The only issue we had was them closing off the elevator so we had to take the stairs.

It felt like we were in a Florida lanai. The slushie menu is huge and the wall off dispensers is a cool look. My friend had the espresso martini slushie and I tried a fruity option. I stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn Downtown/Waterfront when I went to Charleston. During one of the…read morenights, I decided to go to the rooftop bar. The rooftop bar is really nice! I went right at sunset and the view of the sunset over the Ashley River was beautiful. The bar is only open on certain nights so I would check to see if the bar is open before you go. It is also only open, weather permitting. I believe they are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, but I could be wrong. You can also order food at this bar. The bartender will bring you the food from downstairs. I believe they stop serving food an hour before the bar closes. I ordered one of their flat breads and it was delicious. I also ordered other food from the hotel's kitchen during different parts of my stay and everything is delicious. It is a lot better than most hotel meals. The service was great and everyone was very friendly. Overall, I enjoyed the rooftop bar and I recommend that you check out this bar if you're in the area. Enjoy! Simona
