Meeting my brother and his wife for my birthday dinner. We ordered a variety of dishes. The Tandoor chicken, samosas, and chicken biryani were very good. The chicken tikka masala was ok, my wife ordered spicy but it was bland. I ordered the lamb vindaloo spicy but it was bland as well. My brother ordered garlic chicken and it tasted more Asian than Indian (had a lot of ginger which overpowered the garlic). Oddly, the dishes had a lot of cilantro which was new to me (having eaten Indian food all over the US). Figured it must be an El Paso thing? The Indian restaurants in Santa Fe, NM and Albuquerque, NM (where we used to live) are very much better than this place was. I can't give it more than 3 stars - average quality I suppose. Probably won't go again, but will try other Indian restaurants in El Paso.

I guess they knew better than to dip into the cold buffet with cold greasy meat in too much sauce!

First of all, I've read the few bad reviews here, and I just want to say: ignore them…read more This place is absolutely fantastic. The food is easily the best Indian I've had in El Paso--and I'm so glad that this little gem opened on the East Side. The chef clearly has a great palate, and it shows in the expert seasoning and depth of flavor you don't really find at the other options around town. If you're hungry before the first bite, the samosas are a great start: wonderfully crispy, flaky pastry, with super-fresh mint chutney and tamarind chutney that lands with a little kick. The tandoori chicken is listed as an appetizer, but honestly it could be an entrée. The traditional color is there, but it doesn't have that overly dyed look you sometimes get with "lesser" dishes. This chicken shows finesse--real complexity, not one dimensional--and comes served with tasty vegetables grilled on a sizzling hot plate. Then comes the butter chicken, which is next level: super savory, comforting, and layered in flavor. Up close, you'll notice green flecks throughout--those aren't spinach. They're kasuri methi, fenugreek leaf--another little clue that the chef isn't cutting corners, and that this dish is made with real care and attention to detail. The lamb saag is exquisite. It's generous with large chunks of tender lamb that are not remotely gamey, but taste like they've been marinated and slow-cooked for hours. The sauce is rich and aromatic--almost like a green molé--and it's the kind of dish that makes you realize that much more goes into it beyond what most home cooks would even dare attempt. The atmosphere is quaint and cute and and the servers are friendly and attentive. It would be great for date night or nice for a calm solo lunch. I truly love this restaurant and I hope it gets the success it deserves. Eat your heart out West Side.

Great spot for Thai food! I met my boyfriend here for lunch today and really enjoyed it…read more I ordered the shrimp pad thai (medium) and was immediately surprised by how much we both liked it. The sweet & spicy flavor from the sauce was very well-incorporated into the noodles, and there were a good amount of shrimp included. The only thing I would change would be for the overall flavor of the dish to be a bit stronger. I feel like chili powder or oil would go really well with this one. Also, I really like when places include extra vegetables on top. I plan to be back here in the future to satisfy my pad thai craving! I would also really like to see what else is on their menu & try the fried rice.

Wow. This is legit Pad Thai. I was looking for noodles and saw on social media that the Thai Grub…read moretruck was on the Westside off Country Club and Westside. I called them up to order per their instructions on their post and promptly got lost thinking that they were where all the food trucks congregated but they were past the traffic circle near a random ditch. Not sure why since the country club location was well lit and poppin'. They texted me when my order was ready and told me they were closing soon but were kind enough to wait for me. The chicken pad thai was $10.50 with tax, CASH only. I must say my expectations were low but this plate blew me away. I wasn't worried that it wasn't as fresh since I was 20 mins late picking up, as this dish gets better with time to mix and soak all the sauce. The past few pad thai dishes I've had were made at home and the sauce from a bottle since I really didn't want to do the whole rigamarole of soaking tamarinds to make it as authentic as possible. The bottled sauces are wayyy too sugary and so the dish leans sweet. This plate is not sweet, but the flavors of this dish are centered around a sweet-savory fusion. Salty, nutty, slightly sweet tamarind sauce, the thin rice noodles soaked up the sauce and mixed with cubed chicken, green onions, egg, bean sprouts, and roasted ground peanuts and served with a lime wedge. It's definitely not as funky or fermented as the ones I had in Thailand, but it can stand on it's own where I worked in L.A.'s Thai town. I'm a huge fan and I can see myself already hunting down this truck in the future. They have a limited menu and I look forward to trying out the rest of the food. I let hubby have a bite and he was like wow this is really good...then I shut him down by saying he should go get himself some next time. Mixed reviews about the overall, but the food is tasty…read more We had a friendly server, but the order didn't come out all at once. And the drinks which we ordered first came out later, and after the food came out. They did drop off a caraf of water at the table, so we weren't thirsty. Liz ordered a mango margarita, and she enjoyed it. My mom ordered a mojito, but it also came out later and tasted more lemony than a mojito should. I ordered and Irani Chao Tea, and it was very cream and cardamom-y tasting drink...but even the large was very small. The foods were delicious. They came out slowly, but I guess it was worth the wait, maybe? Lol. Liz ordered a seasoned fried cashew chicken. We also ordered a paneer, a butter chicken, and a another roasted tomato and chicken dish that were all good. I also, ordered a medium spicy chickpeas dish that came after the rest of the food after I reminded our server. The naan was tasty but thin and kinda crispy. I guess maybe I prefer it a bit thicker and soft, but the flavor of the butter and garlic naan were good. The ambiance was very chill. They had indoor and outdoor seating. It was interesting as I thought it was pretty kid friendly, but this one customer shhh'd a kid. There is a small play area outside the shared area. Parking in the area could be tight If I return I'd like to taste their mango llasi, and some other dishes we didn't think the kids would enjoy, but I would
