Someone finally unlocked the door +2 hours later. 2) When we called the agency person had a bit too much attitude for the situation saying "the longer I talk to you on the phone, the longer it will take me to get someone there", which is true, but could have been presented n a more Customer Friendly way. 3) There were no papers/instructions for anything: do we wash the lonins/do dishes, or does agency? Do we have access to the garage to park?, etc. 4) The microwave in the kitchen didn't work. The one in a utility closet in the bathroom did, but was unplugged. We had to climb-up high to reach the plug, the cord was juuust long enough. Very unhandy. 5) Not enough washcloths. We did find extra towels, but had to hunt for them. 6) we had to hunt for outlets in the kitchen...none on the walls. On one side of kitchen, found outlet inside the upper cabinet, again, quite unhandy. On the other side of kitchen they were tucked-up behind the downlight strip, hard to see; some instructions would have been handy. 7) This is a biggy: we could not control the heat adequately. It was way to warm or too cold. Again, instructions would have been good. We had the sliding doors open most of the weekend, trying to regulate the warmth, which, yes!, wastes energy. 8) Again, instructions for operating all the electronics would have been good! Which of the FOUR remotes turns on the TV? Trial and error. DO love the instant hot water! The cabin was quite nice, and we really enjoyed the large farmhouse table in the kitchen. Sometimes it IS about the little things.

We just returned from a visit at Treehouse Point, completing a bucket list item. To say it was an…read moreoutstanding experience is putting it mildly! It was the highlight of our road trip! When we arrived at Treehouse Point, everybody was so professional and kind! We were given a quick tour of all of the amenities in the lodge and other community areas. Then, we were directed to our tree house, Ananda. Just wow! It was cozy as well as spacious, and it was very well appointed with everything we could possibly need! Even though there were other tree houses around ours, we ALL enjoyed total privacy. A great deal of attention has been made in creating personal experiences while still tending to developing a very unique community. All building materials in our treehouse were the best quality available, and the workmanship is second to none! We walked around the grounds, being respectful of others' privacy. Every tree house was unique and beautiful! We then took the trail down to the Raging River. It was beautiful, but our spring has been unusually dry, and the river a little thirsty. Overnight, a rainstorm came through the area. The sound coming from a refreshed river the next morning was breathtaking! I wanted to wake up so I could experience it all, but instead I slept through it. I guess I slept comfortably! (And I am not young.) The bath houses were beautiful and felt like individual spa rooms. They were supplied with wonderful bath products, and the shower offered a pampering experience. Similarly, special products and amenities were provided in our private unit, including coffee and tea. We were going to wash our few dishes, but no dish soap was found, further demonstrating Treehouse Point's intent to pamper their guests. After waking up in the trees, we prepared our own mugs of coffee, tea, and nibbles. After a peaceful start to the day, we made our way to the lodge for breakfast (feeding the fish along the way). Our own breakfast was absolutely wonderful! The chef and souz chef prepared several wonderful dishes. The selections and quality of preparation were both outstanding! Our visit was so wonderful that we truly didn't want to leave! We made the visit to fulfill a bucket list item, but we are already talking about returning again, this time with friends. I could go on and share more, but I want you to delight in your own experience, just as we had. If you've been considering a visit to Treehouse Point, wait no longer. You will never regret it!

Sleeping in a beautifully crafted treehouse, surrounded by towering evergreens and the peaceful sounds of nature, was pure magic. It's such a cool and unique experience -- cozy, serene, and unlike any traditional hotel stay. One of my favorite memories is making s'mores by the fire and enjoying them beside the running river. We loved it so much that we booked another visit -- but unfortunately, we ran into an unexpected childcare situation that meant we had to cancel. It was incredibly disappointing and honestly very inconvenient. We had been so excited to return, and having to change plans at the last minute was stressful. That's where Abbey Rodriguez truly shined. She was so gracious, kind, and understanding throughout the entire situation. Instead of making us feel like we were causing a problem, she stepped in immediately, handled everything with compassion and professionalism, and made what could have been a frustrating experience feel manageable and supported. Her warmth and willingness to help turned a difficult moment into one that actually deepened our appreciation for TreeHouse Point. Exceptional places are special -- but exceptional people make them unforgettable. Abbey's graciousness and care showed us that TreeHouse Point isn't just magical because of the treehouses and the forest (though those are amazing!) -- it's magical because of the heart behind it. We are so happy with TreeHouse Point and so grateful for the way we were treated. We absolutely plan to visit again soon -- and next time, we can't wait to be back in the trees where the magic began.

I have driven through on Canyon Road twice and stopped in twice to hopefully purchase and enjoy an…read moreespresso on my way through. There is a large sign prominently displayed on the front that advertises espresso that has drawn me to park and come inside. I stopped in both times in hopes of indulging on an espresso drink in the afternoon hours and have been utterly disappointed and heartbroken when I parked, went inside, and was greeted with a sign that declared that the espresso stand was closed. I am very unhappy that there appears to be no one available to operate and serve espresso either time I have taken the time to stop in. The lodge looks like a nice place but I feel that it is very deceptive to advertise espresso so prominently outside and not have it available for customers. I'm really uncertain if I will ever take the time to stop in for anything at this point after being so disappointed.

We also ate at Rudloof's for pizza. Excellent! The cabin is very small but just the right size for two. The kitchen oven is very old and should be replaced. Don't bring anything that needs to be cooked in the oven but the burners work good. The shower drain doesn't work well either as far as draining. The hot tub was clean warm. The barbecue also needs to be replaced, very old and rusty inside. If we were to return to Leavenworth we would choose other accommodations.

Rainier…read more After turning off the main road, you drive up a narrow gravel pathway, and there it is, a classic log cabin, two-story, nestled amongst the trees. The place was clean and spacious and had all the modern conveniences, including a kitchen. Yes, it's in the woods, but we felt perfectly safe -- there are a few other cabins nearby, and it's not far from civilization. A few retail and restaurant places are within easy driving distance. My only negative is that it claims to be suitable for up to six guests. That's not my experience. There are two good beds -- a queen and a full. The queen might work for a couple, but the full is really only good for one person. And the third bed is a fold out couch that only one of our party could seem to sleep on. Might be OK for kids, though. A small other downside -- we saw a few spiders, but you're in the woods here so you need to expect a bit of that. The thing I liked best about it is the location. It's just a mile from the park entrance for the Paradise part of the park. Later in the day, you can see cars lining up to wait an hour to get in, but not you -- because you're already there you can start early and get in without a wait. Pro tip: Get some groceries on the way. There are a few restaurants, but not a wide selection and the cabin has a kitchen with everything you need to cook.

Nestled amongst a canopy oasis of cedar trees, this recently renovated cabin features both and INDOOR and OUTDOOR hot-tub. Never did we expect how beautiful this experience could have been. We have never been able to find a place since that includes both types of jacuzzis, which is perfect after a long day of hiking. Another great thing was that the kitchen came stocked with great appliances and equipment for cooking. Lastly, the owners Janet and Pat were friendly and helpful. We absolutely look forward to visiting this part of the country in the future and staying in our beloved studio cabin.

My husband and I got married on their covered sun porch on 1.26.14 and everything was lovely. The tiles are a terra cotta color, there are wrought iron candelabras (if you want) and a great view of the river. Todd officiated and he was excellent. We met him the night before and he is very approachable. After the wedding, everyone adjourned to the living room portion and sat on nice cushy couches while we did photos. Tracy is very accommodating and provided champagne, utensils, trays and anything else I needed (within reason). I highly recommend going through Paradise on the River for lodging and intimate weddings. It was only $350 for a gorgeous setting (2 hrs, but we ran into an extra hour and she didn't charge me), friendly service and lovely memories.

This was year one and so far it was the best year! White Water Cottage is located on the river approximately 1.5 miles from Downtown Leavenworth. It is a small three bedroom house that could potentially sleep 9. It is a beautiful location and has stairs from the property right down to the river. There was nothing better than relaxing by the fire after the light festival, then waking up in the morning to a view of snow covered mountains and the sound of the river. The cost was $900 for two nights. We had a great time at White Water Cottage and look forward to next year.
