Relaxed and chill vibe. The food has a great flavor. I opted for the street tacos and they hit the spot. My family got a quesadilla and it was huge! Good variety plans prices on drinks too. A favorite spot on Folly my family enjoys when they're visiting.

Cuban sandwich- husband liked it in Pic you can see he took a bite.

Alas we have the second time gling curse and the food was just ok. Still like the atmosphere and super dog friendly- our doggo was a.man magnet this time.. funny.

Cuban bowl with fresh mahi. Very good (but not as good as the pork belly fried rice, imho).

Girlfriend and I went for dinner one evening when the weather was nice (important: because they only offer outdoor seating). We both got the pork belly fried rice. Absolutely delicious! The pork belly isn't flaccid at all. It's actually quite crispy, with the fat perfectly rendered. Came with a sunny side egg on top. Needless to say, we each ate every bite, walking away quite satiated. The bartenders are also very cool and attentive. Kind of an eclectic crowd. You're likely to see a dude at the bar that looks like Willie Nelson. You might also see young, hip folks with piercings and tattoos. Only downside was that some people smoke at the bar, so you might get an occasional whiff of acrid cigarette smoke while you're trying to enjoy your meal. A small price to pay, given the quality of the food. I've seen others get what looked like ramen bowls and have been told they're amazing too. If you're looking to great food and a funky, uniquely Folly Beach vibe, check this place out!

Always a welcome stop when we're in Folly. Local beach town vibe with amazing food and cocktails.

I LOVED the ambience. It was fun, cool, hip. The weather was perfect and the vibes were vibing. I went on a Thursday evening and there was supposed to be live music but for some reason it wasn't happening and every time a bartender was asked they said they weren't sure if it was going to happen tonight. Which sucked, but it was still a nice evening. Food was a little bit pricey for a small bowl of soup. I forgot which one I had, but it was really good. It is only beer and wine but the beertenders were super nice and helpful in finding a beer I liked.

Such epic beach vibes, great specialty cocktails, live music, incredible specials, we got the green beans, such a surprise treat! The tacos were the best ever! Love the art, and the bar so much.

Pork and mahi mahi tacos.

Chill vibez. Feels like the Florida Keys. Party waiting to happen. Mix of locals and not-locals. Cuban sandwich was in our top 5 ever. Pork taco was awesome, mahi mahi was also pretty good. Music could be half as loud.

Cold sesame noodles, tacos

Got lunch here after the beach and it was perfect. We shared the birria tacos, chicken tacos, mayo tacos and cold sesame noodles. I would skip on the noodles but the tacos were perfect - fresh and flavorful! Service is friendly - you order at the bar and seat yourself (they will bring the food over). I appreciate the outdoor seating and local casual vibe. Probably a fun place to grab drinks in the evening as well!

Delicious taco and quesadilla! Great spot off the beach for some great food. Pork taco was better than chicken but both were good!

The best chill vibe with reliably tasty eclectic dishes - Asian, Caribbean influenced. Great people watching and always a fun hang.

The crowds were behaving themselves, the breeze was cooperative, and the smiles behind the bar were as steady as the tide. Service? Quick. Attitude? Cheerful. Decor? Pure beach--with just enough kitsch to remind you that you're exactly where you're supposed to be. I especially loved the AI-generated "Old Folly Beach" photos. They had that sepia-toned, barefoot-in-the-sand charm that makes you nostalgic for a time you probably never lived through. Clever. Fun. Conversation starters. The food came out hot and well prepared--no excuses, no shortcuts, no "it's beach food, what did you expect?" nonsense. Just solid plates done right. Sometimes the best meals aren't about linen napkins or complicated sauces. Sometimes it's quick service, honest cooking, a few laughs, and the Atlantic doing background vocals.

The bar opened at 10am. Ordered drinks... our bar drinks arrived just before our food did. No, not very busy at this time of morning. We sat outside before the heat of the day forced us all inside. 2 other tables, one leaving moments after we arrived. The view was amazing though. My eggs were ordered as over medium- they were fried hard. I like a little seepage of yolk. No rock solid, but the wait... I was afraid to send my order back.

However, the fries. OMG! They're slightly larger than shoestring, so they're the perfect size, imho. Crispy, yet thick enough to where they don't get cold right away. They also had some kind of herb on them that made them stand out. I've also gotten the Greek side salad there before and it was also outstanding...perfectly dressed with yummy feta and Kalamata olives. Finally, I've also gotten the grilled ham and cheese sandwich there during a late night visit. Basic, but perfectly executed and absolutely delicious. For a bar that's probably better known as a great music venue, this place has some serious chops when it comes to bar food. Am so glad I decided to check it out!

It's a seat yourself kind of place and with the World Cup going on, a super fun vibe, the place was about half full. The hubs and I got fish and chips and the fish was super good. The fries were cold when we got them, which was a bummer. Our SIL had to go ask for her drink after like 20 minutes, the other drinks had come so I think our server just forgot. Our SIL and brother shared the chicken parm and it was huge, plenty to share and they both said it was really good. We had to go ask again about the side of fries my 6 year old ordered because it didn't come out either, but when we finally got them nice and hot, I was bummed we had gotten the cold ones...The hot ones were yum! My other niece got chicken fingers and it's a big plate! She liked those too. We all agreed that the food was really good, better than we expected for a bar and the service was disappointing. It would've been different if it felt like she was really hustling and just had too many tables, but it was way more of a "meh..." kind of vibe. Overall, I would give this place a shot, really good food and maybe the service just had an off night.

Fortunately we were early enough to get a place to sit before the line formed out the door. The biggest complaint was the service. They appeared to be terribly understaffed for even a regular day. Service was sooooo slow. Hard to get even water refills. The food did arrive hot. It was very typical Mexican style food. I had a chicken macho burrito. The chicken was overcooked and it had a two shrimp in the filling. Fortunately I have no allergies to shellfish and actually like shrimp but his could have been disastrous for someone else. The restaurant was very loud and could also use some updates. In spite of the large crowd, and being grossly overworked, the staff remained helpful and friendly to the best of their ability which I give them kudos for considering the situation. Probably won't come back.

The fried mojarra is my personal favorite to get with fresh tortillas. It's always cooked perfectly, not overdone and flavorful. The street tacos are top tier! And while I didn't get one this time, their skinny margs are some of the best on the peninsula. Highly recommend. It's always very clean and prices are cheap!
