I have thick, long, wavy/curly Latina hair, and finding someone who knows how to lift it properly while still keeping it healthy and achieving the exact color I want has not been easy. I love a natural, lived-in brunette balayage look, and she absolutely nailed it. She really listens to what you want and creates color that looks dimensional, blended, and natural instead of overly harsh or stripey. My hair feels healthier, looks shinier, and still has brightness while being very low-maintenance. What I appreciate most is that they care about the long-term health of your hair, not just the immediate results. They're knowledgeable and proactive about what your hair needs, but never pushy, which I really respect. The salon itself is beautiful. It's clean, modern, chic, and the overall experience feels relaxing from the moment you walk in. They offer complimentary drinks and snacks, which is such a thoughtful touch, and everyone there is incredibly friendly and welcoming. I also want to mention Abrey's assistant, who I believe has only been there a few months. I unfortunately cannot remember her name, but she gave me one of the BEST scalp massages I've ever had while washing out my hair treatment. It was so relaxing and honestly elevated the entire appointment experience. I left feeling refreshed, confident, and genuinely cared for. If Abrey can handle my hair, she can handle anybody's. So happy I found this salon!

She is truly amazing when it comes to cutting my hair which is on the finer side. Great consultation and suggestions for my hair style now that I'm dealing with humidity in Georgia opposed to where we lived in California. Mary is kind, engaging in conversation, listens to my hair concerns, great recommendations for hair products, just an overall joy not to mention gorgeous inside and out!! I always leave feeling pampered not only from Mary but the entire Indigo staff from the beginning to the end. Truly a top notch salon!! Hey I can't forget to mention the bowls where you have your hair washed is also a treat, super, super comfortable almost like laying on a bed. No neck issues from the bowl rim. Love them!! Parking is limited in the parking garage and I am not entirely sure where else to park as my husband has always dropped me off. They are on the corner of a somewhat busy little intersection which can be challenging to navigate if you are not familiar with the area. According to my daughter who lives in Allen, TX the location is deep into Dallas. But I'm telling you well worth the drive and navigation!!

I needed to get my side bangs trimmed, and also a blowout with a styling and they got me in for me a couple hours later. It was my first time there as well. When I first walked in, I honestly thought it was a boutique because they also sell clothing and stuff and they immediately asked me if I wanted something to drink and I was so tired. I said a coffee and I was not expecting them to have different milk options! The guy was so kind and asking me if I wanted anything else, and I just felt really nice and welcomed. I'll insert some photos of the coffee because it came in the coolest mug I've ever seen. I honestly need to get my hands on it. The coffee was also amazing. I got it with oat milk and they did that little latte art on top. I don't know they went above and beyond. onto the actual service: I got put in with Lauren, who before I go on with this review I have to let you guys know: She's the SWEETEST most professional BEST stylist I think I've ever had in my life. I'm being completely honest. I have really thin hair and every time I have tried to get a side bang everyone tells me that it's not possible because my hair is so thin that it would make me look like I'm balding on top if I try to take any front hairs away. I showed her my reference pictures and how I really wanted side bangs if it was possible but if not, it's OK just a trim on my regular curtain bangs and she was shocked that anybody would say I couldn't get them done. I'm 28 years old and I've never gotten told that it was something that could look good on me and not only did she do them, but I don't think I've ever been happy with bangs ever in my life. She also curled my hair to perfection cause normally when I ask for curly blowout waves, I get these really identical looking waves that are pretty much only curly at the bottom and it's just not really what I'm looking for, but she gave me this natural curl that had volume, and it was just beautiful. I'm actually planning on getting a full haircut with her in two weeks because I think she's the only person who I can trust with my hair forever. I also saw a bunch of other people there getting their haircuts, and these girls were walking out with the cutest haircuts ever. You know like those haircuts you see on Instagram and Pinterest and you think you'll get that when you go to a regular salon, but you end up with a kind of normal looking haircut and not at all what the Pinterest girl has? OK well this salon GIVES you that Pinterest hair. The places like 40 minutes away from me and even with that it has to become the new place. I get my haircut because it was just amazing and everybody was so sweet and not only mine but everybody's haircut that I saw walking out. That door was incredible. I was also thinking of just not reviewing this place at all and gatekeeping it because I swear Lauren ever gets so booked up that I can't get an appointment with her. I'm gonna have to look chopped until she has a slot available, but it felt wrong because I know that when I was looking for a salon, it would've saved my life to find this place earlier.

Laura, who did my hair, was very sweet and polite -- this review is not about her personality, but about the service. I had an important photo shoot for my business the same day, so I was very clear about what I wanted: a lot of volume and defined curls. I specifically mentioned wanting more curl and body. Unfortunately, the styling did not reflect that at all. At first, my hair was styled using just a brush, which resulted in very loose waves -- not curls. I expressed that this wasn't what I asked for and requested more curl. She then used a curling iron, but it didn't change the result. My hair ended up looking almost the same as before, with little to no curl or volume. No rollers were used, no setting spray, and nothing that would actually help the curls hold. I didn't want to complain a second time, but I left feeling really disappointed. The final result honestly looked like something I could have done myself at home, which is frustrating considering I paid, drove 20 minutes, and was counting on this service for an important shoot. Laura mentioned that layers would help, but I don't believe that was the issue -- it felt more like a lack of technique and attention to achieving the look I clearly asked for. The salon is cute and the staff is very nice, but if you're booking for something important and need volume, curls, or polished styling, I would recommend going somewhere else where more care and technique are used -- especially for the price.

Ron is a wonderful person to talk to and always makes me feel better inside and out. 5 stars highly recommend!

I've had stylist that promise "light layering" for movement and volume and when I walk out it's good but the moment they aren't styling it my hair looks choppy and thin or like I let a child cut it. But not w Ron!! First visit was my first cut after loosing 60lbs and some hair w it. We removed some split ends gave it some shape kept layers to around my face and OMG so gentle and relaxing with the wash and comb out. With how fine my hair is it's not uncommon to have a few hairs snap during detangling. NOT A ONE. And the best part my hair looks just as amazing when I style it myself at home bc the cut is great!! I'm VERY hesitant about haircuts due to a lifetime of bad experiences so when I find someone that I feel comfortable and confident with trusting my hair to I will sing their praises like a gospel choir. This time there where 3 other stylists in the salon w appointments as well, all seemed to be regular repeat clients and one from what I overheard had gone somewhere else closer to his part of town and has now returned to Sweet 200. Super chill fun friendly vibe. I found this salon bc I like to spend my money as local as possible to where I live. Even if I moved to a different part of Dallas I will be booking here.

They were also quick--the entire appointment took a little under three hours. Several weeks later, I scheduled an appointment for a takedown because I knew it would take me far too long to do it myself. I am very gentle with my hair. Unfortunately, my natural hair was cut while they were cutting out the human hair that had been placed. At one point, the end of a rat-tail comb was also used in a way that felt like it was ripping through my hair. I was uncomfortable with how rough the process felt, especially because I take a lot of care to be gentle with my hair. While I was happy with the initial style and appreciated the reasonable pricing and quick service, the takedown experience was disappointing. I wish more care had been taken with my natural hair, as that is something I expected when having a professional remove the style. I will add that the staff I interacted with are nice!
