Tried this place because of the reviews, it was on a Sunday ordered chicken on our chilaquil but barely got any. Chips weren't fresh either

*Drinking game: Drink every time you read the words "fish and chips"…read more If you know nothing else about me, you should know this...I am 80% comprised of fish and chips. Fish and chips may be my fave thing to eat in the whole entire world and that's not an exaggeration...you can take that to the bank. Seriously, if a place serves up fish and chips, I'm ordering it. Doesn't matter if they're ridiculously fancy and fish and chips is only on their menu as a joke, I'm ordering it and I won't leave until they deliver (not that I've ever seen a place have joke items on a menu...I'm just saying if someone wanted to mess with my emotions that's the way to do it and that's how serious I take my fish and chips). The only thing I've ever had at The Reef Mobile Kitchen is the fish and chips. There's a chance this isn't always on the menu and if it's not, I'm not going. Although I highly doubt fish and chips aren't always on the menu. If you want to know where they're at check out their Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/reeftruck), but it's almost always a safe bet that they'll be at Foodville. So since it's the only thing I can speak on. Scratch that. Write on. Let's delve into the fish and chips. Plump pieces of white fish, I'm guessing cod (much like my beer identifying abilities, my fish identifying abilities are almost nonexistent). Crisp, batter on the outside served along side large fries, a couple of lemon wedges, and tarter sauce. It's all really good and done in-house! You will not regret this. And the truck is easy to spot. Big blue. That's all you need to know. Check it out and definitely check out Isaac M's review for a deets on the Mojo Quesadilla that sounds ridiculously amazing. May have to order that along side some fish and chips next time. And another plus is since it's a food truck you know you're getting a meal under $10.

They're homemade so the quality really does shine through. I'm not even entirely sure how to describe the flavor other than to say it has a rich, buttery (most likely from frying) and a well seasoned taste. It's very wholesome and would definitely pair well with a beer. The brats may be a tad smaller that what you're used to out of packaging, but they are plump so I found them filling. And the kraut (homemade with purple cabbage...seriously took the presentation to the next level) and grilled onions were perfect toppings. The currywurst I tried was slightly higher in price, but came with a pretzel and salad. The currywurst was lightly drizzled in what appeared to also be a homemade curry ketchup...major points for not taking the easy route. The curry ketchup had a slight kick and a subtle sweetness. Yaaaaasssss! I wasn't crazy about the pretzel since it was on the thinner side it's hard to have a soft inside...it wasn't hard, just very dense. I think the pretzels could stay the same thickness if they were brushed with butter and salted a touch more. But overall I liked the currywurst dish. The cart itself is pretty cool looking and appears to be ran by a duo. Lights illuminate the side which is a nice touch. And the smells coming from the grill are absolutely positively heavenly. If you run into this cart, grab a brat!

As korean, i would say the tacos were a good fair attempt. Its hard to find a good korean place in EP even owned by Koreans so i was pleased. My fav was the chicken. Sweet and spicy. Overall, a little salty for my taste but i guess i am salt-sensitive. 4 tacos, salad, and a bottle of water for 8 bucks. Not bad. Hipster-isque atmosphere which keeps me feeling young :) I would say its worth the trip, at least for the first time but nothing to go gaga about.

For almost $10, I think you can give a little more food IMHO like rice and beans. I think you can get four tacos for around $5.00 in town. For convenience of location and saving some of my lunch time for not having to travel further to other taco shops, I'm willing to pay some more. Now, in their defense, all tacos plates come with five...though they are somewhat on a small side...about 3 1/4 in. in diameter. I opted for al pastor, and I was not disappointed. Flavor was very good, and fresh condiments added refreshing taste to it to cut down on some greasiness. Guacamole sauce was a bit runny, but it did add some freshness. You'd better be careful with salsa...it's very hot (at least to me). Customer service is very good. A very pleasant lady takes orders and process payments. Orders came out fairly fast...about 5 minutes. I can handle that even during extreme heat waiting under the sun these days.

It ended up costing and being over $2 a taco. My advice is that if you are really hungry, I highly suggest getting the torta, which is also really good and filled with tons and tons of meat and comes with their homemade salsas -- the red salsa is firey spicy!!! The green salsa is a lot more milder. This is definitely a great go to spot in the area

Great spot for Thai food! The sweet & spicy flavor from the sauce was very well-incorporated into the noodles, and there were a good amount of shrimp included. The only thing I would change would be for the overall flavor of the dish to be a bit stronger. I feel like chili powder or oil would go really well with this one. Also, I really like when places include extra vegetables on top. I plan to be back here in the future to satisfy my pad thai craving! I would also really like to see what else is on their menu & try the fried rice.

I called them up to order per their instructions on their post and promptly got lost thinking that they were where all the food trucks congregated but they were past the traffic circle near a random ditch. Not sure why since the country club location was well lit and poppin'. They texted me when my order was ready and told me they were closing soon but were kind enough to wait for me. The chicken pad thai was $10.50 with tax, CASH only. I must say my expectations were low but this plate blew me away. I wasn't worried that it wasn't as fresh since I was 20 mins late picking up, as this dish gets better with time to mix and soak all the sauce. The past few pad thai dishes I've had were made at home and the sauce from a bottle since I really didn't want to do the whole rigamarole of soaking tamarinds to make it as authentic as possible. The bottled sauces are wayyy too sugary and so the dish leans sweet. This plate is not sweet, but the flavors of this dish are centered around a sweet-savory fusion. Salty, nutty, slightly sweet tamarind sauce, the thin rice noodles soaked up the sauce and mixed with cubed chicken, green onions, egg, bean sprouts, and roasted ground peanuts and served with a lime wedge. It's definitely not as funky or fermented as the ones I had in Thailand, but it can stand on it's own where I worked in L.A.'s Thai town. I'm a huge fan and I can see myself already hunting down this truck in the future. They have a limited menu and I look forward to trying out the rest of the food. I let hubby have a bite and he was like wow this is really good...then I shut him down by saying he should go get himself some next time.
