First of all, I've read the few bad reviews here, and I just want to say: ignore them. This place is absolutely fantastic. The food is easily the best Indian I've had in El Paso--and I'm so glad that this little gem opened on the East Side. The chef clearly has a great palate, and it shows in the expert seasoning and depth of flavor you don't really find at the other options around town. If you're hungry before the first bite, the samosas are a great start: wonderfully crispy, flaky pastry, with super-fresh mint chutney and tamarind chutney that lands with a little kick. The tandoori chicken is listed as an appetizer, but honestly it could be an entrée. The traditional color is there, but it doesn't have that overly dyed look you sometimes get with "lesser" dishes. This chicken shows finesse--real complexity, not one dimensional--and comes served with tasty vegetables grilled on a sizzling hot plate. Then comes the butter chicken, which is next level: super savory, comforting, and layered in flavor. Up close, you'll notice green flecks throughout--those aren't spinach. They're kasuri methi, fenugreek leaf--another little clue that the chef isn't cutting corners, and that this dish is made with real care and attention to detail. The lamb saag is exquisite. It's generous with large chunks of tender lamb that are not remotely gamey, but taste like they've been marinated and slow-cooked for hours. The sauce is rich and aromatic--almost like a green molé--and it's the kind of dish that makes you realize that much more goes into it beyond what most home cooks would even dare attempt. The atmosphere is quaint and cute and and the servers are friendly and attentive. It would be great for date night or nice for a calm solo lunch. Best Chicken Tiki Marsala I've had in a long time! Perfectly seasoned (medium spicy) and tender. Chili Garlic Naan was fantastic also! Fresh, light and crispy! Only negatives (still not taking a star away) is they're new and understaffed. So expect to wait a while. Was completely worth the wait! Definitely recommend you giving them a shot! read more

Not sure why this placed has bad reviews. The service was friendly and fast. I love how each table is separated with a little glass wall to keep groups conversations a bit more separated. It has a more upgraded vibe to it as it seems more of a dinner style set up. I felt the food was all reasonable priced. I ordered samosas for an appetizer. Very good. I've never had those before. I also got the butter chicken with garlic naan. The spice was more than I expected but in a good way. I will be coming back. read more

I tried this place opening weekend, giving some grace bc it was busy and new. Went again today for lunch service. I've been dying for an Indian restaurant in the east side, sadly this AINT it. I ordered chicken tikka masala bowl, it came on a plate and it had peppers and tomatoes in it. Pakora was just okay, live zero vegetable mostly just batter. Chutneys were good. Tandoori was decent, I find it odd they don't ask for heat level. Garlic naan also okay. Nothing delicious. I will not be back. Sad face sad face. read more

We had such high hopes for this restaurant because of our 1st and 3rd visits, but there is no consistency in their spice levels which was exhibited on our 2nd and 4th visits. On the good visits the mild was done just right, a little spicy but you could still taste the flavor of the sauce. 2nd visit, I had to ask for yogurt to cool it down enough for it to be edible and 4th, even after being redone, burned a hole in my stomach. Service is usually good but today, the 4th visit, the server finished the payment before I could leave a tip which I did not give her permission to do and I ended up having to use the little bit of cash I had on me to tip her. I know she thought she was being nice and making up for the bad experience, but it was annoying. On the good side this is definitely one of the best decorated Indian restaurants in town. And if you like spicy, definitely go because the meat in their dishes is divine. We won't be going back because of the spice level inconsistency which caused me to be sick at my stomach today (4th visit). And if you don't like annoying noises, probably don't go because their telephone is obnoxious! read more

My family and myself went by to try this new place since we are big fans of Indian food. Unfortunately, I have to report a bad review. We never had a chance to taste the food. We waited for 40 minutes and food never came, not even the soft drinks we asked for. All we received were 2 waters. We told the waiter we were leaving and said she'd check on it. As we were leaving, she then said the food was ready but at that point, we were ready to leave. They only had two waitresses which may have contributed but she never dropped by with the drinks we orders nor keeping us updated or apologize for the delay. I realize it is a new restaurant but this business is very competitive and a restaurant needs to be fully prepared and staffed. Sad that we were not able to taste the food as the reviews indicated was very good food. Sadly, first impressions are everything and we will not ever go back. Wish them well. My family and I were excited to try this restaurant but very disappointed. Very sad that we were not able to try the food. I get they are understaffed but we were there for 45 minutes waiting to get our drinks. The servers kept giving our beverages to another table. The Kitchen kept ringing the bell because there was a lot of drinks and food to be given to tables. They paid more attention to Uber and DoorDash orders than on the people that were dining in! Food was okay but the service was awful. We were there for more than 1.5 h and I still had to go and ask for a bill and to go boxes. Never checked to see if the food was okay, waters rarely refilled, had to wait forever for our food. Basically ignored. One waitress seemed okay, but the only other person (hostess) seemed chronically confused. Naan was good, my dish was too salty but my companion enjoyed his. Wont be going back. read more
