I continued to walk around and look and saw several staff working diligently. I asked a young lady for assistance and she answered my question but when I needed to be fitted she informed me she was off (it was nice of her to help me the first time) and quickly found someone to help me. This is when I met Ms. Fee who helped me get fitted in a few bras, told me the sales, and made additional suggestions when they didn't have my size in what I was looking for. She was so nice and patient and made my dreadful bra shopping experience much more pleasurable. She had a big smile, worked quickly, and checked on me several times. My check out experience went well too. I had forgotten my wallet at home so it was helpful that they had Apple Pay as a payment option. Overall, this was a great experience as I usually have to wait to get bras when I go out of town.

It can only be worked on by benchmade and they can only get it from an authorized dealer. Mast is one of them. I dropped my knife to have it worked on and they kept me in the loop along the way. I always have a bad experience at this neighborhood Walmart. The few times I've been, selves are…read morealways empty, there are employees "stocking" the selves but they're really standing there talking to their co workers in on their phones blocking the whole isle, and the pick up wait time takes way too long for a service that's supposed to be quick and easy. My recent experience was the grocery pick up, one thing I don't like is the fact the pick up parking is on the side of the building which is not easy to spot. Other stores that provide this service have the pick up in front of building or designated parking near the front which is very easy to spot. Another thing, I waited 45 mins for my groceries. That should not be a thing if I'm ordering my groceries ahead of time and when the app informs me my groceries are "ready". The weirdest thing was while I was waiting, an employee came to my car I rolled my windows down & she handed me some weird Walmart plastic bag wrapped "gift" with a noted taped to it. As she's giving me this she says thank you for being a customer with us." Then walks away. Um, that was weird. I honestly wanted to throw it away cause this isn't a normal thing (and I hope they don't keep doing this), but I opened it & it was 2 vials of bubbles & some random toy. Looks like something you would get at the dollar store, but why? Why would this be a thing? Someone make this make sense!! I don't go to Walmart often, but this experience might be the last time.

It is what i think of when I think of the department stores in the malls. A place where i could find employees to ask or help me when i needed such. Usually a class above stores like Kohl's and some others. But in this age is the idea of these stores still relevant? I believe so. I still have the same needs as I did when i have went to these stores before and I think they still serve an important function as a place to go for those needs they meet and have met so well in the past. However, as today I visited this store today, i still see the relevance, but I also see their failures starting to shine through. Lots of empty customer service podiums in departments devoid of helpful employees. Those few that do have employees are swamped with customers needing help. Having worked in the department store environment before, I can see where the ball is being dropped and why the company needs to more closely look at their priorities. Managers who manage and meet the needs. While I ultimately chose to leave without buying anything and going to one of their competitors, I still think Belks can turn this around if the re-focus on their customers. Make sure their stores are adequately staffed. Not everyone shops online. Would I recommend Belks? Absolutely. Just go during non busy times, because they can still offer that one thing price does not meet.. customer service.
