I'm glad I got over my doubts, because they did an excellent job! I was due for a 20k mile service, and with travel coming up, I couldn't wait a week for the closest VW dealer (where I'm visiting) to take my car in. The VW dealer also told me that once they saw me, it would take at least two hours, and when I had further questions, they sent me to a service advisor's voicemail! I called Warren Tire around 1:45 PM, and they could take me in for a synthetic oil change and tire rotation by 4 PM that same day. You can't ask for anything more, especially in a rural area. I will say they didn't have the 5w40 synthetic oil that I wanted, but 5w30 is also within VW specs and they of course had that. Tires were all rotated just fine, and unlike other shops, they didn't leave any schmutz on the inside or outside of my car. As others have mentioned, you wouldn't expect to find a modern auto service center in what frankly appears to be a crumbling old railroad depot from the outside. This old railroad depot lends a nice historical ambiance compared to the generic boxes you'll see everywhere else. The AC was ice cold on a humid 95 degree day, and the restrooms are clean. I had my car back in less than an hour! $60 for synthetic oil change and $22 for tire rotation, came to a shade under $90 after taxes and fees. Not the cheapest, but less than the VW "stealership" and extremely convenient. I'd come back to Warren Tire in Whitehall anytime. You probably won't wait long, but if you need to, there's a nice canal front area to walk along, a CVS, and a couple of local eateries (deli, Chinese, and a tavern) within walking distance.

We drove up and the customer service was excellent. Our tire was not able to be repaired. We were advised to get 4 new tires and we agreed the other 3 really needed to be replaced. The tires were brought up from the main location. We had coffee shared our story of a flat tire. We were all set to go the cost of the tires and customer service was home town. Ast. Manager asked if I wanted some oil changes. Of course I don't want oil changes I want you to fix what you damaged. I am a store manager for my customer service business for 22 years so I understand what I am talking about. Jim the store manager will dodge your calls all day just so he doesn't have to take ownership of the damage. After finally reaching Jim he looked at the damage and said he will call his repair man to fix the rims. That was over 30 days ago. The owner has already been made aware and doesn't respond either. So now since they are just going to blow us off even though we have emails stating that the damage will be fixed no one will reach out to us. Next step will be bringing this joke of a store manager and owner to small claims court which they will not be happy with. Thanks for the damage to my new rims. Couple of things, they prey of people with no idea of mechanical knowledge…read more If you go for an alignment, they will try to sell you shocks. If you go for a ball joint, they will sell you control arms. They will say, it will be impossible to do the job without the upgrade. They prefer to use their source for parts because they make upwards of 30% on that brand. Lastly, they will charge you $50 for 2 rags and 1.00 worth of break fluid. My advise, go somewhere else for the same price.

They took me in immediately and from the get-go worked to get my car diagnosed. My car needed a part they didn't have on hand, so they called all the garages, dealerships and salvage yards in the area to find it. They called pretty much everywhere. Eventually they found the part, retrieved it, and installed it in the car within only two to three hours. And if I remember, the cost of the repair was pretty reasonable, too. Thank God I broke down near this garage.
