**DON'T GO HERE!!** The service is HORRIBLE!! I called and made reservations for a large party of 20 on February 9th and even asked if they could handle a party that size. They assured me they could. February 27th comes, and they only had us seated for 15. I went up and asked about it. They said the reservation was for 20. I said, "Correct, but we don't have enough seats." They eventually gave us more seats. They made us wait over an hour just to order -- despite the entire party being there. We tried to make it easier by saying what food would go on which ticket. The waitress abruptly said she wouldn't be giving the cook that many tickets (it would have been six separate tickets). She said we could just pay separately at the counter -- simple enough. We waited FOREVER for our food. When we asked for refills, we were told we had to wait until the food was ready. Mind you -- we only had WATER. The food came out COLD, and we still didn't even have forks to eat with. When we tried to pay, we were told we couldn't split the bill. The manager was beyond disrespectful and aggressive. Finally, they let us split the bill and be on our way. We got to the restaurant at 5:30 and didn't leave until 8:00 p.m. In a town saturated with Mexican dining options, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!! Olè is across the street and MUCH better. **Separate issue:** My newborn's diaper bag was returned after being left there, and the manager is now refusing to give it back. Horrible customer service experience cannot even help the semi okay food :/ Cannot handle a party of 20 with some accidental extras. Mind you a reservation was made WEEKS before hand and advised will be a large party of twenty. Didn't even had the right number of chairs in there to begin with and started immediately with sass when asked for the remaining chairs. At the end of the night, employees held the whole party hostage out of pettiness and an intimidation act. Even after confirmation of payment! Still holding a baby's diaper bag hostage. I've never been to a Mexican restaurant where they bring server brings a bowl of salsa to the table and then informs you that if you want chips to dip in it that will be $4.50. Starting to make sense why it was empty at dinner time. What a bizarre experience.. read more

We enjoyed our meal here. The outside of the restaurant was cute with metal statues. Our server greeted us promptly and was very friendly and welcoming. We started with margaritas. The skinny spicy was the way I like it- not sweet. For an appetizer, we shared a half the puffy nachos which they are famous for. They were good but a bit greasy. For dinner I had the chicken pico salad and hubbie had a smothered burrito and a puffy taco. Nothing was busting with flavor, but it hit the spot at a reasonable cost. read more

Worst Mexican food we have ever had! We couldn't eat the 2 orders of menudo beach they were so bad. They even had a faint scent(ordor) of spoilage. Menudo is my favorite Mexican food so I know it when it's bad. The meat in Carne Asada tacos were so dry and hard that it felt like chewing into beef jerky. Chile relleno had more breading than cheese and chile. Water had an odd scent. Soft drinks had an odd taste (problem with water supply?). I am so sorry that we had such a bad experience during our stop in town. I highly advise against coming here if you are from out of town or if you have had much exposure to Mexican food because you would be extremely disappointed. read more

This place is really good. I had the black bean tostada and the avocado tostada, and they were delicious. The chips and salsa are tasty too! I've never had the chips how they make them here so be sure to order a side of them you won't regret it! I'll for sure be back! read more

I recently came to this restaurant as part of a birthday party. We were seated in the back rooms for that. Otherwise I've tried to avoid coming here as past experiences here (2 or 3) were not good. Food wasn't up to par for me and one of the other times my date and I waited 10 minutes or more to even get drinks. Then not sure how much longer before we just up and left. So upon this visit I was mostly opened minded but not expecting much. The waitress firstly seemed annoyed to have to deal with the large party. The options on the menu seemed pretty basic. And then we got our food which again wasn't very good. The enchiladas were tiny and the sauce on them wasn't tasty. The beans runny. Food not as ordered for some. With so many other Mexican restaurants around there's just too many better options than this place. The place looks much nicer after recent remodeling but I think the food can do with an overhaul. They say it's authentic but to me it doesn't hit the spot. Perhaps I'll try some different items in the future in hopes of finding what keeps this place semi popular. read more

I would like to point out the people who might rate this place above a 1 might not have ever eaten good Mexican food, there is a reason why there were no Hispanic origin customers in the place. Let's start with the "homemade chips", $2.99 for a flour tortilla partially fried and half a bowl filled with melted cheese from a can. Ok, now for the Chimichanga, what a disappointment. We loved the food at Rosita's. The chips were so delicious! Different type of chips, but they were so delicious. The food came out fast even though they were busy. Today was not a good experience. We were the only group eating in the restaurant and still couldn't find a waitress to get more chips or drinks. The queso was orange and looks like it was dumped out of a can, no tomatoes could be found on the tacos. Normally LOVE Rosita's, one of my favorites here in town -- eat there a lot. However, today the service was poor and that is my reason for a bad review. Placed a to-go order, paid for it and picked it up with no issues, however I then drove across town to my office and when I opened the bag the order was wrong and there was no silverware. When I called in inquire and allow someone to make it right, I was told they don't put silverware in their to-go orders and that if I wanted the correct menu item, I would be required to drive all the way back over there and pick up the correct thing. BOO!! People who work do not have time for such things. Also, what if I had been going someplace out of town and eating in the car? Fortunately, I had a spare fork to eat my incorrect meal with. All they did was blame me for allegedly ordering wrong. I know what I ordered, I get the same thing every time. It will be awhile before we go back, if at all. read more

Waited and waited and had to look at a salsa bowl and no chips for most of the wait. The food finally came and was very greasy. Will not come back here.
