The service was great and knowledgeable. I only went to buy coffee bags but felt very welcomed and acknowledged. Can't wait to try out their menu items on a return trip.

Nice place over all. A minimalist style of decor. The coffee is good. The place also has some sandwich options if one likes. Based on the ambiance it seemed like a place that people would work and not chat. A nice background music plays in the cafe.

Super clean and trendy right away. It's across from Kachka so parking might be hard to find, although I think there's a parking lot also across tvr street. Inside felt hip, the staff were friendly, the coffee good. I ordered a cappuccino (not my usual cortado) and it was strong, not bitter AT ALL, and the crema was perfect. I enjoyed sitting at the bar along the street side to watch the passersby. There are a bunch of loft apartments in the area so tons if people coming and going. Would come again for coffee. They also serve pastries (doesn't everyone?!).

Great coffee! Baristas were super nice, and there's tons of interior seating. No exterior seating, but their AC is FANTASTIC so I highly recommend this place on hot days

Loved the coffee and all the pastries!! So good. You have to try the matcha pastry with strawberry icing

A little small, but packed with flavor.

Here for the cookie! Still in the display were one last Rye Chocolate Chip and a Ginger cookie. I'm glad I arrived when I did, the cookie was excellent. Roseline gets their treats from an independent baker working out of a commissary kitchen. I wish I could find out more, because this cookie was delicious. The cookie avoids several shortcuts. It did not rely on butter or shortening, and let the Rye flour and quality chocolate do their job. The texture was perfect: deliciously soft from well-baked and delicate dough. Not the gooey, half-baked shortcut to softness. The quality of the ingredients is clear. The cookie is a little too small though... Paired with some of the best coffee beans available in Portland, I really enjoyed my morning here. The clean, modern space of Roseline avoids that sterile feel of many new coffee shops, and is still inviting and comfortable.

Must get the banana bread chai so good. I also got the matcha latte and that is a good contender.

Totally recommend this spot! First off, love how it's situated in a previous bus shelter. It's such a vibe, and it's also perfect for a quick grab-and-go experience. We came twice in a day and appreciated how quickly they made drinks on the spot! The workers were very efficient, kind, and checked on us. My manager and I got a variety of drinks. We got the Black Sesame Cream Latte, Ube Latte, and Ssuk Latte. The Black Sesame Cream Latte is strong. The cream was super thick and creamy, and it was a struggle to mix and sip. It wasn't too nutty, but it was still good. The Ube Latte was good! It was very creamy; the ube flavor came through, and it was delicious. I didn't add any coffee, and it was perfect. The Ssuk Latte was my absolute favorite! It was so good, earthy, and herby. The milk added a bit of sweetness. It was my first time trying it, and I'd go back just for it. Less and More Coffee is such a gem for a quick caffeine stop! Find them off SW 5th Ave. for coffee, tea, and non-caffeinated drinks. I'd definitely come back!

This location has a different menu from the lesson and more to shop so make sure you're at the right place if you're in the mood for a specific type of latte. I ended up getting the hojicha latte and the tiramisu latte. I definitely prefer the hojicha. The tiramisu while good, tasted more like a regular latte with a thick, sweet cream layer. I wasn't getting too much of a chocolate flavor to it (obviously there was a good amount of coffee flavor). Will definitely have to come back for some of their other drinks. The black sesame latte is calling my name.

When I don't know what to do with my day, or I have work to catch up on, I go to Tov and go from there. Drink-wise, I often go for a Mucho Caliente, the "Mushit," a mushroom-based chai invention, or a Rose Mocha. I've had mochas all over and none compares to the way Joe and his staff concoct the drinks at Tov. The chocolatey-ness, viscosity, mouthfeel, flavor, sippability, sweetness, always satisfy my palate, and the balance of coffee to other flavors is always to my preference. Their drinks are decadent and may take a bit longer to make than expected, and I find it is well worth the wait. I enjoy getting comfortable on Joe's very colorful red cushions, taking in the purple Egyptian vibes within and the eccentric vibrancy that is Hawthorne outside. Fun fact: Joe doesn't believe in plain old ice, and instead he freezes cubes of milk! The cubes stratify into discrete layers that are fun to crunch through, reminiscent of the layers of baklava. Very enjoyable for someone who normally avoids ice or chewing on ice.

We stopped in here after playing a round at the Wonderwood Mini Golf. It had been hot and cramped and we really needed a drink. The door was being held open by a line of people and usually that is a great sign. Being busy is awesome for the business and I am glad they are so popular. It was a weekday, probably around 11 am and there were just so many people in line. It was really cute inside but SO chaotic. There were tons of kids screaming and at times it was difficult to tell where the line really was. After about 5 minutes of the line not moving, I started to get a slight headache from the noise and we agreed we would have to go somewhere else. It was probably for the best as all the indoor and outdoor seating was full so there would have been nowhere for us to eat even if we had braved the line. I think when a business reaches this level of popularity, it's important to put systems in place to keep patrons from feeling crowded and overwhelmed and it's definitely something they might want to look into in the future.
