After checking their instagram page hours later I saw that they posted the same shoe that I purchased ( pink maison Mihari's ) for advertisement as if they were trying to make a sale on the shoe that I JUST bought from them. That warranted me to Direct Message them on instagram inquiring about when will my order (order#21498 ) be shipped out. The first response I got was "can you send a picture of your ID?" ( I was completely taken back because, are you guys requiring identification for ALL casual, anonymous online shoppers? That doesn't make sense.. but I digress) I sent them a picture of my ID (knowing that something is off with this "establishment") after that the establishment promised that the order will be shipped on Monday ( MAY 4).. on May 4 the establishment initiated communication in the DM with me, expressing that they will not be able to ship out the shoe's because the ADDRESS ON MY ID doesn't match my SHIPPING ADDRESS & BILLING ADDRESS. (As if it's not a common thing for people to have a different STATE ID from which their CURRENT address and billing address is.) I'm explaining to them that my billing address is the SAME as my shipping address that's ON THE ORDER. So what's the issue? ( If I didn't iniate communication after seeing you guys post the shoes that I JUST BOUGHT in the first place, then you guys would have just held on to the order or cancelled it ? Without any valid reason???) the fact of the matter is I WAS PROFILED due to my geographic location ( NEW YORK CITY) and the business was looking for ANY reason TO NOT fulfill my order. ( This type of incompetence/vile behavior shouldn't be allowed in the world of E-COMMERCE). After inquiring about my refund, I was left on seen. However days later I did receive a refund. If information was missing, they quickly let us know so that we could correct it. When the suits arrived, all but 1 fit well. The 1 had a zipper malfunction that was corrected before the wedding so that even if there was a still a problem, there would've been time to correct that too. All in all, our experience was great. Nice people who knew what they were doing. I would recommend Black Tie Formal Wear for others just based off our experience. If you see them at a wedding event, GO TO THEIR BOOTH.
