I couldn't have found a better spot. Susanna, Fitch and Sierra and Jules - absolutely fabulous staff and so attentive. Now on to the food and drink - excellent and happy hour is a slam dunk. Look at my $8 HH food sampler. I'll be back !

What's not to love about this hipster/artsy watering hole w/ a petite albeit good snack menu?! With indoor and outdoor seating, this dog friendly place allows your canine friend to join you in either setting. (Thanks guys!!) -- the craft beer, wine, and aperitif selection is impressive too. Lovely space to spend a sunny (or rainy!) day in w/ a friend or book for that matter, while enjoying all the great treats the menu has to offer. Cheers

Came here for the happy hour beers ($1 off beers). I really enjoyed the decor, very different from any other taproom I've been to with lots of indoor plants. Roses' taproom seems calm with a special charm, a small space with some people studying/working on laptops and others enjoying the company. I liked their menu a lot which had beers, wines, ciders, non-alcoholic drinks, sandwiches and charcuterie a la carte it seemed. We tried 2 beers, the Terracotta and the Wish You Were Here beers. Both beers tasted great! The terracotta was a marzen beer with honey and malt and slight hoppiness. The Wish You Were Here was a tropical hazy IPA with modest hops and fruit flavors. The fruit flavors weren't extreme, great balance in the hazy IPA! I didn't like the chairs very much, definitely made for taller folks. The chair was very uncomfortable to sit for a long time and my legs kept falling asleep haha.

Holy moly Batman! I had some time to kill and wanted a beer and a snack I was pleasantly surprised when I saw the menu of not your average tapas. The beer was tasty and fresh. The food was even better! I rolled the dice on the Portuguese fish in oil. It was a home run. Even tho the bread was harder than I would like if that's my only complaint it was a hit! Service was at the counter and not table side but stretching your legs never hurt anybody. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place is quite nice and clean.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] My meal was soo good I found my self having a hard time putting to down to drink my beer. 11/10 would recommend.

my friend has been wanting to check this place out and we were in the area! [[HIGHLIGHT]]not busy on a sunday afternoon. lots of cute dogs.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]great decor and friendly staff-- they gave us great recommendations based on our drink preferences.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] they also had a restroom for customers. I ordered a glass of white wine and shared the canned scallop appetizer with my friend. wine was good. scallops were delicious with the olives and bread. 4 stars because I think the staff forgot about our food order-- waited 20 minutes and saw they weren't preparing anything so we had to remind them. also - a very drunk man came in demanding for the strongest liquor they sold, and the staff dealt with him accordingly and professionally.

Came to Temescal and met up with a couple of folks on my work project. We ordered some drinks and a platter of snacks. I loved the conserva and the vermouth spritz was fantastic! Would totally come here again if I'm in the neighborhood.

I'm surprised I have not done a review for this place yet. I come here pretty often since it's a couple blocks from me. The vibes inside are really cute if you want to escape the weather, however, most of their seating is outdoors. I enjoy coming here and getting a flight of beer so I can try a few different ones. Their charcuterie is also really nice! You can even mix and match and create your own combination. My friend who is vegan did have a hard time finding something on the menu she liked/could eat. The staff here as always been pretty nice and attentive. Definitely recommend stopping by this place for some good beer/wine and vibes.

Tasty beers with unique notes but not in an intense way. They have one of my favorite micheladas, so savory! On a side note, my husband's sugar was low and I was asking them for something with sugar(a coke) and they were so attentive and understood the reason why there was some urgency behind my ask.

The outdoor bar has WAY faster service than the inside bar, just an FYI. Price - Affordable, especially for the Bay Area. The large outdoor space overlooks the San Francisco skyline, making it an amazing spot to relax with a drink and enjoy the view. I was also pleasantly surprised to find a small market with local vendors selling a variety of items, which made the experience even more unique. There was a Mexican food stand outside, so it was easy to grab something to eat while enjoying the brewery. The atmosphere was very family-friendly, with plenty of kids and dogs around, making it feel welcoming for everyone. The beer itself was excellent, with a great variety of flavors to choose from. Tl;dr - A true beer garden ala Texas/Midwest, with the food, beer, and relaxed summer vibes you all…read moredream of. There's something for the whole family aside from some truly tasty beers. I've been coming here for awhile, ever since one fine afternoon I was in town on business and was feeling a need for craft beer. I was once the world's predominant authority on craft beer in my own mind, but years of chugging ales have decimated my tolerance for it. Anywho, the first thing you'll notice about this spot is it's out there, pretty far off from downtown Alameda tucked away in an old military pier alongside some other more enterprising establishments. Lots of parking so there's that. Inside, they are definitely doing that thang, massive brewery stacks dominate the background but the space is massive so it supports an almost endless amount of tables, benches, and spots to hide out. Arcade machines, outdoor activities (even a kids sandbox) really add the "Adventureland" elements that make it more than just a standard brew joint. If you've had their beer, it's definitely on the expensive side, but they keep a healthy variety that I would say is all reliably refined and delicious. Its no 2000 era Bells or modern day Founders, but I particularly like their love hazy and the Mexican style lagers. My friends who like sours say they are also quite good. Although this place is really not directly affiliated with the business it's definitely a reason I go so I can't leave it out -- they have food trucks outside that handle most of the food there and the one they have there always has one of the best burgers I've ever had in the bay, hands down. It's a blackened blueberry and blue cheese burger and even though I don't like blue cheese, this unholy alliance is faaaaaaan-friggin-tastic. Must try. Service is casual, they do flights which is a great way to try things. Not sure about any happy hours, would love to see them get a mug/growler thing going here for discounts, they might have something already I'm just not aware of but nothing is obvious when I've gone. It's a great spot to kick it with some friends on a nice day or late afternoon, having a few beers and relaxing. California doesn't really do the beer garden thing like we do in the Midwest, you'll find spots like this all over Michigan so it's nice to see something of the same type here finally. I believe dogs are allowed too ala Texas vibes, but not 100% on that so I'd check ahead of time. Personally, I cannot stand seeing dogs at restaurants and bars so even if they do allow it, those aren't your kids, can we start reporting places that allow dogs without signage? If I brought a raccoon in on a leash would you be fine with that? It's a sanitation issue. Anyways, I digress, if you like beer, you like fun, and you like damn fine burgers, this is the best spot on the other side of the pond. 'nuff said.
