Friendly and kind staff that made my buying experience enjoyable. The gallery is loaded with all kinds of great local art and artisan wares. I was on a mission to acquire some new functional industrial utilitarian pieces and I found them here. Two beautiful lamps, each unique one of a kinds, both functional and quality fired pottery lamps at a great value and fair price. Walking through the gallery, its a large space and there is great art everywhere you look or turn. I found the first piece almost immediately but it took a good bit of perusing and searching to find the second. After my initial walk through I made a second pass and found the next acquisition. Another beautiful lamp, ceramic obvious artisan made and it fit my idea near perfect. After finding my second piece I headed to the register. The staff wrapped and packed both pieces while I checked out. It was a great treat stumbling across Piedmont Craftsman. Well worth a stop and visit, and your support. It's a wonderful artists' gallery/co-op, with hundreds of exhibiting members. From weavers to glassblowers, painters to potters, felters, quilters, and etchers, this place carries the work of artisans in the area, the state, and some from farther afield. The shop workers were friendly and knowledgeable. I bought two amazing stoneware pots and carried them on the plane back to NYC. Can't recommend this wonderful gallery highly enough.

They are a woman owned and founded business that features handmade stationary, cards, recipe books, notepads, small givers, jewelry, candles and more. It's the perfect spot to pick up a gift for a coworker, a loved one or a friend. The cost reflects the handmade quality, but everything is worth the price. I love the variety of gifts and it's the perfect place to peruse on a Saturday afternoon. I love finding unique card to send to my family, friends and for birthdays. They design most of the cards sold here and I believe they told me they have classes there to for making cards. I found lovely gifts for my friends birthday and stocked up on my cards since they had a deal for mix and match for their brand cards if you purchase a certain amount at a time.

Their pricing is very reasonable, but supplies are extremely limited, because all materials are donated, so when they are gone, they are gone. I picked up a few small things, and the pricing couldn't be beat. Their hours are also very limited only open 10-1 on Wednesdays and Saturdays, so plan your visit accordingly. It can only be worked on by benchmade and they can only get it from an authorized dealer. Mast is one of them. I dropped my knife to have it worked on and they kept me in the loop along the way. I knew when it shipped out, I knew when to expect it. Super solid people. Honestly, the five stars applies to the entire store and team but the knife shop did a great job.

Unfortunately, they didn't have the exact colors or some of the other colors I had in mind but I was still able to find about half of what I was looking for. If they had more colors to choose from, I'd probably go there more often! Since I'm still a beginner, the staff gave me a couple of helpful tips that I didn't know before and helped me find the items I was looking for which I really appreciated. They also offer canvas painting and paint and sip classes, but we had the kids for plaster painting. They offer 3 colors of paint with the plaster (which seems a bit cheap), but they were flexible with that rule and also gave the kids extra paint if they needed. All told, it was a fun experience for them, but $66 for 2 pieces seems rather expensive to me. Would come more often if it wasn't so expensive.
