. I ordered a living room set by them and one of the items was missing an arm rest, punctures in the fabric, and the other two had bent frames. After attempting to call them over 3 times to get a resolution and trying to send emails they only responded back after about 1-2 weeks after I had issued a dispute with the credit card company. At that point I just wanted to return the items for a refund and get this experience over with. During the dispute they also provided false information regarding their own attempts to contact me as on those days I was working and never even got a call. I never got a resolution to the bent metal frames and am disappointed with the whole experience and if you shop here just be very cautious and learn from my very expensive mistake. After my experience I of course will not be purchasing from here again. The value is not worth it. read more

Idk where to start first off i went a few months ago to look at the furniture and was followed around the store no hi or welcome in they told me not to touch or sit on anything... how am i supposed to buy something if idk how it feels HERES THE PART THAT SHOCKED ME!!!! Im not allowed to sit on a couch but the employees can lay on a bed and be on their phone and another one can have a full on meal on a dinning table also don't trust the colors that are shown on their computer we ordered a brown table turns out its black and we can't return it so disappointed also the lady in the front named deya is literally wearing nike slides and socks... i think that says enough about the type of service you will receive so disappointed to think that my money went down the drain for something i didn't like is sad and i talked to the people who came and build the table told us that there have been several complaints about the lady in the front but guess what im assuming she cant get fired because her dads the manager lmao also apparently we cant talk to the owner we just cant because shes old and went home to sleep??? I wouldn't even give this place one star. I posted a google review at the very beginning of this process because they asked me to and I was happy that I was ordering the furniture I thought was beautiful. My sales person was Manuel. I initially ordered on 2/28 even taking a picture of the exact living room set I ordered. They told me I would be "a month or two" before it would come in due to shipping issues etc. I was understanding and it gave me time to think of what to do with my current set. I call at the beginning of April to check as I had not heard anything. Just a word of advice, it is EXTREMELY hard to get ahold of anyone who knows anything. I would speak to ANA the owner, Cindy in the warehouse but could never speak to anyone in the store. But after making several calls I was told the furniture would be delivered April 28. Come April 27 I call to get an ETA on delivery and was told I would have to call back on the day of delivery after 10am to get an ETA. I work nights and April 27 was the day after my first of 7 night work stretch. I call at approx 1130 and was told no, it would be April 29th and I would have to call back after 10 to get a time frame. I call back the 29th and they tell me that THEY call ME to set up a delivery time and that I shouldn't have to call THEM. And then proceed to tell me the furniture is not going to be delivered as promised. I go back and forth with Ana the owner and Cindy in the warehouse because getting someone in the actual store is impossible. Ana conveniently loses connection with me and then doesn't answer, doesn't call me back. So I go to the store and speak to Zuni the manager. They immediately call the warehouse and try to tell me they could deliver it Wednesday and when I tell them no, I wanted my furniture 2 days ago they change it to Saturday. Then they say Monday. I tell them if my furniture isn't delivered on Monday then I want a full refund. Because who wants to give a company thousands of dollars for crappy service. I paid nearly $8k cash for this furniture set. I get it in writing that if it isn't delivered on Monday I am entitled to a full refund. Come Monday, they get here and it's the wrong furniture!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Its the wrong color and Looked to be the wrong set. I tell the delivery guys who speak zero English to take it back because they don't need to waste their time bringing in the set when I could tell by the cushions they brought in it was not right. Calling Ana, who doesn't answer (not surprisingly) and getting hold of Zuni in the store was difficult. I speak to Cindy in warehouse who confirms that what was initially ordered was wrong. I finally speak to Zuni who requests the picture of the furniture I actually ordered. Back and forth texts with her she tells me they ordered the wrong furniture. So I tell her I do not want any furniture from them and that I want my refund. I'd rather get my furniture from gallery furniture as I have in the past. Zuni tells me I would receive a credit back to the card I used to pay $600 and I would receive a check for the remaining amount. She told me it would take 2-10 days. Well 3 days later I don't see a credit to my debit or even a pending credit. Haven't heard anything from them. I call the store and surprisingly get someone on the phone who tells me they don't see any notes in there about a refund. She tells me the salesman who I spoke to on Monday no longer works there and I would have to call back tomorrow when Zuni is back. I am patient. However when there is zero communication and no regard for their customers time or concern then I have a problem. Especially since I am giving you my hard earned money!!! I would not recommend this place!!!!! Not to mention when they tried to deliver the wrong furniture it took one look at the cushions to see the couch looked cheap. read more

Terrible and extremely pushy service. I went once alone and a second time with my boyfriend. When I was alone , a SouthAsian woman came up to me offering help and I told her that I was just looking for today. My bf and I are getting our first apartment and visiting various furniture stores. In a rude tone she responded "You come into a furniture store just to look around". I do NOT want to be judged by seeing my options. When I went with my boyfriend we had a kind Hispanic man show us and explain the furniture. HE IS THE ONLY GOOD EMPLOYEE IN THERE. He was not pushy at all and is the only one worth speaking to. The Indian man came up to us as we were near the end of the king Hispanic man's tour and tried to get my bf and I to his computer to place in order. I kindly told him that we aren't prepared to buy anything yet but we will come back once we've made a final decision. He started explaining things I did not ask to be explained to about planning ahead. My boyfriend and I started walking out and this Indian man and two other older men, one Black and one White started quickly pacing towards us yelling at us as if we were stealing something. THIS STORE IS SO BAD AT BEING WELCOMING. MY BOYFRIEND AND I ARE VERY UNCOMFORTABLE WITH THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE IF U CAN CALL IT THAT. this store is NOT worth visiting unless you want to feel belittled and forced to buy something from them. I stopped by to buy furniture for my first ever apartment and I was greeted with rude service and was told "I don't have money to spend there" because they thought I was too young to have the money to purchase furniture. I was kicked out and told to shop at old navy. Do not reccomend this place if you are young looking to furnish your first apartment. read more

Walked in the store just looking for a tv stand for my living room and was able to get other things that were needed for my home. Delivery issues! To say the least, the experience that we have had regarding the purchase of a simple vanity mirror has been a fail. We purchased a vanity which was confirmed to be in stock by the warehouse on 1-2-23. We requested to pick it up at the store but instead they offered to deliver free. We gladly accepted and we're given the instructions to accept the delivery. We received a call saying the vanity was going to be delivered two weeks after the purchase. When no one arrived, I called to get an update the next day only to be told that the phone call was a mistake and that our vanity was still not ready to be delivered. After that, we walked in for updates twice only to be given a run around. I called nearly 4 WEEKS LATER for an update and ended up speaking to the owner. I explained the details of the issue and she asked me to give her a chance to resolve the issue. She made a few calls and found out that what we bought was being discontinued due to a newer model being released. She offered to absorb the cost difference for our troubles and that the new version of the vanity will be delivered. It has now been 4 weeks since that call and still no mirror. I received a call on 2-9 from a rep saying that our mirror was going to be delivered today but that it "fell and broke as they were loading it to the truck" AND that it happened to be the absolute last one they had so we would have to wait an additional 2-4 MORE weeks until the vendor has them available. I called the store to ask for my money back as I am now completely fed up with NOVA FURNITURE, IN ROSENBERG and was told that the owner is on vacation and that we would have to wait 2 more weeks until they return for our reimbursement as she is the only person within the entire company able to approve a reimbursement. Complete nonsense. I messaged the owner letting her know what happened and that I would like to get my reimbursement now so that we can take our business elsewhere and she again said, to give her a chance to fix it..... I have yet to hear back from her. Messaged her again this afternoon with no response. I have been patient and have given this incompetent company more than enough time to fix such a simple issue. I can confirm that the people that represent this place are the typical "closed sale mentality" representatives that are only out to close the sale and off to the next. I'm just glad it was only a $600 vanity and not a $6000 living room set. I can't even imagine how that experience would have gone. If you happen to shop here, beware that they LACK BASIC CUSTOMER SERVICE, COMMUNICATION SKILLS, both with the customer and internal. More of a, buy at your own risk and HOPE you will not need them for anything else. I will update this if Anna, the owner OR a member of the management team at the ROSENBERG LOCATION offer my reimbursement now as opposed to having to continue to be inconvenienced and forced to wait yet TWO MORE WEEKS until Anna returns. read more

After losing all our furniture due to pipe burst in the Freeze of 2021 and our contractor scamming our insurance money. I headed to Super Nova to attempt to replace my husband and our pitties favorite recliner. I purchased the recliner in Jan. Delivery was scheduled for early Feb. I confirmed delivery and waited their 10 hour window. I was called and told the chair fell from the truck and was damaged. I ask for a refund because we had been displaced for a year and I was anxious to get life back to normal asap. I was told no that I would have to wait for the back order. Well its now April and i still have not received the chair....it was scheduled for this past Saturday and after multiple attempts to track it and being told it was on the truck it never showed up yet again! I was told at 6:30 PM that the driver was on the way...I had plans at 6pm and was already late....so I decided to wait another hour to just finally get this behind me. Nope na na no-one ever called or showed up! So Sunday I called and spoke to the owner Ana and she assured me she would get to bottom of this and get me taken care of first thing Monday! Today is Tuesday I've not heard from any one. I feel like they have been lying all along and so I went in the store today at lunch and finally got confirmation that the chair had never made it in and was never on the truck Saturday, I've been promised a refund but some how I doubt it because I was never given a receipt just a verbal that it could be refunded. I've also been given a phone number that no one answers with a v/m that is full and cant leave a message...supposedly this is the number to elevate your complaint to management LOL Beware of integrity and false information.
