Our family has been with RoseHill KinderCare for 3+ years now, and we are quite happy with their quality of care. Things we love about RoseHill KinderCare: 1. Cheryl is amazing. She cares about her staff and also holds them to very high standards. Also, whenever we had issues (they inevitably come up with kiddos) she took our concerns seriously and worked with us to get them resolved as quickly as possible. 2. The teachers are great. You can tell that they care a lot about the kids. 3. Extracurricular activities are awesome, especially during the summer. Our kiddo particularly loved it when the police came around to talk about safety, and issued "police badges". I think the school can do a better job of advertising these activities as this is one area where they really shine. 4. Phonics class: you have to pay extra, but we have found them to be worth every penny. It's exciting to see our four year old make great progress with reading, writing and math. Things you may not like: 1. Staff turnover: This is an unfortunate part of America's child care industry, and RoseHill Kindercare is no different. The good news is that new teachers show up pretty quickly. Also, we've had zero teacher-related issues. Some have actually been pretty phenomenal. 2. Parental expectations: It may sometimes feel like there's too many rules, or not enough flexibility. For example, when the school says that kids needs to stay home when they're sick, they really mean it. While this keeps other kids safe, it can be hard to stomach when you're the one in the Kindercare parking lot on a weekday morning with a confused look on your face, trying to figure out childcare arrangements for your sick kiddo. I am unhappy with the director of this Rosehill branch of Kindercare. She is very disorganized and do not keep track of the conversation or talk track of what is being spoken. She said she would hold a spot for my child, and suddenly someone else made payment faster, and the spot is gone. Such type of behavior or commitment is not trustworthy, although it is always beneficial monetarily for the insitution. I have been with Kindercare as a parent with many years, and such kind of experience makes it worse for other centers who are committed or want to make it a better experience for the kids and parents. I hope other centers wont disappoint me. She wants to talk and greet parents in the morning, but sometimes her words are borderline racist, asking things that are inappropriate too. I would let go, in a normal situation, but when we add up it becomes a bad experience for a parent. Rosehill Kindercare is wonderful. As a single mother, the director and my son's teachers have become an integral part of my "village". Even the teachers from other classes know and formed bonds with my son. It's not easy to leave your most precious little person, and they've made it as comfortable as it can be for both my son and I. This review (5 stars) is based on my son going to pre-k here for about a year or so. The teachers are great and the director (Cheryl) was also wonderful! My son loved it here and has great memories in this school! The evaluations were helpful to hear how he had been doing in the extra curricular activities we signed him up for. The teachers are very caring and nurturing, especially when we first started going and my son had a hard time saying goodbye. They really made him feel safe and comfortable. The teachers for the most part were also very communicative through the parent app and would post what they did for the day in full details and even pictures and videos. The only thing I would change is I wish the quality of the lunch and snacks were better. My son also went there for about a month to two months during Covid (Jan and Feb 2021) since they held remote Kinder classes. I would give 3 stars on communication and 4.5-5 stars on safety and cleanliness. The low rating on communication for 3 stars was that it was just nonexistent. I had no idea if my son was doing his work, attending meetings, some days he would come home and no worksheets were done. I would put together the binder and schedule and nothing would be done. It was pretty frustrating being in the dark about what they actually did during the day. Then again, I know everyone was doing what they could at the time and trying to manage all kids and different schedules AND constantly clean and keep everyone safe from contracting covid. So 3 stars it is. Besides that, we love RoseHill KinderCare and they will always have a special place in our hearts! read more

If you actually enjoy negligence, incompetence then say no more this is the place for you. Do the walk through and it's all smoke and mirrors. Nothing here is what it seems. There have been some good, hardworking teachers here but unfortunately the good ones are quick to jump ship. Who can blame them really? It's obvious there is a serious issue with management (cough...cough... her name starts with a C ). The teachers who actually "cared" are pushed away by the internal fiasco and now it's as if they're digging the bottom of the barrel for decent replacements. If you can stand up and have two eyes then you're basically hired. Look, It's a business and they are here to make money I get it. However that's it... they're not here to do anything else. When you sacrifice quality for quantity you'll start seeing some MAJOR LIABILITIES. It's remarkable, the lack of cares given. Workers are often kept out of the loop about potential health threatening classroom outbreaks. So don't be surprised if you're kid is turned away even while you're physically on site trying to drop off your kids. The hours are getting inconsistent due to "staffing issues", which wouldn't be such a problem if only you had good old fashioned leadership. Respect to those teachers who have tried to make this a better place for the children. Unfortunately I fear their efforts were all in vain as they've all literally left the building faster than Elvis. Ask yourself why so many people have been hired/rehired in say a months time? That's a pretty big red flag that upper management here is lacking. Life is full of regrets. But don't let this place be another one. Heed the warning and send your precious kids to a competent institution. A place which actually teaches instead of neglects. Your kids are worth the investment. ***It's not the workers, it's the management. Perhaps one day that issue will be taken care of. But today is not that day as the problem still lingers like a shadow. The complaints have not been heard and new management has yet to come. My daughter has been at the location for two years. The staff seem to either not know what they are doing or ar just flat out negligent to how they handle our little ones. After my kid has mysteriously cut her chin on something never got intel or even informed by the faculty. Found out when I got home and noticed blood on her clothing, or how they constantly diagnosed my kid with an infection without any proper medical professional, just a "her mucus is yellow and it looks contagious she will need to stay home until her cough and mucus clear up." My child has been at RoseHill KinderCare for the past year, starting off in the Infant classroom. Our experience has been remarkably positive, and my child is really thriving here. The director and teachers work hard to provide a safe, healthy, and enriching environment for the kids. I receive detailed reports each day, which help me to feel like I know and understand the daily routines well. I would NOT recommend this center to anyone. I work in Microsoft and this place is very close to my office, that's the only reason I chose this center. I read the bad reviews here but I thought may be things have changed with the new director but I was wrong. My infant was injured two times in his two month stay at this center and both times it was teacher at fault. 1. First incident: He got a deep scratch on side of forehead by teacher's nail. They didn't bother to call me and inform about this. They gave me accident report in the evening but the way message was delivered was not professional. Message delivery was more like a FYI for me. My baby had fever for 2 days after this incident and he didn't go to daycare. Teachers and director didn't even care to ask how he is doing. 2. Second incident: He got bruised on right side of nose and they didn't even give me accident report. When I went to pick him up in the evening, I noticed some blood spots on nose surface so I asked teacher (Jyotsna) what happened. She said that he fell on the ground and there was no carpet so got injured (which was not the case). I informed director center (Cheryl) about this and she did some investigation in which it came out that a trainee was holding him and he bend and hit his nose on kids dinning chair. Teacher blamed it on a trainee. I find it hard to believe this teacher and her stories as she changed her statement twice. After this incident, I asked director to ensure my baby is not alone with this teacher as I am the last one pick up my baby. She ensured me that she will do something about it and he she understands my concern. After two weeks she tells me that she will not make any changes because primary infant teacher gels really well with this teacher(Jyotsna). After this conversation, I lost trust in the teachers and director of Rosehill Kindercare completely and moved my baby to a different center. I had a terrible experience and would NOT RECOMMEND this center to anyone. Some info about Director: Cheryl will give you appointment to come and meet her in office and then when you go there she will not be there and will also not inform assistant director about the appointment. This happened with me couple of times when I was doing initial paper work for enrollment. She takes side of teacher even after knowing that teacher lies and is not fit for infant classroom. Child services looked ok on the tour but hygiene was a question as the broom and cleaning tools were kept in the open. Very noisy. I almost paid and enrolled my child until I happened to look into their kitchen where I saw they serve canned fruits to the kids!!!! Seriously?? After paying 1400$-1600$ to them each month they feed canned fruits and sauces to the children??!!? To little kids who are growing up and should be fed fresh food if not organic they serve canned fruits. Rich in sugar and unhealthy preservatives. read more

Cheryl, the director, is very accessible to parents and always addresses their concerns; my son hurt his eye on his first day there, and I brought it to her attention. She took my concerns very seriously and personally took a lot of time out of her day to investigate. My son is special needs and my son's teachers have all been incredibly accommodating and helpful. I walked in randomly one day to find him sitting in a teacher's lap while she led the group in a song activity. It was nice to see the attention they paid to him, considering the number of children there are in my son's class. My son also has a lot of dietary preferences, and the teachers have worked to make sure that he still eats. I like how the center has a daily schedule that shows what they ate, when they were changed, and what activities they had on that day. They even keep portfolios and take pictures of the kids so you can get an idea of what their day is like. I've run into a few small issues, like the occasional misplaced sock, but I think the positives far outshine the negatives. I feel safe leaving him in their care and genuinely feel valued as a parent and client. read more

This is by far the worst daycare I've ever dealt with. Not only do they not call the parents when a child bumps their head hard enough to bruise it but they call with made up illnesses to make you leave work and pick up your child. For example, I've been told my child has an infection even though there was no fever and his only symptoms were a cough and slight wheezing after getting over RSV the weekend before. Today, I was asked to pick him up and told he couldn't return until a doctor cleared him of hand, foot, and mouth. I immediately took him to the doctor who said he had a heat rash and a diaper rash from sitting in a dirty diaper too long. There have been numerous other times where my husband and I have had to leave work early because of nothing (I.e. fussiness from teething or being tired). They are more than happy to take your money and not watch your child. They do not change the diapers enough and let children cry non stop when they are upset. I highly suggest not using this daycare. read more

Had my kid here and for the past year been paying for extra courses (everything you want your kids to learn is extra $$) Complete waste of time and money. Teachers don't spend enough time with the students and its not just because they have large classes, they do the bare state minimum even if you are paying more. As a babysitter, they're ok, not great but don't expect your kids to really learn anything. The teachers spend a good chunk in the morning filling out "personalized" forms of what your kid has "learnt" throughout the day and on many occasions, have seen them ignore the kids until this is done. read more

After extensive research we had decided to go with Kindercare in Rosehill for our then 10 month old. It was extremely difficult for us to send him to a totally unknown environment at that tender an age but it has been a wonderful year till now. The teachers take great care of my child and the administration has been extremely forthcoming with any information about my child's day to day activity, food preferences and growth.Though the administration has changed thrice since we had enrolled, it has been a seamless transition. As a parent of a happy toddler who totally adores every one of his teachers, I cannot endorse this facility enough. Even though the teachers keep getting rotated a lot, I find that they all take great care and everyone is open to special suggestions or requirements for the child. My child has learnt a lot and has become socially aware and can articulate his thoughts quite well for his age (2 years now) and the credit goes to his teachers. Ms. Shelly and Ms. Ana are doing a great job in running this facility and I hope they don't decide to move out anytime soon! read more

well...I'll say if u have a lot of money and don't know how to spend，just send your child to this place.I promise that your child will learn nothing here:)Being a teacher here is such an easy job,not much experience required,no fluent English speaking required，no teaching skills required etc...the school schedule is like:8:30am start having breakfast,and then kids playing by themselves until lunch time(lunch time is around 11:30pm),after lunch kids have to sleep for at least 2 hours,when wake up,oops they have to play with themselves for hours again！(oh probably 30mins for the music class/drawing class?lol)as a teacher u just need to sit aside watching and probably do some vacuum jobs after snack time.most parents will pick their kids between 4pm-5:30pm,the center close at 6pm or 6:30pm whatever.what a wonderful day！what a wonderful big kids'daycare'！they always changing teachers in the afternoon btw，and plus,if u have any problems,the school director the Asian lady will give u some attitude.remember when u receive the feedback paper for your kid，don't believe everything on it is true，they just try to make everything looks not that bad...alright good luck！ read more
