Checked in. Went to room. Wasn't made up. Returned to desk for new room.

This place is disgusting and appalling. Was given a handicap room after having had reservations for two months. No smoking room reeks of smoke. A/C blows disgusting smelly air. I stayed here three years ago and it was nice. Do not waste your money. Attempted to contact the manager four times. Never received a call back.

The Rosemont Suites is conducting a Bait & Switch Scam - we were evacuated from our park during the last hurricane (Henri) - we drove through the hurricane because ANDY at the front desk I guess was too busy to answer the phone for 26 hours so we can see if we could check in early with our cat - THAT'S THE BAIT = PET FRIENDLY. If they never stated they were pet friendly we would have never booked through CheapTickets / EXPEDIA which helps these hotels with the bait & switch customers. After 12 days CheapTickets say they will abide by the hotel's policy, even though ANDY THE FRONT DESK MANAGER said we would not be charged he stated "take a picture of the number on the front door and give it to Expedia and I will sign the waiver" So, I did. Once I saw my credit card was charged twice for a room we never stayed in because ANDY said "the people in your room at not leaving" we said "can we get another room" ANDY said "no, my cleaning staff never showed up for work so no rooms are cleaned" and he went and charged us twice for a room he knew we would not be able to stay in. LOCAL POLICE SHOULD LOOK INTO THIS PLACE - SOMETHING IS NOT RIGHT AT THIS ROSEMONT SUITES! Shame on Cheap Tickets and Expedia in helping these hotels rip off people of their hard-earned money. All ANDY has to do is behind a desk and NOT answer the phone and he earned $225.00. The place doesn't even deserve one star.

My mom requested a few balloons and staff went above and beyond with decorating!

Use of recycled cups (Ugh3) gives the in room coffee a weird tase (my wife couldnt taste the cardboard but I could). NO COFFEE in the lobby on checkout (@10.30AM) AND the breakfast restuarant was closed so no coffee to be had there either. Receptionist had a snotty attitude when telling us we couldnt get coffee and they shut the lobby coffee machine off (wouldnt be to save costs would it??). The receptionist had the nerve to say have a nice day - being a brit, I found this offensive and unacceptable seeing as she knew we were pissed cuz of NO COFFEE. The NO COFFEE is why I have given this hotel a score of 3 stars. Next time I'll make other arrangements and it might or might not involve staying elsewhere. SO not happy cuz of NO COFFEE. Some of the restaurants have changed over the years, but most of the key ones have stayed the same. The hotel is also well put together and comfortable. Additionally, my relatives like what the casino has to offer here. Aside from that, they do have some great shows and concerts here. They also have a shopping area where you can spend a lot of time. Shopping-wise, The Olde General Store has some unique and quaint supplies and tools. Sometimes, this store carries handmade dolls by local Mohegan artists. It's a great personal touch since the area is part of the Mohegan Tribe's reservation. I still like visiting Mohegan Sun with family.

Next time (and there will be many!) we'll pack lighter as we brought a lot of what they already had. Really just a change of clothes and some toothpaste is all you need here! The outdoor shower, located under the main house, is lovely and well lit. We showered in the evening before bed and felt very safe and comfortable. This is also where the sink is to wash dishes, etc. There's a gas grill as well as a Coleman stove in addition to a fire pit! The tiki torches around the fire pit area are a nice touch. The composting toilet is in a separate room inside the tree house with a door for privacy. The directions are clearly marked and once you get used to it, it's a breeze to use. The space itself was nicely appointed and decorated tastefully and sparingly. One of the days we were there it rained, and we spent the day relaxing, chatting, napping, snacking all dry and cozy in this little slice of contemplative heaven. Highly recommend if you just need to get off the grid for a few days, although there is electricity and fair cell service so you can still Wordle if you must. We're headed back next month, and the month after that,, and the month after that to try out the tiny house and the Octagon house by the brook. A full five stars for Bert & Nancy's Water Forest Retreat!!

Upon calling the hotel more than 24 hours in advance of my stay and informing them I would not make it and need to cancel due to illness and require cancelling my entire trip. They said no problem. Now upon challenging this both the manager and front desk have no notes in the system the reference this and claim that I haven't called the previous 4 days this week as well. I know I personally called the hotel, as I utilized the number in the hotel section of the Bonvoy App. I didn't not make a note of the name as I was laying in bed with the flu. I do travel frequently and stay in a Marriott property 45+ nights/year. I was even traveling to one when I had to return home with the flu the first leg of this trip and the property in Boise had no issue! Most Marriott's require a 24 hour cancellation and have never had a problem. As a Lifetime Gold member and multiple years Platinum, I have been truly loyal to Marriott. This property's management is rarely in the office as I have called on multiple occasions and feel that their customer support is less than stellar if in fact they don't have the appropriate notes as I've left with each team member this week, yet she is claiming no one has gone into my profile and made any notes. At this point, she is unwilling to refund my reservation fee of $160+ and remains on my credit card. They were argumentative and stating specifics that I knew were not correct of my actions and whom I contacted...So, I question where the disconnect is in their understanding of customer service. I have always been treated with respect at other Marriott properties. Be cautious at this property!

Monday night stay in April 2026…read more I've been to other motels in area for about same rate and at this rate it out performed the others with obviously 2 to 3.5 stars. The entrance is really easy to miss as the traffic is moving so fast and the Hyatt sign is so small, low, and not lit very well. The entry looks like a service entry to some back area.. and it is way in the back so you will not see the building until you are well down their road after you turn in. Parking not so bad although I can see on a busy weekend it could be a challenge to find a spot near the front. Elevator is past right desk to right, whereas dining is to left. There is a gym open 24 hours (didn't go to it) The indoor pool I believe is open until 10PM (didn't go to it) 5 Minutes straight down the road to the Mohegan Sun (nearest to Winter Parking) Room with king was clean and in good condition. Everything worked. Bathroom door was wide and ADA compliant. In our King room we had a couch, work table, king bed, mini fridge, one LCD large flat screen TV, and all the other typical stuff in a room. The breakfast in morning included hot service: Canadian bacon (slightly salty but great) Has brown cubes Scrambled egges French toast (without the vanilla extract) Also - hard boiled eggs, totilla wraps, berries in sauce, yogurt, various breads, bannanas, OJ/Apple Juice/and Cranberry? The food attendant was right on stocking the food. Bus your own trays and silverware to bins to left of room. Food seating - the lobby area, the main area near food, and a sunny veranda. Hours for breakfast (included complimentary with lodging) 7AM - 10AM Check out is at 11AM Check in is at 4PM but you can request earlier time Lobby had a slight funky odor, but not incredibly bad although it could use some air freshener There is a snack and beverage display to right to bac near front counter. Price is a bit high e.g. med chips ~ $5.50. There is a CVS right down the street, pick up your snacks a beverage there instead. There are no steps into building so it is all ADA compliant. No smoking unit - great! I do not believe it accepts pets either. Not sure. Some movie channels could not connect because of signal issues. The menu on the TV is a big pain as you cannot scroll the menu, just let it run through. If you hit the channel up or down button it only effects the channels not the menu. There is no menu button. HVAC works fine. Typical noise but at least you don't hear clanking blades or noise like a airplane when it's running. Sink is out side bathroom which has shower (rain style not forceful spray), and toilet. Towels are placed in shower stall, high up and opposite shower head. Two night stands (one has a useless clock with no instructions), so use your cell phone for an alarm. The other night stand has a USB connector box. Both sides of bed had sconces. I would stay again if it was same great price (under $100 plus tax; weekend is probably higher). Well worth it at this rate! Not perfect, but the other stuff and small inconveniences was worth living with for what you get at this price point so close to the casino. Enjoy your vacation or trip!
