One afternoon I asked if I could get an estimate for what it would cost to trim my trees. Felix came over and looked over my property and he shocked me when he said: "you could use some tree work but if I do any work now, branches will fall on your beautiful flowers .! Call me in the fall when your flowers and shrubs have died. " I was very impressed since I anticipated hearing that I needed work done ASAP that would cost a few thousand dollars! A few months later, we had a big storm with hurricane like winds and trees and branches came down all over Westchester. I called Felix since large branches from my neighbor's trees had blocked our driveway and fallen on our house. Felix was already overwhelmed with work from his long time customers but he came over the next morning, by himself in his sedan. His crews were already clearing trees from other customers homes. Felix worked with a chain saw and cleared our driveway, went up on our roof snd removed the branches. He took a photo of a branch that had cut into our roof and urged us to call our insurance company. He apologized for not being able to remove the trees today but assured me that his guy's would clean up the branches later in the week. Before leaving, Felix went to his trunk, took out a tarp and covered the hole in our roof. A few days ago I called Felix since weather has gotten much colder. I asked if he'd come over and give me an estimate since I'm not worried about his guys destroying my flowers. I received a call from Felix after he came to our home and he complemented me on our new roof and said that he didn't think we needed any trimming! I couldn't believe it. I imagined that he would have told me I needed major trimming that would cost hundreds of dollars. He only hoped that we'd stay healthy and wished me and my family good health and happiness!
