Quick in and out. Came to drop off a couple bags for donation. One lane was coned off so a little crowded. Gentleman came out with the cart and was friendly. Unloaded my own bags and dropped into the cart. Maybe 2 minutes tops.

I was buying these from goodwill in Bolingbrook. They are all priced. The checkout girl noticed that 1 of them was marked less than the others. i ended up talking to 3 people. They wanted to charge me the higher price on that one. Omg. It's freaking goodwill.

Couldn't get registers to operate, went to pencil and paper, unable to understand sales tax isn't 50%. Walked out. I go elsewhere now.

Good store for the most part but I ran into a lot of old farming equipment so I asked how much they were. They yelled at me.

The employees are very nice, the store is clean. Just don't try to shop from the carts they are stocking from!

Your review helps others learn about great local businesses…read more I have been doing business with them for 2 years now. They could'nt be nicer. Great Items Great prices. The girls that work in there are so friendly and helpful. Don't hesitate to go there I always come home with great stuff. I have also had client's that consigned with them & they sold their furniture pieces. Great place.

Meeting and evaluation of my fathers house and property were pretty straight forward. They said…read moreall the right things and checked all the boxes my siblings and I were looking for. Myself and my son did a LOT of organizing, cleaning, moving furniture. Communication once we hired the company was so so at best. A lot of things were "let me check and get back to you", which ended up with me having to reach out again to follow up. I walked thru my dads house and garage the day before the sale and saw how they priced everything. My dad lives very rural, in the middle of the country so we did not expect a huge turnout but there were people in line waiting with a constant flow of people both days. Day 1 is suppose to be full price as listed yet several of my friends went to the sale and were ready to pay the full price listed and only ended up paying 1/3. Seems like they were wheeling and dealing on day 1. Which we did NOT agree to. WHAT?? On day 1 you asked $20 for something listed as $60? My dads riding lawn mower was priced at $1400. It didnt sell the first day so I knew it would go for $700 on the 2nd day. When we got our itemized list of what sold we saw that the lawn mower sold for only $300!! a 12 piece oak amish dining room set sold for $100, that was a 1/8 of what it was listed at. We paid $1500 for their "fee" and a 65/35 split. Then told that we didnt have to pay thr $1500, that the fee was asked for if the home was determined that it would bring in a profit. When we received the check and itemized list the $1500 was taken out of the profits and the remainder was done at the split. We ended up after all the work and back and forth with $400. a full 3 bedroom home! The itemized list left out A LOT of pieces that were no longer in my fathers home but were not on the list as sold. I asked if anything was going to be taken for consignment at their store and was told no, so not sure where these items went. My father lived very simply so we were not expecting a huge result but really felt we were taken advantage of and it was a HUGE waste of time. I put in a lot of man hours and had I know I would have either A. let them do all the work or B. Did the work and held the sale myself! NOTE-I have been told by multiple people who frequent their sales and many others, as well as people who have hired them in the past, that they will have their regulars (*who resell) come and give them the deals on items. I cannot confirm this but hearing it from many different people gives me pause.

This was my first time here and definitely became a loyal customer. About 7 or 8 years ago, I…read morereceived an Invicta watch from my cousin. Since then, I've been procrastinating on getting it sized to the point where the battery died. After resizing it (thanks to a coworker of mine), I searched Yelp for a good watch repair shop and found this place and thought to give them a try based off of their positive reviews. Upon walking in, I was greeted with a welcome smile and they took my watch in the back to work on it. There's a plethora of various clocks to view while I was waiting from old grand Dad clocks to modern ones. They told me that my dead battery actually leaked but they still attempt to replace it. After everything was said and done (and a leaking dead battery), they told me it was able to be replaced and they set it correctly and everything. The price was reasonable and low compared to other watch repair shops as well. If you are in the need of a watch or clock repair, definitely try them out. You will not be disappointed!

Went in to try and obtain a small screw for my cuckoo clock music box. Politely asked and…read moreimmediately was dealt multiple defensive answers. To me it felt like I was taking away business from them in trying to fix my clock instead of them charging me $195 per hour to fix it for me. Nope, I do not recommend this place and I will go somewhere else next time.

This is the best clock and watch repair business I have found. Other so-called 5-star services…read moredon't return calls like Chicago Clock does. I smile when I read "unfriendly" in a review of CCC. They may not have the smiling style of the other places, they just have pure competent substance. They also may not be the "low price leader" in quoting a repair. But they guarantee any repair. I just brought in to them a 6 month old watch that had a hard-to-turn crown. I had taken it first to another place that told me they fixed it but that it was corroded and needed some winding to loosen it up. I discovered it was a quartz watch that needed no winding. The place unscrupulously had charged me $68 for the so-called repair. Chicago opened it up for me while I was there and found a gnarly rubber gasket that I had probably messed up myself trying to wind a battery powered watch. The technician should rightly have called me an idiot but instead just fixed it in 2 minutes, He did not want to charge me anything. I insisted on giving him at least a $20 tip which he reluctantly but appreciatively accepted. This is the kind of business I respect and will patronize again and again going forward.

The owner is not a nice person. I was there waiting for him to be done with another customer…read more Waiting and waiting no problem. But when they take the person who just walk in the door. Help them after I had been waiting 20min. When asked he said to me "I have only two hands". I will never go back. He was closer but from now on. I found a man off Kirchoff super nice and easy to talk to.
