This discovery was complete happenstance. I was on my way to Kindred Coffee when I ran into the owner of this lovely shop, and she immediately invited me in while opening the store. The owner is so sweet and social. She is very welcoming, informative, and proud of her work (as she should be). The inside is spacious and smells like happiness. She makes all the soaps, lotions, sugar scrubs, bath bombs, hand sanitizers... well, all bath/body products inside. She also sells locally made snacks, dog treats, and home decor. The fragrances can be custom made or designer fragrances duped. She offers samples, which is placed inside baskets throughout the store. There are samples inside the bathroom, like hand soap, sugar scrub, and lotion, so you can see if it works for you. I'm allergic to coconut, and she does not use coconut oil, as she hates the way it feels on the skin. This amplified the excitement I have to shop here. The scented lotion I bought last quite long on the skin. I washed my hands a couple of times and the scent lingered. Love it! I will continue to visit and make more purchases.

This was adorable , and funny

They are a woman owned and founded business that features handmade stationary, cards, recipe books, notepads, small givers, jewelry, candles and more. It's the perfect spot to pick up a gift for a coworker, a loved one or a friend. The cost reflects the handmade quality, but everything is worth the price. I love the variety of gifts and it's the perfect place to peruse on a Saturday afternoon. A little note, all artwork is hand illustrated by the owner, Taylor, and "10% of our proceeds are donated to local refugee resettlement, and all our products are produced in the USA on paper that's kind to the earth." The quote is from their website, https://penandpillarshop.com. I love this place and will continue to support them. We need more business like them, that truly care about their effect on the environment and in society.

I love finding unique card to send to my family, friends and for birthdays. They design most of the cards sold here and I believe they told me they have classes there to for making cards. I found lovely gifts for my friends birthday and stocked up on my cards since they had a deal for mix and match for their brand cards if you purchase a certain amount at a time.

I have A LOT of respect for the women of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. The owner of this store is very disrespectful, rude, and an embarrassment to the work of Delta. There is no reason why an owner, employee, or even a fellow Greek should judge someone's appearance. I was called a commoner, and was also told I looked bummy, and as if I just came right off the street. She also threatened (and did) to take a picture of me to share with other people. I did not agree for her to take my picture but she did so anyway. As much as I would like to support this BLACK-OWNED BUSINESS. They will not be receiving any more of my money. *** MAKE SURE YOU ARE WEARING YOUR SUNDAYS BEST OR SHE WILL MAKE SURE HER JUDGEMENT IS HEARD BEFORE YOU LEAVE *** Don't support ignorance. Greeks aren't being looked at in a positive light because we have these elitist attitudes that cause people OF QUALITY to not join our organizations. Do better.
