Staff was really friendly and helpful: saying hello to everyone who came in, and helping me with my self checkout (I had an item that rang up incorrectly, and one that had a strange price tag on the shelf because it was one of the last ones: see photo). I found gifts, candy, a blind bag, a notepad, chip clips, shampoo, conditioner and toothpaste for under $40. Worth checking out!

POSTER CHILD   This…read morereliable arts & crafts store in Bolingbrook always has some kind of sale going on.   I've stopped into this Hobby Lobby on Weber Rd a couple times to buy frames and canvas art, after noticing the walls in our house had been looking rather bare.  The store itself is pretty sleepy as there's rarely more than 4-5 people shopping at any given time, with only 1-2 staff and a single register open.   The colorful textiles and D.I.Y. fabrics are towards the back of the store, while picture accessories and seasonal things are on the right.  Frames were 50% off when I visited - a 20" x 16" was priced at $6, down from $12 - so I paid considerably less than if I'd gone on Amazon.  The cheap frames fit my needs perfectly.   I also bought two tropical landscapes for the master bathroom.  Their canvas art comes in all kinds of formats, be it a large square or skinny vertical (6" x 36").  Hobby Lobby has an area devoted to Star Wars, Marvel and some DC stuff, plus a nautical/oceany section with anchors, ship wheels, and a very cool holographic shark.  CHOMP!   * TL;DR *   You can usually expect to see some type of discount on Hobby Lobby's merchandise, and that makes them an appealing option as more stores try to compete with online retailers.   My experiences thus far have been quiet but successful.  I'm glad to have a place nearby that carries such a wide assortment of project materials and home décor.

This store has friendly employees and no one seems stressed or pressed for time, which is a good thing. They are obviously busy but take their time helping each customer. However, they do seem to be a little under staffed both on the floor and at the check out registers. Thankfully this store has self check out. Today I was looking for those silly little lent traps that go on the water outlet of everyone's washing machine. I knew they would be in the plumbing area, but those little monsters are hard to find. I asked an employee walking the isles and she led me right to them, bottom middle of a large display. Perfect!

From the lady I talked to on the floor to the folks at the register, very nice customer service! I did encounter a number of times in the clothing area that clothing was in the wrong size area. Whether another customer had stuck it there or it was put there originally, don't know, but it was enough to be noticeable. The housewares areas were very tidy in some sections but then bursting at the seams in other areas (toys, holiday). Don't forget to look for the colored tag that's on discount!

BULLSEYE Whether an…read morein-car pickup or in-store purchase, this Target on Boughton usually hits the mark. My wife loves doing Target runs, and sending me on Target runs (I don't mind the part where I get to sit in my toasty warm car and have stuff brought out to me like a king). Most of the time, the employees have been fast to come out when we can't be bothered to go inside, and they've always been nice. Last trip here, I got blu-rays of The Batman & Everything Everywhere All At Once for $10 each, happy to see recent films at such cheap prices. Now that I think about it, I've found some great items in Target's electronics department, most of them movies at a deep discount. Over the years, we've bought several pieces of light furniture and miscellaneous homegoods from this Target (storage cubes, pantry organizer, can opener) with mostly good experiences. This past Christmas, I gifted my wife a set of tiffany blue cookware and found the color different than what was on the packaging, so that was a bit of a let down. I was ready to dunk on Target for having higher priced groceries (a gallon of milk here is $3.39, compared to $2.06 @ Aldi), then I checked a few other basic necessities (Tabasco, a box of Twinkies) and found that most things cost the same as at Meijer. The shelves here were nearly empty during the pandemic, though, so that discouraged us from doing any significant shopping for a while. Of important note: they don't sell alcohol, so if you're roaming the aisles looking for the liquor section, you can stop looking--it's a 'dry store'. While it doesn't mark the end of the world, the Jewel Osco next door and the Meijer across the street are both well stocked with booze, so Target is the odd man out. * TL;DR * Generally speaking, Bolingbrook's Target is as accurate as one could hope for. This store is much bigger than the one we frequented in Oak Park (despite that location carrying cold beer/seltzers), the workers are friendlier, and the drive-up service is convenient. We'll continue to come here for as long as we live in the area; if Target were an airline, by now my wife would have racked up enough miles for a trip around the planet. Solid store with decent products. I'll be seeing them again real soon, I'm sure.

It's such a waste of time going to customer service for adjustments, this should be a non-issue. I bought some chocolate candies on shelf listed as $5.99, rang up at checkout for $6.19. Had to go to customer service wait in line 15 minutes for my 80 cent adjustment refund. They either don't care or are totally incompetent for the pricing errors to occur as frequently as they do. Check your receipts carefully, Target needs to do better.

And she replied to me, " i know, I'm working on it." With the dirty mad look on her face. And I respond i am just letting you know. I've had that happened to me and it's pain in the butt coming home with that tag and have to go back and get it removed. I asked my husband wasn't she about to put everything in the bag? He said, yes! She was throwing everything in the bag. And he overheard her how she speak to her employees.
